About Phone Events Widget
Due to a change in Android Lollipop (version 5) this app might stop working (messages could not be shown) but I have programmed another version which is compatible.
Widget that displays recent received messages, and other types of events. Allows to see what is happening on the phone on a fast and easy way: missed calls, SMS messages, Internet messages calendar events, etc. It also has several customization options.
To make it work you have to go to settings and activate the accessibility service. A message appears in red on the widget with instructions provided so that you remember to turn on the service if it is disabled.
This application has almost no battery consumption. It is very light.
This application's name has changed several times. It is possible that you have found it with the names "What's happening Widget" or "Messages Widget".

Buggy. Touch a displayed calander event and the apps says it can't find it. SMS useless with pop up notification active. Doesn't show email. Good start. Could be so much better.
