Fancy Widgets Unlocker

I can only assume the developer is no longer supporting this app, as it has not seen a developer update since 2013. The main app hasn't fared much better, with its last update in early 2014. I've been using this app for the better part of a decade and have decided, with its ever decreasing reliability (app can't perform it's only function; to confirm I'm a paid user), that it's time to let this one go. So, thanks for the good times and so long.

I think this is an excellent app. I went from using stock HTC to CM7, an AOSP rom, and missed my clock and weather widget. I love the wide arrange of skins available for clock and even weather. I do not use the battery widget any longer (CM7 has an option built into statusbar to show percentage) but it was great while I used it. I only had a couple of issues with some skins downloading but it seemed to be a server issue as I could download them later. Well worth the paid unlocker to support the developer (not to mention the extra skins). Keep up the good work.

Not sure what's been going on, Accu weather has been dropping the ball, been more of a past cast instead of a forecast for weather, in appn links for weatherbug are linking out correctly for your location ask you to re enter, Was Simply the best bought it while it was on sale and have not regretted it, well worth the full price, geo location could be a little better though. Now I am having second thoughts hopefully devs will do something about these issues.

This was once my preferred clock/weather widget - and I wish I could still use it. While many of the skins are older and look dated, there are a few that I really like for showing the time and weather. Unfortunately, the current conditions and forecast updates have both been broken for a while now (I use "WeatherBug" as my "weather provider" on the location settings screen - it's my preferred weather source). There is no error message or other indication of a problem, it just fails.

Opening Fancy Widgets says the unlocker is detected and asks if I want to activate it. I say yes. It spins ans spins and never works. It used to work fine. This problem has been going on for a week or two. I've even uninstalled the unlocker twice now to no avail. WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX THIS?

Doesn't work well with Galaxy S5, if you touch the widget it's supposed to pull up the forecast and there is no response to touch at all. Please fix, I've used this app on other phones and really like it. Would be 4 or 5 stars on a working phone.

I used to love this widget.. its the only time/weather one I've had on my phones. Now suddenly the time doesn't work. The skins still load and there are plenty but the time is broken. I finally took it off my screen but haven't uninstalled in an event it might be fixed.. didn't like any of the others so I have no time or weather now.. boo, hoo.. please fix... have our smart phones outsmarted this widget?

This used to be a 5 star review. Pro key does not unlock anymore. I used to love this on my HTC M8 but now the unlocker does not work on Nexus 6P. Please send me a new license key as the unlocker does not work. Absolutely no answer from the developer. Not a happy bunny

I have been late for work because it changes time in the night. So much for an alarm clock. I am a pro version-was I paid for this & its worked for years but sadly, no longer. Time to move on . Bye bye Fancy widget.

I've had so many issues with paid unlocker errors! You'd think installing regular app then installing unlocker when it asks you to would work. Nope, unlocker error, unlocker error, unlocker error... When it works it's a great app... When it works...

Now I think the developer is not responding to this app I want my money back if the problems ain't fixed, it won't let you customize widgets and animation doesn't work anymore with when unlock phone. All the best features are gone I wouldn't buy until it's shown developer has fixed problems

I really cannot believe there's no way to remove the ugly shadow on the widget text. If you want a minimalist widget app this is not it. A lot of the themes are outdated too and look chintzy.

Paid to unlock and all I get is an error message saying failure to connect to their server, try again later, or just flat out error message. Emailed dev and got no reply. Followed the suggestions on their website for trouble shooting, with no change. I've never had such a problem with any other app like this. Save your money...

If you can get the unlock key to activate, this app has a lot of great extra features. However, I've been trying to get it to activate due several weeks with no success. That's on the developer. If he isn't going fix or support this app, he should stop accepting money. That is just plain unscrupulous.

The skin server and license server are down and the developer is unresponsive. I've switched to Transparent Weather Clock by Droid27. It is functionally equivalent to Fancy Widgets and is actively supported by the developer. DO NOT BUY this unlocker. The unlocker depends on the developers license server and will not unlock the app without it. The license server is down and the developer is not responding to their support email address.

"If you purchased Fancy Widget Pro before, you do not need to purchase this unlocker. You may request a free license key on our website to unlock the full version using your Google/Amazon order information." None of the links on your web site work. I cannot a new license key and the email link does not work

After doing a factory reset on my Galaxy S3, I no longer have access to any of the unlocked features that I paid for. I get an error message when trying to unlock. I tried to get a license key, but the webpage they send you to says "404 Error File Not Found." NOT HAPPY!!!

