Does what it says. Create a direct dial or a direct message/text shortcut on your home screen. Lets you choose an image to use as an icon. Was useful because my phone's native direct-dial shortcut stopped working. But if you uninstall the app, your direct-dial shortcuts disappear.

Works ok on my Samsung s6 android 6.0.1. The option to select a custom dialler image from files on your device doesn't work but it successfully pulls in the associated image from my Google contacts

Since AT&T upgraded my Galaxy S4 from KitKat to Lollipop, I can't add contacts any longer. I guess it's no longer compatible with my phone because of Lollipop.

I use apex launcher and use the gestures to direct dial but since S6 edge+ doesn't have direct dial function I was not able to. With this app I managed to use apex gestures to direct dial. Thank you.

Works perfectly. Creates a direct dial shortcut on the home screen as there's no more such option since And5. Thumbs Up!

Downloads and I have the shortcut but it only tells me what it does, nowhere to set up contacts at all.

If you want a direct dial for someone's home and another for their mobile or work, they end up looking exactly the same on the screen. The screen icon should say 'Mobile' or 'Home' for me to consider this.

It was great. Then it autoupdated and broke dozens of shortcuts. Not happy about having to recreate them again after doing it all once when converting from another app.

Please provide a way to edit the shortcut. Change picture and name after creating.

Excellent App,thanks for giving it free,You should change your instructions,long press on an empty desktop area does not show shortcuts in ICS 4.04 and above,contacts Should be Added through "Better Direct Dial 1X1 WIDGET"from widgets(in Samsung Galaxy Note with ICS 4.04,Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with Jelly Bean 4.1.2)

This App does what it claims. The best app. I spent hours searching for a direct dial app which gives icon on home screen and directly dials. Let me tell you NO other product does that . This is the best. Suggest all users to download

Can't long press and find widget. Its in apps/widget folder tho.

Works very well, quick dial shortcuts, customize icons. Update messed all my current ones and have to remake them. Otherwise great

For those having trouble, add shortcut as a widget, not by opening the app. Works great, free with donate optional.

Shortcut not appearing on any of my screens!

Great little app. Makes direct dial shortcuts without the distracting "H" or "W". And you can put them in a "folder" on your home screen.

Installed this after the stock dialer shortcut kept on disappearing. Would be nice to be able to add call or message overlay icons and/or edit the text, since I might have multiple shortcuts for the same contact on the same screen.

Does what I waned, and just a little more. To those who are having trouble... don't try to "open" the app. Once it's installed, do a long press on the home screen, then choose the widget. THAT is when you choose the contact and image.
