What the app does speaks for itself. There is a good variety of colors that should satisfy anyone looking for solid color backgrounds. So far I'm well satisfied just rotating between five or six of them. I really don't know how one rates an app like this bad. Not enough colors? The hues are not ordered sequentially? Man! Some people would complain if you cut their head with a golden axe.

A vast choice of shades meaning you can save battery by having a dark, simple background. I have used this app on all my phones and tablets as I don't want the distracting scenes which make the desktop look cluttered and inefficient. The app works perfectly and never reverts to the original screen. Totally trustworthy.

Block black, perfect and used on multiple phones over several years. Colour stays after uninstall too so no need to keep the app on phone unless you change everyday lol

Simple elegant and effective. . . Does it work as described? Absolutely... I rate it 4/5 coz it only helps setting homescreen wallpaper but lacks setting lockscreen wallpaper

Nearly 2018 and still the first app I install on every new device or ROM. Just creates my wall paper colours perfectly. I think I have been using it for 5 years now. Thanks.

U should add an option to set the color to the lock screen and home screen or both ... plz do it

Nice simple interface and functionality. To be even better: ability to type a hex color code, ability to save own colors with name, color search, show similar colors.

Great app, except that I can't see how to use for the lock screen, as well as for the desktop background. Is this possible?

I prefer solid background so icons stand out. I do not want animation, uses battery. I can choose any color, simple, fits the bill.

No way to export to gallery or set lock screen to the color set for the home screen. 5 stars with these changes.

The app does exactly what it says. The only problem I have run into is that the screen flashes white when it is locked. This can be really annoying at night. This might be specific to my phone (Moto X 1st gen) and Active Display on KitKat.

The colors on the menu after you download them aren't even close to the colors in the submenus. Not very close anyway. Also there is no flexibility as far as customization. Go get the other colors app instead, not this one. I don't know any of the developers so I don't care either way - I just wouldn't screwed with this and waste my time again, that's all...

I like to change my background on a daily basis to give me a new feel and stop myself from being bored. This makes it easy, sharp and crisp looking.

It would be even better to have a download option. Such a hassle to screenshot and then crop the picture :) hope to fix this!

The ability to search colors by category or something would be nice, or at least be in order. It's a bit messy as of now

Best one I have downloaded so far. Easy and you don't need the hex codes. Finally a swatch where you can drag your finger to choose the perfect colour for you.

For those who wish to use colors for lock screen: open color you want in the app, take a screenshot. Then set lockscreen wallpaper via phone, choosing color from the photo gallery.

Cannot make my lock screen solid black with this app and cannot save to use on the lock screen indirectly... Fix this and 5 stars

The description says what the app does, and the app does what the description says it does. How refreshing! An app for those of us who want just a background color. Two features I'd like to see added: (1) Direct entry of hex codes, and (2) Ability to save colors. Thanks to the dev(s).

Love this app. Simple to use. Can choose ANY color and apply it to my home or lock screen. Highly recommended!

to protect my note 4 amoled screen from burn and to reduce energy use and got that.

I have to agree with a previous review; what's the point if you can't type in the color code wanted. What's even stranger is that the code is actually displayed in the 'Pick a Wallpaper' box. Trying to come up with a specific code by using the spectrum circle & slider is nearly impossible. How hard could it be to add this seemingly obvious feature in an app like this? Odd!

The only problem will be its color selection lacking organization. This would make a much better app if the wide variety of colors is sorted into a small number of basic colors (red/pink/blue/green/...) so that finding the right shade will be an easier job for users.

If you want plain color wallpapers like it says, this is good. Easy to use. Pick a color you like and set it. Runs smoothly and doesn't force close or anything like that.

Does what it says. No matter how many live wallpapers I sample, or use pictures as a background, I always come back to Colors for a plain simple color and find it much better to see. An easy app to use, and it's free. Thank you. Grab this one. Strongly recommended.

Simple way to get colors with fun names. Colors are in random order, which can be fun. Or frustrating.
