Magnesium Launcher is a revolutionary launcher for Android which indexes items on your device and lets you quickly search through them at any time. You can also search for email messages, RSS / Atom feed posts, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter social media posts for accounts that you have added using the launcher settings.

Indexing and Search
Magnesium Launcher indexes a number of items on your device, as well as posts from configured RSS feeds and social media accounts in order to speed up search. You can exclude items that you do not wish to see in your search results using the launcher settings.

Usage Tips
● Swipe from the left hand side of your screen when the universal feed is active to access the quick navigation menu
● Long press an app in the app dock to select a favourite app for that position
● If you do not wish to use Gmail OAuth, and you get an authentication failed error when trying to add a Gmail account with a valid password, you may need to enable access for less secure apps. Please refer to https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255?hl=en
Known Issues
● Some app icons displayed within a folder icon end up looking blurry after creation/update.
● Unable to scroll the app list while dragging an app

Okay enough launcher, but it uses a lot of data. According to the usage tracker, within a week it ate up 2gb of data. Which to me is a tad excessive. *edit* I had 1 Gmail account and one personal account that barely have high traffic, and a twitter and facebook account. The apps I normally use for these things don't reach that amount of data. So I'm not quite sure where the traffic came from.

How do I add Social Media accounts? There's no Settings or Options button.

after I installed this launcher and change from my stock launcher to this launcher after 3 or 4 minutes my stock launcher back again to default and exit from this launcher .... the problem fix now

"You am not a sandbox user of this client", that's the error message Instagram gives me when I try to add it to my feed. Isn't there a way to submit your app for reviewing to Instagram so it'll work with it?

It's a simple launcher that could use some more features. Adding Google calendar, reminders and tasks to the feed would have me set this guy as default. Currently running Business Calendar 2 with Action Launcher. Not sure how reminds, calendar events and tasks would fit into the stream other than when tasks are incomplete they show at the top, reminders show at their appropriate times as do calendar events and then are hidden once completed or past their designated end time.

I know this isn't the goal of this particular luncher but I just like visual options and tweaks.(ex: icon pack, etc) Keep going back to my Nova luncher but I really enjoy the feed on my home screen... Keep up the good work!

I've just downloaded Magnesium & after some testing, I'd like to share my feedback. 1: really nice take on the launcher/homescreen topic - quite lightweight & offers more features as compared to other contextual launchers like KISS Launcher. 2: would be nice to have the following options: - select which screen is the default one - the searches should work the same regardless of the screen it's operated in, for example, searches in the app drawer should also go through contacts etc - inability to deselect web searches in the free version makes the search feature useless, as web searches swamp the results & are often prioritized as compared to device results - search engine should be configurable due to privacy concerns (most common ones should be added: for example duckduckgo, startpage, bing, google, yandex) - the free/paid model should be revised - I have a feeling you're too bent on monetizing the app/features Keep up the good job!

I like the new app drawer, but it seems to be bugged. On my Nexus 6P it has room for one more app but I can't seem to stick anything on it. Overall, I like where this launcher is heading.

People don't like to give access to Facebook or Twitter so it would be great if magnesium can show new pictures,notes, downloaded apks or recently used apps and the weather is not working
