Test your maths and vocabulary with Letters and Numbers. Based on the popular Countdown game show, challenge yourself to find the longest words and improve your arithmetic with demanding maths puzzles!
Play all the rounds from the show:
• Letters Round – Choose a mix of vowels and consonants and create the longest word possible before time runs out! Your score is based on the length of your word.
• Numbers Round - Pick a selection of numbers and use them to reach a randomly generated target!
The closer you get to the target number, the higher you score.
• Conundrum round - Decode the scramble of letters to find the 9 letter word. As in the Countdown game show.

1. Strange font is a bad choice for a speed-based word game. 2. Conundrum words are far too obscure - RADWASTES? HAGGADIST? SLABBERED? 3. Number puzzle interface is fiddly and complicated 4. Some longer time limits (even an 'untimed' option) would be great for beginners to enjoy the puzzles without the constant pressure of an imminent buzzer. As it stands this game is too annoying/frustrating to upgrade to the premium version, but fix those issues and I definitely would.

Life was so difficult before this game came out. I just drudged through life... Now, I feel liberated. I play this in dungarees while in the garden every evening in a distinctly care free manner, which is typical of my personality. The music is especially incredible.

Beautiful version with just two crucial flaws: selection of numerical operators is very awkward, and practice mode timer should be configurable and optional. Will upgrade review to 5 stars if these get fixed!
