ASAP Launcher for Android
Really awesome launcher, just wish there were more cards. e.g. Google search or even cards for your favourite apps. It would also be nice if I could disable the settings bar, and possibly change the app drawer to swipe up (especially since I have the plus version) But otherwise, absolutely love it
Love the little drawer at the bottom, the swiping left and right to access calendar and contacts. One thing it's missing is home screen shortcuts, a la the default launcher. I know the developer was deliberately trying to avoid clutter, but when I want to use an app babitually, I put it on the front screen as a reminder. ASAP doesn't let me do that unless I overwrite the browser or the phone....
I have tried many if not most of the launchers on the play store, and this one takes the cake by far. I have a phone that is a piece of garbage and could barely run other launchers, but this one feels as fast (if not faster) than the standard one. I love the intuitive navigation, task list, calendar, weather, contacts, and more! Navigation has never been so easy! The only downside for some people may be the lack of widgets, but I personally believe that the built-in ones are just as good and run faster than regular widgets. Recommended 100%!
good launcher but it has lots of things that need to be improved. I will keep this launcher though because it allows me to use the themes and icons from huawei. I hope they add some more gestures options and toggles like from Smart launcher where you can hide status bars etc.
I really like this launcher because of its great features with minimal settings. I really don't want to dulge in the ocean of settings that can't be handle if someone messes with them. I just want to suggest one more feature that can be added in its home tabs that's widgets tab so that we can get important widget updates from Google app, Google play newsstand and others. Rest is awesome
Really nice launcher. But you should add a feature for the quick toggles on the side where long pressing an option opens the system settings for it, like how Samsung and Google are doing by default. Also, couldn't find the launcher's settings anywhere, so I couldn't use options like the dark theme
So far it's really good! My only issue with it is that the vast majority of the features can only be used by upgrading to the prime version. You should just unlock at least half of the total number of features to give the users of the free version a glimpse of the things the prime has to offer, otherwise it would be a bit unfair. Now I don't say those that don't pay should have all the features, but almost all of them are locked behind a pay wall, so it would be nice for those of us who can't pay for the pro version to get a fair amount of features. Otherwise it would be a real turn-off for potential users
Actually, this is the best launcher i've ever had. Less of ram capacity, smooth, and clean. You can pin it your favourite apps. Nice work. But it will be good if system setting at right side can be disabled or replaced with apps notification.
Amazing UI design. Wasn't what I was looking for but now it's all I want. Bravo!! Update: I love this launcher so much. I may but it. Please add more cards! Those things are so cool but the current ones are kinda boring. You can slice it up! Card ideas: Calculator Stopwatch Email list News feed Notification list Etc. I can't think of any more
The app is very good and fast, it has a very useful and minimalistic UI and the experience is great. The only problem for me is that I can't change my lock screen wallpaper on Nougat and this it. Overall, the app is very good and useful. By the way, you could add a card for widgets.
Now I don't need to! I've been wanting to trim the fat on my shuffling old phone for a while. I wanted to use my phone as a tool as opposed to a distraction. This launcher is perfect and has also made my phone run so much smoother now. Before I installed the launcher my phone it was was almost unusable. I can see why it wouldn't be for some people but it's perfect for me.
Can we get an option to make the clock under widget the default on the home screen? I don't like that asap often switches back to the main one when I swipe in the app drawer or the quick settings. Also, better implementation for unread badges would be nice, it only works for a select few apps.
Specifically folders on the dock (first row) and the most crucial, app shortcuts (on nougat). Not trying to diss this launcher but for me it is a no-buy if you don't introduce at least app shortcuts for nougat based phones, especially now that nougat is reaching more devices, this omission will become a deal breaker for many. Again, I'm buying/donating in an instant once added because it is already 90% there and could become a major player easily.
