Time Wheels is an Android live wallpaper application that installs over your current wallpaper. It is a set of concentric wheels with each wheel representing one aspect of the time. There is a years wheel, months wheel, weekday wheel, hour wheel, 2 minute wheels (one for the 10's digits and one for the 1's digits), a seconds wheel, and a secondhand.

As the secondhand reaches 5 seconds before top center, it "latches on" to every wheel that needs to rotate to reflect the new time. Each latched wheel is rotated in one second increments to top center. Some wheels rotate clockwise, others counter-clockwise. "Mesmerizing" comes to mind while watching 4 or more wheels turn!

Time Wheels has 9 (nine) touch areas that allow you to customize its look. The 1st image in the image views shows where these touch areas are and their functions. Think of a tic-tac-toe shape of boxes (3x3) over-layed on Time Wheels. Each box has a unique function.

The center of Time Wheels has a special function. When the center is double-tapped, the ability to change clock settings is either locked or unlocked. The phone will vibrate indicating that changes can be made or not. If it's locked, then double-tapping will unlock it. If it is unlocked, then double-tapping will "lock and save" the current configuration of Time Wheels. This means the size, location, colors, opacity, and textual displays are stored. Thus, whenever you need to restart your device, Time Wheels will appear exactly as you set it! These settings are saved for both portrait and landscape mode.
Touching the area in the bottom left box of the imagined tic-tac-toe boxes causes a display with a brief description of each boxes function to be displayed.

Colors
The touch areas in the upper-right and lower-right allow you to select from several different colors for the cover of Time Wheels and the displayed text. The colors range through basic dark to light colors. The color selected for the text is also the color used for the secondhand.
Opacity
The touch area in the upper-left controls the opacity of Time Wheels. By doing a "slide" DOWN inside this box, opacity is increased...meaning the wheels become more transparent. Doing a "slide" UP inside this box causes opacity to be decreased...meaning it becomes more visible.
Text Elements
There are 4 different texts displayed on the cover of Time Wheels: Month and day, weekday, statistics, and the time. Each of these text displays can be turned off.
This is done by "touching" them. Think of touching these texts as a toggle on/off switch. You can display any combination you choose. Or none!
The Time can be displayed in 12 hr or 24 hr format. It can also be turned off. The Time display is the only display box that has 3 (three) distinct tap functions.

Resize
Time Wheels can be made larger or smaller. This is accomplished by sliding UP (larger) or DOWN (smaller). The size has both an upper and lower limit.
Relocation
To relocate Time Wheels, unlock changes by double-tapping the center box, then relocate it by placing your finger in the center of the clock and moving your finger to a new location. When it's located where you want, double-tap the center and this position is "saved" and changes will be locked. Couldn't be easier!
