Why it's made simple? because we would like to make your phone is cool but also not consume too much battery with light process for your phone machine with small memory usage. Calm color with white, grey and black makes your screen looks great but not hurting your eyes.
You can change the background colors by touching on the middle top of the screen. To slide wallpaper, touch on the upper right/left of the screen.

Hi Batunut, the idea and design was great but it totally needs an improvement on animation and resolution, it wouldbe better if it was on HD :)
