Threes! for Android
I heard about the clones and reviews about Threes itself. I decided to give the right credit to where its due. Plus, you don't know what shady free apps can do to your phone.. Great game to pass time while commuting. Can load own music and play at the same time too! :) also able to play while on airplane mode in flight! Cool!
Great game - lots of fun. However, it constantly interrupts my games to ask for access to my profile information. I keep pressing 'deny', but it keeps asking. There is no reason for the app to know this information. If the user says 'no', stop asking! If it wasn't for this issue, I'd give the app 5 stars.
I started to play 3s in my free time years ago, I have never one found myself board with it, even if it doesn't end up being the only game I play, it has stood the test of time admirably
Been playing this game for years, but never truly understood the probabilities of this game. When a new number comes and there are ex. three spots availble, is the probability for it to come the same for all of them, because it seems like it's most likely to come to spot that has been recently opened by connecting two numbers. Think you got me, great game though.
I found Threes years ago on the web, downloaded a knockoff (because it wasn't on Android yet), then had so much fun that I had no problem dropping money on the real app as soon as it hit the Play Store. It's challenging, but the short rounds make it easy to keep trying for higher scores. Still play it almost every day.
If you wanna hear something creepy. Play this game while connected to blue tooth. Sound glitches out and plays in like a slowmo and it is so weird and creepy.
Have been playing this amazing game forever but lately the updates are getting annoying. It is impossible to get used to a tile pattern, they keep changing the algorithm too often and instead of improving i am actually getting worse! Please bring the og algorithm back these new ones are a pisstake.
game is good but paid versions has audio issues. audio is lagging as if slowed each sound is being slowed to a crawl. free version didn't have this problem.
I don't play many mobile games but this one is amazing.
Excellent game and time waster! Strongly dislike the sound effects, however - thank goodness they can be turned off! Superior to 2048 (which is based off this game) in every way.
Love love love love the game. But can you please add color options in the options? I play this game to kill time and looking at the same colors for years is boring.
Like the title says, under 5.1.1 switching apps then going back into threes causes the nav bar to go black but still be there, in marshmallow it doesn't happen (same with YouTube) but it'd be nice if it were fixed in lower versions of Android too.
Was a fun app. Has turned into garbage. One space moves? Really? And I PAID for what was once a good game. What a shame.
Love Threes on xbox 1, and now I can rock it on the go. It's a fantastic game that's addictive as hell... if you're into puzzle games... buy it. Can't speak to how it runs on a cell phone, but it's quick n easy/hard the deeper you go. At this price you can't go wrong. Unless it's buggy as hell. UPDATE: Games not buggy, runs fantastic on my Galaxy S5. Happy to know it runs like it does on xbox 1, only touch screen instead of a controller.
So I bought the paid version for no ads and unlimited play. It is freezing everytime I try to play. Can't make it through a full game. Getting frustrated and considering a refund. Update... Tried a few more games and same problem. I'll purchase again if this is fixed. Moto X Pure
Too many cheap imitators! Threes is engaging, challenging, and fun. I love being able to immerse myself in the problem/puzzle solving threes throws at you. Also I don't hate myself for getting wrapped up in the gameplay because I am actuay flexing my brain rather than time wasting or escaping from reality.
Love to play it when I don't want to play anything else. definitely makes you think about your next few moves. sometimes it crashes, but I have a feeling it's just my scrappy phone. thanks for the awesome game guys!
Very disappointing to have to start all over. When upgrading you stated you would transfer my scores from the free version. But, you didn't. Emailed the dev but no response. So disappointing.
I just want to play a game, not interested in having to type my name in every time I finish a level. Kinda annoying. Also the next piece indicator has lied to me a few times. Besides that, a fun game
This game at first glance looks like 2048. It really isn't though. The music is fun, and the voices are adorable. Threes is more than a cute version of 2048 however, the game itself is much different.
This game has the charm to win you over, and the strategy to keep you playing. From the quirky music to the absurd characters to the enjoyable and rewarding concept, Threes is a winner, and my go-to puzzle game whenever I have some time to fill.
Threes and I have a complicated relationship... Let's just say I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it maybe around 5 times now. The shortest time I have lasted uninstalled was less than 12 hours.
I really enjoy Threes, but opening it kills whatever audio I'm listening to 90%+ of the time, either immediately or in the first few minutes. Internet radio, streaming music, downloaded podcasts, all have the same results. I've been playing Sage Solitaire instead, it only affects audio playback about 5-10% of the time. I prefer Threes slightly, but the memory takeover is not worth it.
Good thing the statistics doesn't show how many hours I've sunk into this... Give me my life back! BTW, the only thing that bothers me is that the sync-ing of high scores seems erratic. Sometimes it correctly retrieves my scores, other times it displays much lower scores. Worst of all, I once reached a score >90k but it never registered :-(
I found Threes years ago on the web, downloaded a knockoff (because it wasn't on Android yet), then had so much fun that I had no problem dropping money on the real app as soon as it hit the Play Store. It's challenging, but the short rounds make it easy to keep trying for higher scores. Still play it almost every day.
A recent update now prompts you for your name every time you finish a game. That should be optional. As it stands, it's needless swiping to back out of that screen in order to begin a new game.
Great sound, decent gameplay. The stats section had several defects, and won't record scores accurately over time. That's okay when you're not paying for a game, but isn't professional when you're all in.
There are just enough elements in this game that you can think about it and strategize instead of mindlessly swiping up and right. Endlessly replayable, totally worth the money. And, it's super cute!
I'm obviously the odd one out here but I just do not feel this game. I could be missing the point completely but this seems to have a larger part to do with luck than skill and doesn't appear to have any depth Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think I am.
If you're down to the wire it likes to give you all of one color or place the blocks in the wrong open spot to screw you over. An undo button would be nice.
I really enjoy the game, it's a great time-waster, but after playing for 5 minutes or so, the game starts to bog down my phone and can become unplayable. The devs need to focus on being more resource friendly.
3 times now ive got a 768. Days later it's disappeared from the stats. Rather annoying.
I don't play many mobile games but this one is amazing.
Love this game and it worked perfectly on my S4 but it has a major glitch on my S6. The game registers slides in the wrong direction frequently - for example trying to slide upward results in a left slide. Ruins games. (Yes, I checked my screen mechanics on several similar games and no issues.)
The presentation and original ideas in Threes (the original) warrants a purchase.
Great game, it's a shame that 2048 (a rip off of threes) is getting more attention. Some people even think that 2048 came first.
After a clean factory reset the performance just got a lot better on my phone, it used to stutter a little but now it's running at ~60fps.
Beautiful design that flows well. They use a lot of data and haven't told me why. Works on airplane mode so the data obviously isn't vital.
This game belongs on every device. Great little puzzle game with quirky graphics and great sound design. Can be played for hours or minutes, and will keep you hooked either way.

It's nice to pay for a game and enjoy it ad free with no in-game purchases. One of the reasons I bought this game. Other companies like ZeptoLab (cut the rope) are destroying the mobile gaming experience. Anyways, this game is really fun, challenging, and addictive. Thanks for playing fair.
