TimeBar Status Bar Date & Time

Its decent but some improvements would make it great. If root is used it may be possible to replace the status bar clock instead of covering it maybe? The clock is visible when you pull down the notification bar too. It means 2 clocks at the same time. There is delay in showing clock when the device is unlocked. There should be an option to show it in one line instead of 2 along with the necessary adjustments for font size for the same.

I have a problem in that newly downloaded programs throw up the 'screen overlay running' error. This forces me into screen settings to turn off timebar so that I can set up the new program, then I have to go and turn Timebar back on. Very irritating and there must be a way around this?

Bit glitchy, only one in app store like this I could find with time and date with yr, small in corner. Please update it and bring it to life more. It is necessary for me to have one like this and much needed. :)

The best app ever for the purpose. I'm at the moment displaying date and temperature as follows: 20 Sep,17 | 23° Excellent. Saves my home screen from intrusive widgets.

Works great on LG v20. Developer has worked hard to overcome Androids inability to customize date in status bar. Takes a minute to fine tune but worth it.

Using TimeBar for couple years. Settled on one 'window' displaying battery % & 24hour clock. Placed over stock battery & clock in notification area. Like it, even on 'full screen apps' - lets me keep track of battery in games & time at public hotspots. Can be difficult to setup: start with in-app Setup followed by Top Line of Text… set with 'Lockscreen' button; skip Bottom Line; go to Font Color… , Font Size… & Font Style; when you know what you are doing or to improve effeciency visit app MENU > Settings.

A little confusing. Not sure I could imagine a better way to do it, though.

I was messing around with my Note 4 and, somehow, managed lose the clock on my status bar when the phone is locked. This app fixed that problem perfectly. I even set up the clock on the bottom right corner so I could enjoy my lock screen wallpaper

It is a great app. I used it to cover my blue clock of Jelly bean. But it keeps crashing.

The clock will not update every minute. I have restarted my phone and it will still only refresh every couple to few minutes. Besides that its awesome

I have a custom rom which has mysteriously taken my time off the status bar. Luckerly this app sits perfectly at the top looking all swish. A potential downside is it doesnt dissappear when opening up other apps, however i like it as when im on youtube i can now see the time at all times. 5 stars for me

What a great app! Perfoms a very important purpose of showing the date in the Status bar - with TONS of configuration options. Can't believe stock Android does not have this function. This app fills the gap perfectly.

... But the display only updates every minute - seconds don't change! Too bad! Seconds don't work on Nexus 6P...doesn't work on Samsung S8Plus, either.

Way too complicated to set up. All I want is a larger clock with seconds, but all I can get is a date.

Does not work in MIUI8 Marshmallow. Since 2014 no update, what can we expect ?

Guys the b code that is for battery charge doesn't work... So kills the feature of the app.

A bit confusing in the beginning but more that worth it! I've tried so many apps, some very good, but this is the best at this job. Looking eagerly for more from you guys!

Provides tools to theme items in status bar which cm 12.1 can't. The Pro version is just what I needed and fairly easy to use. I haven't used it long enough to give it 5 stars but if it continues to play well with cm rom I'll give it full 5. Running g900f on cm 12.1 nightly (05/11).

But you need a rooted device with FSBI installed in order to take advantage of the awesomeness. The developer isn't responding to his emails. I do hope he has released his source somewhere so we can work on making this viable for the average user again.

Just sent a donation after downloading. This is by far the best add date to status bar app on the Play Store and a lot more. Works like a root app on non-rooted phones. Fully customizable and I mean fully!! Look no further than this!! Thank you for this application!! Cheers!!

I can't make a floating window appear. I don't have physical home key. Perhaps my Redmi 3s is the problem

The customization of all the following : location, the colour , the content, the font size make this app perfect for my Android device.

Brilliant, just what I was after...nice app

After playing with it for a while, I figured out that it wouldn't work to replace my clock but I could use it to add the date to my status bar. The only issue I see is, it blinks when changing screens (from lock screen to home screen...). This is a great app.
