Dear Nat Geo, Please explain to all of your loyal followers why the app has apparently been halted. I can't imagine the answer would be cost, perhaps copyright... It would be nice to know. It was one of the sweet things about the day - to start with an eye popping photo and a smile. Sorry to see you go without so much as a peep to all of us. You promoted a lot of warm fuzzies all round the globe. Your job.

I have used many of the photos as my wallpaper over the past couple years. They are beautiful. Lately though it hasn't been loading any new photos...since Oct 17th. This is a disappointment. I hope it's resolved soon!

I seldom let a day go by without checking this application for the latest stunning photo. For aficionados, it also provides technical info regarding the shots &, for all of us, frequent access to further fascinating photos. Highly recommended.

Downloaded photos are grainy and low-resolution only. Would be better if option given to download higher-resolution version instead. For now, it is better to just visit the website directly for the high-res photos instead.
