Fancy Widgets

This used to be a good app in earlier versions of Android. Unfortunately, unlike other similar widget apps there is no way to resize a widget once it is placed on the phone screen so on my last two phones the widget doesn't actually fill the top of the screen but rather sits to the left or right, which looks pretty lousy. The widget also cannot be centered unless you are using a custom launcher that allows it. This app really needs to be updated.

This app provides a smart looking full page display with tons of customization choices. The only things I would like to see in future updates are the ability to swap weekly for hourly forecasts. My OCD would like a space to align sunrise and sunset times. LOL

Back to not working, have asked Google numerous times to remove this app from Play store, maybe this time they will. Used to work until today, Now the skin store has quit working and only shows five skins

I used to run this app, but now I am on a 5 space wide device, and the design team hasn't updated the available widgets to adapt to new and changing technology. a 5x2 that centers the 4x2 would be awesome. same for other modes i suppose but this is all I use/want.

At one time Was Positively the best weather clock widget, purchase the full version you will not regret it!!! Geo location was better a few versions back though. It now however is no longer the case hasn't been updated in way too many years now weather alerts do not take you to the actual weather alert, it looks to be abandon Ware.

I'm very disappointed. I've used this for years. I just got a new phone and went to set up my theme I've used for a long time now. I even went into my other phone and looked and saw that all the downloadable themes that use to be there aren't available in the clock market any more. The theme I'm wanting is still on that phone but not available in the market so I can't use it on my new phone. What happened to all the available skins this app use to have?

Very useful widget, love seeing time and weather in one place. EDIT: clock started freezing after the last update or so, currently stuck at 4:08 even though it's 8:38. Can this get fixed?

I purchased the Unlocker when I first installed the app. I had to reinstall the app, and it did recognize that I had purchased the Unlocker. But it would freeze when trying to convert to the paid version. I emailed the developer about the problem, but he never responded.

This was an excellent app when I first installed it a few years back. However, due to its age and the failure to update it to properly interface with current Android tech it is becoming increasingly annoying to use. I loved the options that it has for starting various apps and showing a weather service. These were some of the original reasons for installing it. Disappointed that its becoming outdated.

Love that i can save and back up my favorite clock and weather shins appearance love all the options and custom settings including the animated weather settings this is by far the best weather app i have been using it for years and have carried it over to all my phones that i have had including the s5 s6 and my really old highlight yes that long i will never ever use any other weather app. My phone feels naked without it. the full version is definitely worth buying along with the widget's unlocker

OK, the problems with unlock key disappeared. Now we have a very good app with no update since 2 years. I don't find out any other with so many things & skins

I've used this app for years across many devices and versions of Android. I love it, but development seems to have dropped off as of late. New bugs appear and aren't fixed with each new Android update. The latest, and the reason I've moved away from it, is that if can't be resized to fit the 5-wide layout on my Nexus 6. Still great on smaller devices, though.

I've always loved this weather app because of the wipers and the weather sounds. Installed it on my Samsung Galaxy S5 and I no longer have the sounds. Searched high and low and couldn't find any help with this. If I had the sou DS, I'd give it five stars.

The only difference between the free version and the paid one is a larger amount of available themes. The bad news: the digital clock widget has a bad habit, displaying an unmodified time even for hours. It happened to me on 2 Lenovo phones.

I love that this widget allows you to fully customize and assign any app to its click to launch functions! At first clicking the clock did nothing but I was able to manually assign my clock app as the click action. So many options, including opaqueness and optimizing for data usage. Great job developers!

That's where the good part ends. Neither the weather nor the location are remotely close to accurate anymore. Actual weather is 36 and cloudy this says 54 and sunny. Used to work well. Even on a manual refresh it doesn't work. Tried resetting the app. Still doesn't work.

Weather part of app is useless. Choices are down from what they were and it rarely if ever works anymore. Makes the app useless. Widget icons are displayed way too small and text with everything at default overlaps.

Does what you want. With the new Android update, however, it is not doing anything beyond default. Appearance settings are not responsive. Update: come back! Paid good money for this and rightfully so it's a fantastic app. Come back and make it work properly!

