HD Widgets

So far, after trying a plethora of clock/weather widgets, I haven't found one (aside from the Android system clock widget) that properly stays in sync with the system title bar clock. All of the others eventually simply stop updating (yes, I've configured battery optimizations). Then, a post found via Google, put me on to this. It works exactly as it should. Not sure why no one else seems to be able to figure this out, but now I don't care. Well worth the price. (Android 6.0 Blu Vivo XL).

Compared to all other widgets like zooper, uccw, xwidget, kwgt, buzz widget etc.. This is a joke. And I paid for this. It's not like it's a free version. 4 font choices and you can't adjust or change anything other than their few presets. I'm just amazed at how basic this is. I don't hate it but I'm not in any way impressed either.

No complaints until the latest update. Whenever I go to the weather details now it asks for access to my notifications. Another reviewer was told it was a result of Google's merging of a permission they use to turn the ringer on/off. Since I never use this feature I should be able to refuse the request. However, the only way to avoid the constant request is to grant access. There is no way to refuse access even if I don't use the feature. I'm tired of lazy app developers demanding too much access.

The widget look is very attractive.My problem is that I keep traveling between 3 cities, and the widget can show only one city. I cannot switch between the cities from the widget itself. One more issue, when I click on the forecast to see the details or refresh the forecast, it keeps trying to refresh forever, unless I exit and open it again. Once more thing I would like to have, is the ability to see the weather status right from the lock screen. Must I unlock in order to see this bit of public info?

Ive been using this for about 5 years as my standalone homescreen and its always worked great. What id love to see in this app is support for canadian weather services (i.e: the weather network). American weather really drops the ball for my region. Thanks HD widgets team keep up the good work.

The time doesn't display correctly all the time. I've got to open the app to sync it correctly every so often, but still everyday. Otherwise, this app is awesome. Flick you two extra stars if you can find a way to resolve it. Edit: First time updating in a while, time is still unsynced from actual time. I had to pay for this...

This latest version takes really long after booting up to come up. I would rather it have it boot a cached version and have it update later so i don't get a blank widget. Also you need to offer Pixel like widget styles and start supporting 1440p res not just 1080p and later 4k

Pretty nice app. I bought it years ago when it was pretty lacking. After playing with Beautiful Widgets, nothing really appealed to me so I returned to HD Widgets. To my surprise, the options were plentiful and I could customize my header widget almost any which way! Promptly uninstalled Accuweather and Beautiful Widgets afterwards. I couldn't find an option to save unactive widgets. Would be nice to have this feature! 4 stars.

I'm with the other people who have been complaining about the widget freezing up (clock & icons ) I like the app it's the only one I like. I have emailed you twice. Thank you for your update!

After last update the clock shows the wrong time. And the single widget I use to switch WiFi no longer turns green when wifi is on

Consider this app Abandoned. As evidenced by how long it took to fix Google Permissions issue. Now Devs don't respond to bug questions. Weather no longer connecting to weather providers at scheduled times. Often fails to refresh weather even manually. This WAS a good app. Sad!

Location is broken all of a sudden after three years of using this. It will only show correct location. Experiencing this on both Pixel XL and Note 5. It displays am error saying that there is no network connection when clearly LTE has full bars. Maps, Yahoo weather, and every other app that uses location works just fine. Will go back to 5 stars when this is addressed.

Nobody wants a crappy looking home screen, so I've tried almost all of the other weather apps on the market and nothing comes close 2 HD.! Plus you can't beat the accuracy of the weather information from HD! Still the best on the market, needs a refresh though to keep up with the competition...

Glad I decided to give it another chance!! I've tried others and they not as nice and some don't keep time as well!

HD WIDGETS HAS NOT WORKED PROPERLY FOR OVER 6 MONTHS. DEVELOPER ALREADY HAS OUR CASH AND DOESN'T GIVE A FIG NOW. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS AS IT SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK.

If you are looking for a Time widget App so you can have more variations and options to cater to various themes on your phone and you just want one, I recommend spending your money on Beautiful Widgets, you get way more than this limited time widget and the clarity of the time is just as good, if not better.

Luv the variations, colors, neon would be nice... Here I am. December 2016 still contending this is the Best!

Please stop asking for notification access, it's very annoying. Apart from this, I love the app, would give 5 stars.

Widgets are randomly disappearing usually after a phone call and i cannot find them in the widgets menu either, i have to manually start the app for them to show up in the menu, then i have to reinstall them on the homescreen.

***UPDATED*** Thank you for removing the notification window! It is very much appreciated for long time customers like myself who use this app on the daily!

The clock is stuck and does not update. Free apps do better than this. Waste of money.

Have used it for years and really liked it but now on my new phone (oneplus 3t) the time on my clock widget keeps getting stuck, so annoying. Makes it unusable

Have had this for few years, can't see why people rave about it. Lately does not automatically detect where you are, does not have transparent Google toolbar etc. Does not appear that developers have done anything with it in long time, is dead app? I initially purchased this app, would I purchase again.... NO!

The app is great when it works however running on android 7.0 on my oneplus 3t the widget doesn't Update the time so it will be hours behind what the real time is.

Love the customized buttons, weather and display options. It's always worked for me across Nexus 4, 5 and 5X.

It's been working great for the last 4 years with the app, until the beginning of December. All of my widgets work except for my weekly weather 4x1 widget. Has not updated since Dec 15, no matter how many times I refresh the app or clear the cache.

Have been fond of this app on all of my Android devices. It is fitting to spend a small sum to support the developer. On s7 edge

Shows that the developer gives a damn about users :)

Especially after recently removing certain unsettling system permissions.

After recent update ringer vibrate switch became unresponsive. Re-adding it does not help. Very disappointed as this switch was the only reason i purchased this app.

Design is great but gives me incorrect temp all the time, also very limited on locations, got fed up with this app, and bought weatherzone plus

Application freezing intermittently when scrolling through weather locations rendering it basically useless.

Credit to the dev for listening to their users and fixing the notification permission requests. Back to 5 stars and running the latest version.

Been using this for so many years, very well designed and thought out. Would be nice to have an option to save custom designs.

After over a year, finally updated. Adding a star, will add more if proves stable.

Shows incorrect time. Wrote about it to the tech support and got no response or bug fix after 2 months.

The app won't work on my Note 3 or my Note 5. Three days ago contacted them for help; following their instructions to use the feedback form within the app, with their promise to get back immediately, they care about customers, blah blah blah all that. Well, three days so far and not a word. I've contacted them three times in the three days, in case my initial email was list somehow. No response. They obviously don't care about me so I don't care about them either - uninstalling and finding an app that works EDIT: It's now been five weeks, sent them multiple emails, tried calling, finding them on social media, to no avail. No response from them, app completely inoperative, I give up. Need a refund.

Great app. Can I get rid of the up and down temperature arrows on my widget? I just want the actual temperature. Thanks.

The switch to turn on/off vibrate no longer works.
