Broken Sword 5: Episode 1

A note intended for the Developers. I've been a massive Broken Sword fan for as far back as my first pc. When I heard that this was being made, in the way it was, I was both excited to have a new episode on the way and worried that it wouldn't be Upto the others. I so, so happy to say that you have outdone yourselves and the whole game plays in true fashion of the originals. The graphics are stunning as is the storyline. Thank you so much for keeping true to the originals and showcasing the franchise to the next generation, so they can enjoy them as I did.

I would consider myself an old school adventure gamer, having played the original games back in the days. While I completely support the revival of the franchise, I can't help but finding myself bored with this entry. Endless dialogue, too obvious puzzles, and slow plot progression. It's a lovingly made, well executed, but ultimately boring game.

Pretty graphics but WAY too short for €5 If it had been both 5-1 and 5-2 for the price of 5-1, I would have been happier. Fels like a cheap ripoff as of now. Only one hour or so of game play isn't fair.

These guys have high standards and this app is no exception. Badass as usual. The minor complaint i have is as follows: cel-shaded character models style look somewhat unfitting and their animation seems stiff to me

Great game loved playing it, however after Bijou and George dance screen goes blank and freezes. Very frustrating.

Really enjoyed this game. It is a shame that there wasn't a version on Android that had both parts together as one game.

Continuation of the series. Hope the series continues. Seeing and hearing George and Nico is like meeting up with old friends from my youth.

Previously had major sound problems when playing which comprised of hissing and loss of music, but after disabling various setting in my Dolby ATMOS app that came with my Lenovo Tab2 the sound is OK, volume level has to be set to max though, however that's probably my tablets fault not the games.

If you enjoyed the old games you will love this. The dialogue, graphics, story and puzzles are classic Broken Sword. Adapts well to a touch screen format too.

I find the characters designs and graphics very smooth and passion to the eye. Nico def has the look to sweet talk her way through stuff now. Sometimes the chit chat feels like it carries on a bit and the dialogue isn't quite as witty humerous BUT still very enjoyable to me. HOWEVER just hit a snag, game stops responding and screen goes black right after dance with Bijou (bless her ) really want to continue playing please let me know what i can do if anything to speed up a fix for this.

I loved the previous games and was excited to play this one. However after numerous attempts and several weeks it still does not download. My tablet downloads other apps so I know it's not my account. Very disappointing.

Loved the game until it stopped working. Won't let me go past the Henri makeup :/ very frustrating

Fantastic game, always been a big fan and was pleased to be able to play it again on my tablet. hope they release more of the broken sword titles to play on my tablet :)

I highly recommend all of the Broken Sword episodes. Just wish they would make episodes 3 and 4 available on mobile. Great storytelling that makes you want to know what comes next.

Loved the Broken Sword series for years and actually have this game on the PS4. Installed and paid for this game on my xperia Z3 for times when I'm away. Unfortunately it doesn't open, there's a black screen for about 3 seconds then it reverts back to my app screen. Little help?

Best mystery/problem solving series on the market by far! Challenging and engaging. Can't wait to play episode 2. Please continue to make these. A++

After george doing make up to look like henri in bijous apt, then there is clip henri and bijou dancing. But suddenly the screen get dark and the game is not responding. Pls help!

Having played all the Broken Sword games starting way back i can safely say that this is true to the original and just as fun.

Very good point and click adventure. Good story, keeps you interested. Really nice graphics. Typical BS humour. If you've played the earlier games and liked them you will probably like this too. A few minor complaints; it felt a bit slow at times. Too much conversation and walking. The characters move very slowly, wish they could run. Some lagging when conversation starts and if you skip conversations. Still all in all a very good game, highly recommended to all who love classic p&c adventures.

This game looks beautiful on my lg flex 2. Only complaint is i wish it was longer but the game was a lot of fun. Some puzzles were complex and i prefer to play without the hint system but the game really got me hooked. Please release more :)

Fan of all of these on android worth paying for allthough the price does seem to be increasing with the new graphics which do look very nice this 1st part i couldnt help but think it was lacking something it may be the 2nd part that completes it as a whole its a shame it had to be split into two halves but i can understand being such a big game keep up the good work look forward to many more games

I have loved playing and following the broken sword series for years. I found this one a bit too obvious, going to d/l part 2 I really hope it's more of a challenge.

I loved the first broken sword but this one is just too much talking! I just want to play the game! No ask each person 101 questions! It's so boring!

Will have to buy second half.....

Absolute brilliant game installing to play again for the third time now. Cant get enough of the broken sword games. Brilliance in its best form

Thoroughly enjoyed this game with excellent graphics and a great storyline. Would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes mystery's and adventure games

Love how the story goes on as you solve a bit more of the story great ending in part 2 if you love these types of games or just curious about it I recommend both parts

As a fan of the originals this is too short. Even with a second part. Gave 4 stars because I did enjoy it for the little time it lasted.

Wow!! Couldn't be more pleased with a game and it's a 2 parter sweetness...,but I can't pretend that I don't see PART 3,4?
