You can play this game without spending any money, not sure why other people think otherwise? Its like New Star Soccer where you have manage your energy carefully at the beginning of the game, but after a few seasons you're rolling in cash. It's quite hard at the beginning but that's fun! The way some of the tournaments operate seems a bit strange though. PLEASE MAKE NEW STAR TENNIS!!!

Extremely expensive. 0.89€ for one energy drink ( Enough to play one match or update one of your skills)? Come on , I'm happy to pay to enjoy the game or even watch ads or wait for the energy to refill, but this is just a joke. I am just about to uninstall it , but will keep my eye on the app because it is really good and fun. I'm not paying 5€ a day though, to play the game , its way too much.

This game has...had so much potential and agree with a lot of others with the loss of energy per match. It doesn't reflect well on the developers because it prevents users from truly enjoying what could of been a great game. Just seems as though the games been made to ensure users have to spend $ constantly to keep on enjoying the game. Come on developers update the game and fix the same issues that many reviewers are all saying

It's designed to take as much of your hard earned cash as possible. Constantly need energy drinks and your salary just doesn't keep up with the cost if you pay for the full ad free version then this shouldn't be as bad as if playing for free....

It has the potential to be a lot of fun. Instead it's pathetic. Trying to field and run out a batsman especially so, routinely my player has to run to the other side of the field to get the ball, by which time the batsman is safely home. There was never any chance of the run out yet I lose ratings points. Utterly unfair

As a fan of New Star Soccer, there's a lot to like here and a similar approach that takes you through a sporting career. Plenty of hours of play and a great casual game for dropping in and out. It's easy to understand and play and there is variety with resource mgmt, skills training, contracts etc. and matches. Most of the downsides are in the actual match gameplay. Batting interactions are limited to a few shots per innings and it's possible to hit a good shot that goes off screen but you are awarded no runs. You can also hit a ball into space on screen and be prevented from trying for a quick run. The ability to try and run from any hit would be good. The in-match opportunities for catches and run outs offer some variety. So, good for a free to play game, but a few drawbacks on the matches themselves.

I don't know what all the complaints are about. Great little game that's fun and as with real cricket, timing the ball brings its rewards. I don't play it that often but I have got 20000 odd runs and my girlfriend left me because of it

I really like this game. It is realistic, hard and also very addictive. My only bad thought of it is that it is very hard to get money. Please make it easier. I spend my coins on energy drinks! Otherwis a great game

So... you do everything right and it doesn't work. Gravity is all to pot on the catching - sometimes the ball floats... sometimes it plummets like you're on Jupiter... you bowl *perfectly* and spin the ball and still it flies pass your useless fielder for a 6. You throw perfectly at the wicket and... oh... "failed". But darn it... I still keep playing so... I guess it's for some serious addictive quality!

Firstly, when I'm trying to bowl the ball the game thinks I'm trying to spin it, so it takes me about 5 mins to bowl it. Secondly, when I pick up the ball in the field and I'm swiping to get to it, I have no time to stop swiping and I overthrow it for 4. It has the makings of a great game and I love cricket and NSS but I feel like they've rushed the making of this game and it's very dissapointing and frustrating. Needs an update quick smart!

Really enjoyed the game, but recently when I bowl I bowl from an angle. This means that my strong suit is now useless!!! And the fielding dynamic is good but annoying, there is no way to tell where the ball is going. Plus you drag back to throw forwards, so if when you drag to run and pick up the ball you throw it instantly behind you. But really love the game!

My character made 150 runs.. but I only had 4 shots all match. U spend all time reading and using up energy without playing!!!!!

Exploitative. Purchased upgrades expire after a ridiculously short time and you can never get ahead of the rising cost of necessary items without spending real money. The cynical cash-grabbing ruins the fun gameplay and nice graphics. Uninstalled on day one.

Greedy Devs! I can only give this 2 stars as the costing of the game makes progression almost impossible. It costs more to refill your energy than you can make most matches. The whole game is set up to make you sink money into it, yet it is also full of ads (greedy devs) it is a real shame. I originally purchased new star soccer and that was at first a very fun and enjoyable game then the devs made it pay to win like this and have ruined two very good games! Oh yeah and to finish it off the delete your save button is located in a fun place that allows you to delete your progress when trying to open a game. Don't waste your time with this rubbish!!!

Had potential but sadly it's only achieved 3 stars. Firstly the prices on the stuff you can buy is ridiculous, especially on energy drinks they often rise, when the drinks are vital to maintain good relationships and perform well. Also, the way the game evaluates your performance isn't very good, as any ball that doesn't result in a wicket is considered "poor" and if you don't run someone out (this is very difficult to do in the real game) it rubs off very badly on your score which isn't fair. The batting game play is very good, which almost saves the game in my eyes. The text and rolling commentary idea is also pretty good, but this game could be a lot better if it wasn't so orientated, which, ironically is quite realistic to many sports????

