Notifyer Unread Count for Android
Not all apps work....and of course the one I needed it the most for WeChat doesn't work... How to fix it?
It doesn't work on Redmi Note 4 with Nova launcher...
Setup is difficult, a video would help. Most of my apps don't show a badge after setup, only a few work. Can't recommend.
utterly useless! once you clear the notification from the status bar the badges dissappear... which defeatsnthenpirposenof this app entirely... stupid concept
Overall very good, however, it would be nice if user could drag the app to the lower 4 app bar on Android, which shows on all pages, could be a feature in the plus version or something. Best!
Fantastic customisation of widgets and great to get notification badges on android. Only improvement would be to give options for launch animations as the current one is from KitKat
Terrible. It doesn't add unread badges it just create new icons.
Unread Count badge stops counting at 7. Even if there are more than 7 messages (WhatsApp), badge gets stuck at 7. HTC One ME dual sim, stock rom LP 5.0.2.
Super... it's works on my Moto g4+. I tried lots of apps but no use. Only one thing each app u want, u go to widget and secelect it.
This is ass every time I I would get a notification on the top of my if I go to another app it will disappear this is ass don't download it
This is a terrible app because it just won't start. I keep getting the notifier widget start-up page but it just freezes & I can't do anything with it. I tried removing it then downloaded it for a second time but it still didn't work. It was a complete waste of time & not even worth one star.
I downloaded this to show a count for my outlook app but it does not show a count at all for it. I uninstalled, rebooted and created a new widget. Sorry but could not make it work although others did
Yes, it works well if you follow the instructions and create the widget! Only problem now is that the widgets can't be saved in the app drawer where I had the phone & messages placed before. No huge deal, though.
I just migrated to android from iphone after 10 years on ios and badge is essential. This widget is cool but any security concerns?
Just tried it out. It worked well to create badges for my texts and calls. It was exactly what I wanted.
Samsung S8 Android 7.0. Doesn't provide any notification of new emails on Outlook which is why I purchased it. Seems OK for Facebook but the Facebook app itself provides notifications anyway.
Whoever invented this app, thank you! Just what I needed for a Moto phone that doesn't have the badge counter and I didn't want to install a whole new launcher. Works awesome with Android 7.1.1, very customizable.. love it!!
Could be a good app but it stalls every hour or so. Have to keep restarting it. Just not reliable and not worth the effort.
This app just work. I have been use it for months and it does what I need, showing notification badge. The icon will be smaller than the normal one but that doesn't bother me.
It is good as I didn't want to change my launcher but some of APPs like outlook will not show any badges, would you please look into it?
Setup is a little clunky and you have to replace all your icons with new Widgets created by Notifyer, but this resolved the badge count concern on my Pixel 2 with Oreo 8.1. I am using Nova Launcher and switched my SMS app to TEXTRA and now get an unread count bubble on the SMS icon. I still do not get a missed call notifications and I've spent hours on this, tried other apps like Ex-Dialer, and still can't get it working. Seriously considering trading in this Pixel 2 for a Galaxy S8. The missing unread count or "badge count" problem with the Pixel and Pixel 2 is ridiculous. Edit: I finally got Missed Call notifications showing up using an app called Smart Notify for $2.50. That and this Notifyer are a decent workaround for now. Good luck everyone!
Love the app. Just what I needed. Earlier I had uninstalled it because I was confused how to set up the widgets. The set up guide after the latest update helped. Thanks.
This app is brilliant and works I've been looking everywhere to get these badges back inc launchers but none worked saw the 3.7 star rating and was unsure but once I worked out how to do it I've never looked back im over the moon once again thx Dev
App is ok....I wanted to hide this app's icon from my apps grid but I couldn't do this. Otherwise good app
Good app but needs improvement. Doesn't seem to work with the Gmail icon (place the widget on the home screen and the widget becomes what you choose eg facebook, Instagram etc) can't "stack" widgets either so having to rearrange my home screen. Other than these issues it does what it says on the tin Edit#1 actual red notification badges in the corner of the widgets seem to have the edges cut off so not showing a full circle. Not sure if just a bug or maybe compatibility with my phone or something Edit#2 not sure what happened in the last update but notification badges are not going away now even after reading notification, locking and rebooting phone. Also no longer working with Instagram and temperamental with FB Pages
Best unread, great for modern launcher without unread feature like nova or apex or n. People with bad reviews are those who don't read help or using bad launchers. Icon can be set and customize. Padding should be launcher feature. Perfect.
Very nice App works as expected. the only Thing i dont understand What ist the difference buying it from here for 1,89 euro (which unlocks all feautures) and the full App for 3,49 which includes all feautures
This is exactly what I was looking for. It shows unread / missed app counts... without installing any other launcher. So far working good... keep up the good work... will review again in a month.
Does the job but the icons are smaller then the normal android ones and the red circles get cut off. With some display changes it could be a really good app!
Perfect for badge notification using the original Google launch screen. I tried a different launcher....too different! This widget has fixed the only aspect of my new android phone that was annoying me (my old android did this automatically)
This app works perfectly and is highly customisable. Having read mamy of the reviews I have to say that most people who gave this app a low score just didn't understand how it works or how malleable it is. Instructions are clear and it works well!
1-2 years ago, I found that my Gmail icon would no longer show notifications when an e-mail came in. Notifyer was exactly what I needed and the substitute icon actually mimicked the Gmail icon, but did show notifications. Everything was working perfectly until about a week ago when suddenly the notification badge updates when new e-mails come in, but does not go back to zero when the e-mails are cleared. If not for that, this is 5 stars easy. Can you please address that problem?
This app is so good! I have a oneplus 5 and was quite annoyed that it didn't have an unread message count feature built in like my S6 did; but this fixed it and all you have to do is replace the app with a widget that can be scaled, customised and everything! You can make it however you want and make it exactly the same as the normal app
Very useful app I've been using for years now. Depending on changes in the android notification system sometimes things break as it did with Nougat, but the developer does his best to fix the issues. Well done!
Icon appears smaller than the stock icon. Looks bad. Can't place icon in the navbar, only main screen. Was excited about this app untill tried it. Hopefully the developers will see this and fix it. Should be integrated into android by default anyway imo.
Worked perfectly until the newest Oreo update. Please fix because I love it.
I have installed a Custom ROM of Lineage OS Based on Android 7.0 on my Galaxy Grand Prime. The one thing I missed a lot was notification count on icons. This App helped me get the desired output. It is very easy to use, A pretty user interface... I loved it.... ????
Awesome app, exactly what I needed. Some negative reviews because you have to exit the setup screen and add a widget to continue. It's confusing some people who think it's broken but it's not. Would give 6 stars if I could. I almost wanted to get a new phone out of frustration because badges are so essential. Thanks!
Since moving from iOS I really missed the Mail app badge count as I, like many others, use my inbox as a to-do list. This app solves this! Recommendations: a more modern less scammy looking app icon. Focus on Gmail app

It does not work on my note 8...don't buy or download
