Title Bout Championship Boxing is the ultimate boxing simulation game. Created by one of the original developers of Championship Manager, it comes with more than 8,000 fighter records in its database, which is constantly being updated by dedicated volunteers.
Boxing fans often fantasize about matching greats from different eras. They still argue about how Joe Louis would have stacked up against modern competition and whether or not Mike Tyson, in his prime, could have gone toe-to-toe with that guy who "floated like a butterfly and stung like a bee." Now some of these questions can be answered, at least theoretically, courtesy of Title Bout Championship Boxing.
Essentially, Title Bout is centered around asking, "What if?" The gameplay modes include single bouts, fight cards, single- or double-elimination tournaments that feature as many as 16 boxers, and lengthy bout schedules. There are no career or role-playing options as seen in most sports management sims, although you can input your name and track your wagers on bouts. That can make fight cards a little more interesting, because you begin with a mere $10,000 stake and dreams of Jimmy the Greek grandeur.

After the bout is finished and there is the fight log to download, it gives me the option to open it in one of the two viewers I have on my phone and neither seems capable of viewing the log. Can you please let me know the optimum file reader you recommend so I can review the log of a fight please? Other than that, do not doubt a moment longer and get this app. It's like football manager for boxing fans. And watching sugar ray Leonard smash Floyd Mayweather jnr around like a ginger stepchild makes it gold

Cant finish a tournament as crashes all the time on android. Would give it 4/5 if this didnt happen. A career mode would also be good

Played this board game years ago. Effect of corner, tally of stats, and ability to move between classes of boxers is great. Can't use tourney on android due to crashing. Should consistently update boxers. Good game, but needs a bit of work to use all features.

Have had the game crash on me a few times and every time I close the game, even with updating and saving my fighter stats aren't saved!!! Needs a patch big time! Update- put dozens of hours in and the game is fantastic for boxing fans BUT is so poorly optimised for tabs/phones that it becomes near unplayable. Tournaments bigger than 4 fights will make the app unresponsive at some point. Or just using the app for more than 50 minutes will often result in the app freezing with no recourse but to close it.

It freezes in tournament More and then the after a fight card. The only way to use it is in head to head mode and then it does not work not save a lot of the time. Could be an excellent game but has far too many faults.

It is a great idea, but far too many bugs. Constantly crashes when you try to simulate a fight, editing and creating new fighters has bugs as well. The game when it runs is great fpr boxing enthusiasts, but just crashes far too often. Disappointing.

This is a great app however, Bryant Jennings is listed as a female and I can't edit it.

This is actually really accurate, and far less expensive than it is on the PC. BTW, to fix the Bryant Jennings problem, go to "Fighters", bring him up and click the notepad on the right. This will allow you to tell the game he's not a woman.

I have played this for years on the PC. I just realized that there was an Android version. It's a bit hard to click on some of the buttons. Just a minor issue for me. Fantastic work!

Now unplayable. I've bought every version since the APBA days in the 1990s (on floppies). I've tried all of the suggested work arounds and no dice. What's atrocious is that the app hasn't been updated since 4/1/2014, which so happens to be April Fool's Day. Joke's on me I guess. Many, many consumers have the same crash issue as I do. Where's the fix? An apology? A refund for a game breaking patch? I wish. I've given 10+ months for the developers to issue a fix. You've lost a 20 year customer.

Good for serious boxing fans. It needs am updated roster though. No prime foreman is sad. Also rocky is a bit inflated, and ww duran is underrated. The duran that fought palomino and srl in the first fight...kills anyone from the 90s untill now. This is coming from someone born in 1989. I have no era bias.

I've played this game on PC before, and enjoyed it, so I wanted to try it on my phone. This game does NOT work. When attempting to start a fight, the app crashes with an error reading "Fatal error! Error reading .dat-file! Program terminated" there is no fix anywhere for this, I searched high and low. I like the game's premise, but I can't even play it. Hopefully this review is read and this error fixed, because I don't want a refund, I want a working game that I paid for.

I hate to rate so low, but the thing won't load. I did everything it said to on the website in order to get the necessary files installed. Even so, nothing happens when it loads the title screen. It just stops, and there is no way to use any of the features at all.