This launcher is absolutely brilliant and provides a seamless experience while looking amazing. I do have one qualm: While it shows album artwork in the music player for Spotify and the native players, it does not support Apple Music (my preferred streaming service). I hope the dev can possibly include support for it in the future. In the meanwhile, I won't allow such a small problem to take away from my experience
Overall, I love this launcher. Just one request/recommendation. On home screen I just can't resize or get rid of Google now widget. It is such an eye sore. Some people may like it but I am not one of them. Can we please get an option to get rid of it. It is kind of redundant as your launcher provides card based pages
All good. Overall a decent launcher. Could the ToDo list be synced with Google Keep? Bug: Unread Count would stay even if I clear reading all my texts. No support for 3rd Party Widgets. You have a blank screen when scrolled up from the Clock/Weather widget. Please make this space for utilised for 3rd Party widgets, shortcuts and folders. I don't see the use of a second digital clock on this blank screen. For now, I'm using 'Snap Swipe Drawer' with ASAP Launcher for widgets... Also, Apps drawer is not easily accessible for a right-handed person. Ideally swiping-up on screen should bring the Apps Drawer and where right now is the Drawer should list the frequent or pinned Apps.
Been my main launcher for a long time. Weather card looks amazing, app drawer on the left is something you just get used to having, and ability to hide apps such as Play Services is very useful. Thanks to the developer(s)!
everything about this launcher is great, save one annoying thing. The weather page, is garbage. it is never accurate. Just because the temperature is below 0 on the low end, doesn't mean it's snowing. Please use a different data source or fix the weather digestion. Even the datasource shows different information than the app.
I wish there were more cards to choose from. Even though there are days of the week in the calendar now, there is still no day of the week on the home screen. The top row of the dock drawer looks like a punched out smile - I removed one app from there and nothing came to take its place. It looks really ugly. I wonder if I ever bought the full version would the number of missed calls/messages show on the contacts card?
This is an excellent Launcher. Yes there are still some tweaks that could be made. Eg option to have the. Apps draw from either the left side OR right side but still one of the best I've used. One thing g I can't work out... How do I hide the music player widget on the home page? Thanks
It's a really good launcher almost perfect but it lacks Widget support and I can't add new Pages into the homescreen. What features I want to see in future updates . Widgets, More Pages/Cards, Swipe Up and down page HTC Sense style. Oh and if possible a redesign to the Home screen Google Card to look more inspired by Android Nougats google search bar. Edit: I have to change my review on this Launcher. It is Amazing! It is Perfectly Simple! Lives up to it's Name ASAP Launcher
It's a really amazing launcher and makes the phone's interface look so simple yet unique. But there are 2 aspects that require the developer's attention. 1.In the quick settings(from right edge) there is no toggle for Sync and Mobile Data nor option to add/customize.2 No App badges. There should be app badges on dock as well as in frequently used apps in the dock(swipe up ones).IMPROVEMENT WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.
Sleek minimal UI that really shines on my galaxy s7 edge with it swipe out menus. Only complaints are that app dock/favorites needs to be customizable, so the apps I want actually appear, the intelligence is good and all but, I also know what I want and do want to wait for the phone to learn. I also wish the to do page was more like Google keep. Other wise excellent work, sadly I must discontinue use due to those issues.
I love simplicity, and love seeing my wallpaper. I spend a lot of time find a wallpaper which works well with my simple yet fast home screen organization. This launcher is everything I want and more. The wallpaper adaptive theme is an amazing feature. I also love how Prime (the paid upgrade) is handled so you don't need it, but it adds enough and is cheep enough to be worth it. This is the only launcher that I will be using instead of the Google now launcher.
So far really enjoying this launcher, things that would be a nice improvement, 1. a built in messager, music, and other widgets built similarly, or let us add widget screens where the app stretches it to full screen. 2. is the option to show notifications on the home screen as if the phone was locked I hope you consider these when updating the app!
This is a great free launcher if you like an uncluttered home screen yet still want to quickly access everything you need. I love the cards and the pitch black AMOLED theme. And the best part, NO ADS! I did notice a few bugs; sometimes scrolling through by letter in the app drawer doesn't work, sometimes hidden apps still show up in app drawer, and often it takes a few seconds to load the home screen when pressing the home key. Fix these and add drag and drop for dock drawer apps and I'd rate 5 stars. Add a custom card and 4G toggle in the quick settings drawer and I'd buy the paid version. Excellent work already though!