Really enjoyed it. It got a bit samey but that's true of every sports game. What's next? New Star Snooker? New Star Golf? Please don't do American football or rugby

I have no problem with the game play, problem is with how many bux's things cost!!! Game is trying to make me spend my own cash to progress which is a major downer!!! But like the idea of the game!!! Has alot of potential with a few tweaks!!! Would love to see them make a rugby game like this!!!!

What a piece of crap. Do not bother, the cost of energy after only a hours play will outstrip money you get in, controls are fiddly, not just pay to win just pay to be able to play.. When I bowl and there is a catch my auto fielders 80% of the time will drop the ball. Last time I looked a ball that hits the rope on the full is a six.. Not in this game it happens far too often and is only scored as a four. If you miss time a stroke even by just a fraction it will fly straight to a fielder no matter where they are standing and you will be out.. Even when you have max skills in batting.very poor porgraming

Great concept (love new star soccer) but let down by two mini games. Batting and catching are sometimes tricky but always possible. Unfortunately bowling and fielding are occasionally impossible (I mean literally you are presented with a no win scenario), which is incredibly frustrating. At times bowling and fielding have positionings that mean you cannot possibly succeed due to edge of the screen restricting your control. Why put all the effort into the game to go and screw it up with just an obvious mistake? Disappointing. Gamers want challenge, not an impossible task. Will stick to new star soccer.

I've only played for a short while and was enjoying it initially but realised quickly that this is the type of game you have to pay real money in order to do well. Your energy depletes rapidly and replenishes slowly, and the energy drink costs spiral when you "level up" at a rate exceeding your wages. Then there's keeping your "lifestyle" up to scratch which is expensive and degenerates over time, requiring repairs and your stats even degenerate too if you don't train them for a while. The developers got greedy with New Star Soccer, forcing you to have to pay in order to keep your pro progressing and they've brought that same model here. It's disappointing because it could be a great little game but it's far too microtransaction heavy.

Its a Good Game but could be grater its just the fact that enegry is the main concern i love playing it but need to buy energy evertime and its annoying i dont buy energy wuth real money only game money but you need to fix this you are loosing gamers just because of this

Nice game though it's let down by the fielding aspect. No indication at all of where the ball will go, a rough idea would be good and when bowling the ball sometimes bowls on its own which can be annoying. Energy drinks cost too much when compared to the wages offered, much more than the football version. Overall very good concept and execution but let down by one aspect (unnecessarily) and this would be easy to fix.

Fun, but the value of gold is pretty iffy, heavily leaning on free to play elements. And the fielding aspects are just not fun at all.

Love the new colour theme and graphics! I even didn't know how play Cricket but I love it. I hope you guys can develop the soccer one like this!

Not as good as the football. bowling is awful why is my player pitching sometimes off the wicket or so far wide that I can't get close to the stumps. Batting is more based on run rate rather than total runs. Okay game but certainly room for improvement and not as good as the football version

Great game however the rising costs of the energy drinks completely outstrips the energy drops and salary increases. Just won Div 4 stayed at the same side and we are still in div 4?

So, a great concept and gameplay ruined by a pay to play developer mentality. Your energy depletes at ridiculous rates and won't replenish. Your skills plummet because you don't have the money to pay for the money for the energy used for keeping a skill high. Your team will find any excuse to hate you, like playing not so great in one match. Oh, and not being able to afford some crappy phone means you can't get a girl and your team takes the piss. And don't forget the fact that, because your boss is paying you a wage a street seller in a 3rd world country would laugh at, you can't buy anything apart from energy, so you become 'an idol for emo and goth teens'. ???? To tell the truth, the game is addictive and the gameplay isn't too bad, apart from the fact you get caught off basically everything you hit.

You can score 150* and still get a 2.3 match rating. Also the fielding and catching is hugely bugged, ball will hit the middle of the hands and bounce off, and my player will also run straight over the ball when trying to get a run out...

Im loving this game,but we i select to play for a South African team,the game cuts out.i am into my 4th season and dont want to lose all my hard work and have to start from scratch....please fix

It's awesome but it's really mean what they say and sometimes it makes me feel sad but I usually feel angry. PLEASE FIX THIS!

What is the point of this game when 2 thirds of the game is automated? Really stupid the point is to win the game but the game decides for you when you get a chance to bat or bowl and most of the time you lose because the game finishes it off for you.

This isn't like any other game... It is magnificent! The controls, gameplay and menu is amazing! One of the best games I've played.

Everytime after about 8 seasons I would be about to play an international match and it would crash and close the app. Forcing me to start a new season which i don't want to do.

The fact that it is impossibly hard to buy NRG with a high wage makes this game unplayable. Make wages higher or everything's costs lower. Greedy

For all those idiots who think u have to pay to get further, you don't, all u have to do is play for a good team. Then u get coins to buy NRG.

Some of the things you have to do are impossible otherwise this game could have much potential but then i get the blame and lose match rating
