Loadshedding SA for Android
No load shedding schedules. Installed and Uninstalled it.
There's a little spec on the SA map called Western cape (where the dodgy necleur power station is) that does not seem to feature!!
Not bad
All android users I know experience the same thing: this app crashes whenever you click on a load shedding notification. And whenever you open after that it tries to re-download something that takes forever before opening the app. This has been the case for more than 3 months and the developers haven't bothered to fix it. So they probably never will.
app crashes everythime u try load it. notification pops up to alert about load shedding but whenu try open app to see where it crashes.
Rather download Grid Watch. Not nearly as many updates and it actually works. No force close issues like Loadshedding SA has.
Weak app!
My area is not shown at all and it's very useless
Great app, does what it should do. Been using it for 3 weeks and it's been accurate every single day so far. The tweets are a nice feature and I get updates often to notify me of any changes. People who complain about this app are obviously checking wrong areas or aren't allowing push notifications.
The app gives the information it should at the current moment, but could use a little more. A predictive schedule would be nice (however, with Eskom's ever-changing times and stages I don't blame the developers for avoiding such a feature). It would also be nice if the app could store your location rather than needing you to enter it every time you want to quickly check for the next power cut. Finally, it would be nice if the app could automatically keep track of the current stage to avoid inconvenience.
Why should I have to update the app in order to receive notifications. Just doesn't make sense to me. Overall I have no other negative feedbacks to give about the app.
I haven't been able to use it once. Keeps on 'stopping' . Uninstalling now.
Loving the loadshedding planner
Working perfectly! Thank you!
In it self the app is good. I like the push message giving possible load shedding stages. Updating is a real killer. Have to wait upto 5 min for the cache to rebuild everything the app is updated !!? As a programmer myself is see this as unacceptably long. There must be a more efficient way. If this is resolved the will 5 stars.
Should be installed by all south Africans hoping to plan their day around load shedding. I like the morning notification stating the likelihood of load shedding for the day.... Which gives hours of warning (unlike eskom - which randomly flips the switch as you get in the shower)
Sad that we need this but thanks to dev for the effort, good layout, and frequent updates for accuracy, also reported an error and was fixed on next update
Just hoping that this ap is spot on so we the public aren't in the dark!!
Diffucult to see schedule for specific areas! Ads inside the app is definately a deal breaker
Appreciate the effort and it's free. Don't worry about the 1 star ratings. Keep up the good work. Thank you developer
No search functionality, no user profile, no alerts, no point in downloading...
Useless app :(

Under Western Cape only Cape Town is listed, kind of useless if you don't live in Cape Town.
Mooi
I update once a week as more areas are covered. Thanks for the effort!
This app is usefull will give it a 5 star if the Eskom direct customers area is also listed
Please add to your list of areas for KZN.
What's the use of the App if you can't use the actual app to see schedules? Why constantly redirect to a website? It would be great to have the schedule on the APP to plan routes and diaries. What a waiste.
When Gauteng- City Power is selected and my area Parkhurst, and I return to the Home screen, it reports the current state (Stage 1) & the day of the week, but nothing else. No times, no confirmation that Parkhurst is displayed (which is not scheduled for today stage 1). Needs work as City Powers website is more accurate!
Not very helpful. Does not have, or I could not find any info for western cape
We are into loadshedding, but the app still shows no loadshedding. The page has not updated.

Don't say SA if its only Gauteng pls!
No load shedding schedules. Installed and Uninstalled it.
