About Magic Distortion
Dynamic Kaleidoscope, based on a distortion of space.
Distortion generator changes the shape of picture over time.
Each generator creates a own unique tracery.
In total, the program contains a 24 distortion generator and 11 preset pictures.
For some generators are provided sign of complicated behavior in which the movement is not repeated during a long time.
In the mode of manual settings:
Select distortion generator and image from presets.
If you want to use custom picture you must enable "Use custom image" and click on "Select custom image". Select your own picture from gallery or folder.
If the custom image is successful selected, it will replace the picture from the preset list.
The settings, such as "Select image from presets", "Use custom image", "Select custom image", "Complicated behavior" and "Speed" will be saved independently for each generator.
In the mode of random settings:
if sign of "Random generator" is enabled, generator will selected randomly with the own individual settings.
if sign of "Random images" is enabled, you must select the source of random images - from presets or from folder.
A random selection of images from a folder allows you to create your own collection of images.
To produce beautiful patterns, use images containing several large contrast detail.

If you're a fan of kaleidoscopic, prismatic lwps and you like the free version of "Magic Distortion": Go Get It! This lwp has all the qualities of other top notch lwp's + incredibly rich colors & a stained glass feeling to it. Noticed the tiny issue with "Custom Pic/Folder" + "Random Generator" not working consistence too (see Elizabeth R. 15/01/14) and have read the reply..will read it again, once the braincell is back from vacation...don't get it quite right now. Nevertheless: Absolutely Recommended LWP!!

I am go glad that I found this lwp! It has so many options from which to choose that it is well worth the upgrade! It includes 24 "distortion generators," or patterns, 11 "presets," which include images like "blue mosaic," "bronze thread" and "stones." You can also choose your own photo, or folder of photos, or set random images. And you can adjust the speed and the brightness. Thank you so much to the developer for this wonderful wallpaper!

1 of the prettiest kaleidoscope lwp's available. A little hard on the battery. Hopeful in time the developer will b able 2 optimize n refine this pretty lwp n make it a little less battery hungry, so I can use it more. But other then the battery issue this 1 is a winner!!

This is awesome. I'll give it five stars when it becomes available in Day dream mode. Also, with it wouldn't make me go back and select custom image just because I changed the generator setting. The random generator setting won't stay on the image I had selected.

This is Amazing,when I was a kaleidoscope were one of my favorite toys to play with! I really like the ability of the app allows you make your designs from your own personal pictures...or any picture as far as that goes!!! Try it for yourself!! :) I only have one question/request...why is not possible to add this to my homescreen,mygrandchildren love this app but it takes a few steps to get to it from the menu settings.... please make an adjustment in a future update that will allow it to be added to the homescreen,Thanks!!! :D
