NOTE1: This theme won't be updated for other cyanogenmod versions. Support ends with CM11.
NOTE2: You need root and a custom rom like Cyanogenmod 9, 10, 10.1, 10.2 and CM11 to use this theme. If you don't know what I'm talking about please don't download this theme because you won't be able to use it.

Black android! This is DarkHolo theme for Cyanogenmod CM9,CM10,CM10.1,CM10.2,CM11 and other custom roms. This theme is like the stock holo theme, but with dark/black backgrounds, black panels, dialogs and widgets. This theme will always be free, so if you want to support me you can buy one of my paid themes or the donate version.
FEATURES:
-black backgrounds for apps that depend from Theme.Holo of framework (like various menus,settings,downloads,some stock browser's parts,dsp manager,torch and much other)
-black panels,dialog and popups
-many dark apps like dialer, contacts, messagging, clock..
-etc
COMPATIBILITY:
-DarkHolo theme actually is compatible with XHDPI,HDPI,MDPI,LDPI devices (should be compatible with all devices)
(As I own only a device, send me a mail if there are problems)
INSTRUCTIONS:
-Apply theme in theme chooser and reboot.
-If it says "Sorry this theme is missing assets for your device" apply anyway and reboot.
-if it says "This theme is incorrectly compiled" apply default theme,reboot,apply DarkHolo, reboot.

Thank You very much for this AMOLED friendly theme! But there is bug on CM11 calendar App: Black font on black background which make menu items unusable. Please inform me once you fix this so I can continue using this style.

probably the best minimalistic black theme for holo lovers out there. there are some minor issues but still good enough for everyday use.

This theme is basic and great. Everything is themed black, except for GooglePlay, which seems to be resistant to theming! Great job anyway! PS: I am using a recent CM11 nightly with Paranoid Android's GoogleApps

Just turns the contacts and dialer dark, which is what I need since the rest of the apps I have already have some sort of dark mode. [EDIT]: Turns out it's an upstream Textra or CM11 bug. What I had to do to avoid the pale background was switch Textra styles.

This theme is awesome, it is my favorite on CM10. While it is also one of my favorites on CM11, I'd love to see a version of this theme where the blue elements of the Holo UI get replaced with white elements, to match the black and white look of CM11.

I love this theme. It is 1 of the only themes I could find and worked and turned everything dark. Especially the google play store. Though in the store the reviews is all black all the wording and everything. So I can't see the reviews of apps or related apps. Very annoying. Please fix. I have a galaxy s2 skyrocket running beanstalk kitkat. Also is OT possible to make Amazon app dark?

This theme is beautiful and is exactly what I was looking for. And not only does the black look good, it is perfect for AMOLED screens. Also, I e-mailed the developer with a question and he responded nearly immediately with a solution for me.

Exactly what I wanted, a simple dark theme version of the default CM11 theme. Dialer and SMS messages are simple and easy on the eyes.