Purchased this expecting to be able to use the skinning functions, but whenever I select any skin, weather or time, the clock stops updating; i.e. if I create the widget at 12:23am, and look at my phone in 5mins it will still read 12:23am when actual system time is 12:28am. Running Galaxy S4 with 4.4.2 KK.

The clock is now 4 mins slow. My daughter uses the same app, yet she has no time delay problems on her phone (Galaxy S6). I have a Galaxy S4. Please fix, I usually enjoy the app.

This has been my go to all for every phone for my last 5 phone and now the time will not update and I'm going to have to go look for another app. Very disappointed!

I've used this widget since I got my first smartphone, which was around 4 years ago, and over the years, whenever I change my phone, this is always the first widget I ever install. It's excellent, period. The developers did a very good job on it, no complains. Hopefully it'll still be here in the future, as all the newer widgets aren't as power efficient and trustworthy as this one. Good work Fancy Widget Dev Team!

I paid for the pro version but for the past few days I have been trying to activate and all I get is a message that unable to connect to server. I have tried contacting and they don't respond. I'm not the only one they ripped off. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY FOR PRO.

This clock is great but the widget temperature does not update unless you swith between weather service providers to actually update. Clicking the refress does nothing even if it does refresh. Please fix and will update score

The last two updates have thrown off the weather accuracy. The app won't refresh correctly. Weather is incorrect, and doesn't change. I have a Sony Xperia TL smartphone on the AT&T network. Please fix issues

The widgets look great, and it worked great for a while. But at some point the clock (and other parts of the widget) stopped refreshing properly so it would have the incorrect time. Kind of makes the widget useless.

I usually don't concern myself with what the weather predictions are, they are hardly ever right any way... But this one is great and looks freaking awesome with all the different options to choose from.

I like this widget. It is nice-looking and very configurable, BUT the time displayed on the clock does not stay with the phone's time. My phone just said 14:28, but Fancy Widgets was still displaying 14:23. That's a 5-minute difference! Why‽ When I tried to get a screenshot, it jumped to the correct time.

Love the look of this clock and weather widget but lately it has been a 21-23% drain on my battery. If you could change the excessive battery drain I'd love to try it again. I don't even use the weather part yet the battery drain for just the clock is too much. I will truly miss this widget!

Unfortunately, they don't get many new themes... had the same choices for years. But, don't get me wrong, there are lots of choices.

Tried all day yesterday & the day before to unlock pro version...without success. Emailed developer, no reply...Not surprised.

I paid for this app years ago when I had the first Samsung Galaxy but they've had the same boring skins and themes ever since. The appearance settings take quite awhile to figure out how to adjust to get the graphic just the way you want it. They seem to just fix bugs along the way as the new OS are improved but not updating their content at all. Now that you can have a 5x5 workspace on the G6 the 4x2 widgets don't fit the screen leaving a full block to either side. Pretty much an old retired app now. :(

No updates in many years, no material desing overhaul, or new features. Maybe dev should open source and make it free.

No updates for almost 2yrs.....great. ...notifications don't work & it doesn't look like it will be fixed. ...I bought the pro version & it is wrong for you to do no fixes.....this sucks

The widgets simply will not refresh, no matter how many times I install/reinstall it. They are ignored by my task killer so I know that isn't the problem. What good is a widget if you have to open it and manually refresh it every single time? I'm a premium user too. Ridiculous.

Got this and pro version with my first android phone 6years ago! But now no reply from devs. Constant bugs and no updates for ages. Gonna have to install beautiful widgets I think and say bye bye to my money

Ok I SO LOVE BEING ABLE 2 SEE THE HUMIDITY. U app developers constantly change things up. WHY WHY WHY When U have a great layout people are happy U tinker with it. I SOOO LOVED THE OLD ONE. THE LIGHT DARK Color for day n night was easy to read. The white n grey gotta go. PLUS you clicked on more info where you see humidity. They all OPENED UP NOW YOU HAVE TO CLICK EACH ONE SO DISLIKE THiS LAYOUT THINKING IF INSTALLING IT.
