I like how simple this seems. The options aren't complex, but they don't need to be as they give you full control over color and speed/direction. Many backgrounds, live or otherwise, don't really make sense or work well since you can't see them through a ton of icons. This background works great with any amount of icons because there isn't much to focus on, it's just constantly changing.