This has to be the first launcher I can honestly say has won by heart that I decided to pay the premium something I have never done. However I think few things could help improve such perhaps transparent widgets so we can see the wallpaper in the background and the search bar at bottom as it makes easier to click and search. Thank you.
I really like this launcher. It's a nice change from Nova. Although good, it's not yet perfect. It would be nice to see some of the following: Folder functionality (grouping within the dock) The option to increase the amount of apps available in the dock i.e insert another row Bookmarks (I had these on my home screen in Nova so a card for these would be nice.. A full card displaying the full month in days. Slight more customisation. Other that that I am really liking the cards giving at present and think it's a great launcher so far.
Surprisingly familiar but different at the same time. Very well made and the first launcher to keep me away from Nova in years. My only suggestion is that you allow us to freely customize the dock. When I pin them they're pinned in the order I pinned them. Which makes organizing them difficult. Other than that really happy with this launcher
This is a very efficient and smart launcher. Everything I need is easily accessible from my home screen. And no unnecessary extras. Its super fast too as the name implies and light on the battery. This is for those who like a simple, elegant and efficient launcher. Two drawbacks are lack of vibrant themes and inability to use widgets on screen.
It's almost like the launcher developer(s) looked into my brain, saw what my ideal launcher would look like and then created ASAP launcher! Love everything about it. To he only piece of advice I have is this: more cards (a messaging/email card & a news card would be awesome), and adding some lock screen customization would be phenomenal. Otherwise love this launcher! Well done.
Very good concept and app in the overall. To do work ASAP, I will use this launcher. It replaced 3 apps I used individually. However, please work on the calendar card, I am sorry but it's quite bad. It's hard to understand the order, you're using way to much screen space, next items with more info from the calendar in a vertical order. Dock needs also to be customizable. I will buy this app of both things are fixed. It's by far one of the best launchers for a minimalistic use.
One thing missing are the pixel shortcuts. Also if you could add a sort of double swipe up for app drawer cause reaching all the way left is tough on a big phone. And also more gestures. And we need to be able to remove status bar. But otherwise very nice and simple. AND PLEASE PUT A BACKGROUND FOR DOCK
I really like the simplicity of this launcher, it gets most things just right. I like the incorporated to do list app card, it would be better however if the to do list could have reminders built in. Also I would prefer it if the home screens could have an option to hide the status bar. Other than that it's great.
This launcher reminds me of the simplicity of Smart Launcher 3, Google Now launcher, and Action Launcher 3 packed into one. I can access all the most important stuff by swiping without having to press a few keys to access each app. Wanted to use icon packs with the launcher, and the Prime upgrade was cheaper than a cup of coffee. Thank you!
UPDATE: They have added a search feature, so now it's perfect for me! ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW It's a very nice simple launcher, the only things I wish it included was a way of searching, like a gesture or something. I'm excited to see the future though.
This is the first launcher that has kept me away from the Google Now and Pixel launchers. I do wish that it had a few more options however. I'm not a fan of the dock trying to guess what apps I'm going to want. It's hard to know if the app you're looking for is going to be there. I tend to pin all the apps I want in the dock so they don't move around. As of now there isn't any way to shuffle pinned apps around except to repin them in the correct order.
This is by far one of my favorite launchers. It is simple, minimalistic, and beautiful. But no matter how much this launcher makes sense, there are some things that just don't. One, the quick drawer is not customizable at all. Once pinned, there is no moving the apps around. Second, the app drawer isn't easily accessible on a big phone. If you could make it so your left most swipe were to open the app drawer, rather than needing access to the far left of the screen, it would increase one handed ease of use.
I like it but I won't be using it I'm to used to a traditional app drawer and I like to view news with my Google cards I could not find that on this I do like the calender and phone dialer to the right and left very much

Great simple launcher as described. I am surprised as to how much I tend to use it. But I would like to see some kinda swipe functionality for the quick app drawer. So that I can add more than 15 of the apps I use most. Another thing is that the count badge doesn't work properly. Even after reading a text, it still shows that I have one unread message.
