New Star Soccer G-Story

This is really good, well done to Five Acres Publishing Ltd. A fantastic follow up to the original NSS. Only things I dislike in this app are that its way to much reading, and very little choices and game time. Also, I finished the entire thing in only 2 hours so if you could consider making it longer that would make it 5 stars. Keep up the good work!

Honestly I love NSS, all they have to do is take the classic one (none of these 3d graphics which feel so much clunkier and has less personality) and expand the story aspects of that in a balanced way. This is way too story focused and you don't care anywhere near as much for the character as you do about your avatar in NSS

Better than The Journey. This is a decent game but an even better concept. Had it been longer I would whole heartedly recommended it but unfortunately due to the the ending I have to say it is a disappointment, It's still a great game but it lacked any finish, If they were to add extra episodes and make this free with that as DLC then This would be the best game ever since the combination is great but the execution not as much. TLDR If they add Episodes and make it free GET IT!

Nice game for someone who wanted lots of drama in their game. I like the butterfly effect when making choices. Its a nice game if youre looking for a light gameplay and lots of story. The story could be improved but overall its a nice game.

Quite enjoyed it but where's the football?! Also, very short. Got selected for an international but it won't let you play?! Needs things like relegation, bans, possibility of being a goalkeeper? Please please update this cos I do like the idea of this but needs a hell of a lot more improvements!

I liked the original new star soccer and I like this one but the game is way too short I was able to complete it in a matter of hours. Waste of time and money

90% of this is reading a boring book. But the gameplay is completely different to nss as it has a real story or feel to it. But its way too short.

I really liked the original nss but this is just boring. It has really poor writing and I ended up just skiping the writing

Games playing havoc with my keyboard it keeps keyboard on screen when i edit my name etc, i've also tried other keyboards and still lags terribly

Very good idea and all but is a very short game if they ever thought to bring a new one or a big update it should be to make it last more than an hour

This would've gotten 5 stars if there were waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy more chapters, but overall I love it.

only 19 chapters as soon as im getting into it it finishes didnt get to make any big decisions but all in all its alrite just far too short would give it 5 stars if theres a sequal or was longer

Good but not enough gameplay throughout, after the end of the story I expected it to be like the previous game where you could compete in the league instead of finishing the story.Also the story was decided no matter how good or bad you play. However the gameplay had good mechanics and the story was quite interesting.

Great game, but not enough game play, and the way it ends is total rubbish, after I got called up to England I thought it would continue to next season but it just ends after half a season, I will give 5 stars when the story is longer and u make more decisions.

The most boring, pointless, underachievement of game making I have ever seen. Developers should be ashamed. £3 quid wasted. Gameplay minimal. Might as well be reading a bloody boring terrible book that has some insight to hair gel and cars. Considering the last one was fun to play. This one is pure dog ****

Thought it was going to be an update on the original. What a load of used dish water! Just a pointless story with the odd snip of game play. Wasted my money on this junk.

I wouldn't buy it again unless it has an option to play it like the original NSS i liked the graphics but not the story part

A real shame. The original NSS was brilliant but this is more like a book than a game. A lot of reading (over 1000 pages) and very little actual play. The story ends very suddenly and there is no real progression. Not worth the money unfortunately.

I love New Star Soccer and I thought this was a great idea for a game but it doesn't live up to expectations. There main issue is the lack of gameplay and decisions. You spend 90% of the time reading. This wouldn't be an issue but the writing style is extremely clichéd and boring. You need more gameplay to balance this out but it just isn't there. I quit at Chapter 6. Maybe it gets better but I'm not interested enough to find out.

Way too easy if youve already played original new star soccer. Way too short you litteraly play about 10 games and the results are pre determined no matter how bad you play (i litteraly tried missing every shot and pass and it gave me the exact same results as when i played well) too much reading and no matter how bad you are youll still get called up to the first team instead of actually progressing in the game. Waste of money.

To say I'm disappointed with this is an absolute understatement...when I first saw this game come out I was majorly excited as I am a MASSIVE fan of nss...but to sum it all up in a short review the game is WAY to short ...it feels like a lite version instead of a full game ...you can complete the game in a mere few hours and there is no replay value ...I'd ask for a refund but I doubt the developers even care ...do not buy this game at all ...

Such a great narrative and a fantastic idea. Only 19 chapters and in the end you get to play a handful of matches. Then it ends as you get an international call up. Unless this is going to update with another 'volume' then it's a waste of time. I thought I'd have a go at playing for England but that was put to rest with THE END! really good game and story but waaaay too short.

Amazing I loved the combination of the game/book. It was definitely worth the money!

Completed in 2 days. Great game and concept needs more seasons adding for a full career.

The gameplay is phenomenal (soooo much better than in NSS) but it's just way too short. I seriously hope there will end up being more to this because as it is it feels very unsatisfactory. Just as I'm starting to get into the story- bang! It's over!

Its a great game its an enhanced version of nss but its just too heavily based on the book side of this game

Eh, it takes away a lot of what I liked about NSS. I can't do stupid things like score from corners, and the writing is pretty mediocre. But I liked the idea of a narrative.

Brilliant app. Massive fan of the original and this takes the game to the next level!

It focuses too much on the story, which would be okay if the story was good but it's not... It's really cliché. Just stick to the good part of the game, the actual gameplay!