Very dissatisfied, got new phone and went to install and it won't recognize that I already purchased. Sent email at no reply, will change rating when problem is corrected.

This unlock key doesn't actually unlock the software. Fancy Widgets detects that this key is installed and then tries to contact a server to perform the actual unlocking. Unfortunately the unlocking server is currently inactive therefore preventing any new installs from unlocking. DEAR DEV: It seems you have abandoned this software. If you ever get around to it, please remove the requirement to activate via a server so that your paying customers can still use this software.

At first I was sceptic about the price, but I promise you: this app has so much content and options that you'll spend an hour even getting an overview over the possibilities. Very useful and great looking stuff. Recommended.

Bought this ages ago and just reinstalled it and keep getting connection errors can't unlock. Utter Crap. I'm on wifi.so there should be no connection problems. Either fix this or refund would be nice ill go buy a better one.

I paid for this app and it's a piece of crap. I have sent them 3 emails to fix it. It won't download skins for clock or weather. Most of the time it won't even show a preview of the skins. My recommendation is don't waste your money or your time. This company has ignored my request and i was very professional about it. Not so nice now. The developers are complete idiots. I want this fixed NOW!!!!!!

Nice and simple but no developments in years. Now on S6 the time keeps lagging behind many minutes. Tried reset and no taskkillers. Unusable now.

failed to load skins. WHY!!?? i've had this paid version for awhile and was super happy with it BUT all of a sudden the only content i can load is what i've already download. and sometimes the forecast either won't load or is inaccurate. FIX PLEASE!!

It is ok. Like most weather apps. Nothing more nothing less. But sucks as not only are you verified through Google play but you will have to "try" to verify it through their own system that is more than broken. Atleast I got an error the last time. Usually it just an external wait then.. Nothing..

I've always preferred this app over Beautiful Widgets. People complaining about having to pay from Amazon app should complain to Amazon and not rate the developer down for trying to advance his product and make it easier on people.

I Really like this app. I love to customize my home screen the way I want it to look. I have tried many different clock&weather widgets and this one is easy to use but one thing I can't figure out is HOW DO I CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE CLOCK. YOU CAN CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE TEXT WHT NOT THE COLOR OF THE CLOCK NUMBERS?

Got this and pro version with my first android phone 6years ago! But now no reply from devs. Constant bugs and no updates for ages. Gonna have to install beautiful widgets I think and say bye bye to my money

I liked it, so I purchased the Unlocker. I was automatically billed of course, and received a receipt from Google. But I wasn't sent the key. I tried getting the key from their website, but it kept giving me a 'improper date' error message. I wouldn't recommend that anyone purchase this unless the developer starts providing proper support.

Not worth getting slow crashes and more i would rate this _5 i uninstalled got a better app now cheaper and better in looks and operation requested a refund as this app is not worth the money and should be removed a money grab

I have used the free version of this app for awhile and it was pretty good. I wanted access to all of the skins though, and unfortunately there haven't been new styles in awhile. The main issue though is that I get an "N/A" showing on the weather part quite often. If I manually refresh it goes away but it's annoying to have bugs like that with an app I paid for. The clock will also freeze up or glitch once in awhile. Otherwise it's a decent app.

Clock and weather widgets list fail to load. I purchased the full version and the list of widgets are no longer loading for me to use. Please fix this problem, I loved the widgets they were beautiful. I have the galaxy note 3.

since my very first smart phone. Bought the pro and it's the only one i've used since BUT now... it's not updating the time and/or weather. What happened to this wonderful app?! It used to be FLAWLESS... Wish the developers hadn't given up on this app. :( I hate the thought of using another one. :(

I bought the Pro version and now tried to activate in after doing a factory reset and it won't activate. What's up with that I liked the app spent the money and it doesn't work. I tried to retrieve my license and it just keeps giving me an error. Very disappointed. Don't buy this if you reset your phone or something your out of luck.

I purchased HD Widgets, this is better. For a clock and weather widget there is no better alternative on the market...completely customizable click actions and tons of gorgeous themes! I personally set the location to open maps, weather to open forecast, minute to open browser etc...pretty much a killer home screen launcher as well. I've purchased many apps, so far this is my favorite :-)
