Z Origins - (Z The Game)

I remember this from my youth... yes I was young once.. it actually had a further 10 levels... as a bonus .. it may have been 5 .. memory not as good.. This game is the best... VERY funny SIMPLE idea at times really hard BUT all round fun.. you can change Strategies every time you play.. on a phone it's hard as screen to small.. its better on a tablet.. but wish more games were like this... BRILLIANT ... Go Z Go..

OMG I have the cd-rom of this played it all the time... never have beat the damn game lol. You made this so much easier.... it's hard as hell to get games like this to play on new machines..

Still a great and unique game! I know the original very well and there is room for improvement for better mobile experience. (1) The player should be able to pause the game to give units orders. It is quite difficult to guickly navigate the map, group units and send them off to their target on a mobile phone. (2) Zoom adjustment or at least have the standard view zoomed out a small bit. (3) The AI gets stuck on obstacles more than I remember from PC.

Is Kavcom still maintaining this game? Because while this is a fine porting job overall, I swear unit AI is dumber than in the original versions on PC, it needs some polishing in order to be a perfect game. That, and multiplayer capabilities.

Zed was famous for its intelligent ai...here robots get stuck all over the place, dont get into vehicles etc. Pity

Had a demo of the original pc game back in Windows 95 days and this is a great transfer to Android. Simple but great fun. Thanks.

I love the game, as a long time fan and owner of the original copy i am glad to see such a well done coppy of this game. It is a little easier then the original maby due to the mobile phone limits wich takes away the hard difficulty levels of the game. Allso the path finding may need a little tweek. Other then that the over all game play is awesome and it is really awesome to see the videos agane, have not seen them in over a decade. The developers of this mobile friendly app should be proud of this app.

I've been trying to get my old copy to work on my computer. Then I found out it was in the app store! Im happier than I pig in mud right now. Thanks for providing me with a dose of nostalgia.

Way too excited that this game has come out for Android. Some minor improvements can be made but overall worth it.

I remember i had the demo for this on ps1 when i was a kid i cant believe i found the actual game i love it!!! Really nice to see this on android thank you so much developers :) :) :)

Redownloaded onto my Samsung galaxy A36 it crashes allot and the controls are really small and precise very hard to properly hit the right part of the screen to issue the correct command or select the desired option.

Excellent game and very true to the original PC format. Controls are easier to use on Android. My only disappointment is that there are no new levels to purchase

Can't believe this is so cheap. Tons of fun. Rare true RTS compatible with mobile platform.

The game looks and sounds just the way I remember it from the original. Have it 4 stars because the game is still jerky and not especially smooth so it looks like it was not optimised for Android. Also, as mentioned by others, the screen is zoomed in too much meaning it's difficult to scroll around and also to select units.

I used to play this game as a child brings back many good memory's sitting for hours apon hours in front off a PC screen wish they done more off the old games here if u like this 1 daenload z steel soldiers even better

I played z game on dos and now it remake for android. I like z game cause it's rule is simple and easy to play and this version has difficult adjust for all player.

the game is still alot of fun, very basic and relatively simple controls. An excellent strategy game where u can blow some time when your bored/waiting. Im giving it 4 star purely because of its 372mb size, properly optimized it would be 50mb ish. Also its very zoomed in, making units hard to keep track of and alot of scrolling(my phones a CATS50).
