Word Solver Lite for Android
App works well, but it's irritating to have to go to the task manager to force close. I can see that this issue has been going on since 2014, so the developer is not likely to change it. Uninstalling.
Aside from being a marginal assistant, it also provides worthless dictionaries. Still comes in handy as an aide. They could certainly make an effort too stop annoying the user for rating. Particularly after you have already given it a rating. Perhaps it's rigged to pester one to rate them until you provide five stars. I would give it another one or two if they stopped the POPUP.
Cannot get menu to pop up on Galaxy S7 edge, on my S5 I would just long press the square button to the left of the home button & the menu would pop up but for the S7 and S7 edge, long pressing on that button tries to put an app into split screen view and no way to get the menu to show. Uninstalling until they can properly make a menu side panel for the app that you can just click on within the app
This app is ok, needs more simple words. There is no MENU button on the app for the NOTE 7. I have to force close it in order to kill the app, otherwise it's always open. You also can't get to the app settings.
When wwf gives rack after rack after rack of pure vowel I I I I I u u I got to use them as wwf e cchanges them for I I I I U U U then I need help after 26 boards of vowels and the rest of the games sheer consonants. Makes a great conversational pieces with opponents we laugh a lot with words this app comes up with
I cannot find the menu. Seems to work, but not as advertised. Uninstalling.
Hopeless memory hog!
I use this as a tool to come up with words in Upwords when I get stuck. It's been really helpful!
Works the same as other apps. Says use menu - exit to close. Great, except there is no menu. Shame there is no other way to close it.
Note 5......no option to close. Had to uninstall. This app worked great on my HTC DNA....
Doesn't display all possible suggestions, however, love that blank and board inclusions can be included
The menu, which is the only way to quit the app, does not work in Android 6+ on my Galaxy note.
I have a Samsung Note5 and I have to for force close the app every time because I can't reach menu options like I could on my S4. I also have the same issue on my Galaxy Tab3. Willing to give 5 stars if issue could be resolved!
Only used it for anagrams. Slightly annoying how you have to close the app
Great app until the menu button disappeared leaving me without a way to close the program.
The menu is at bottom right. There is an exit option. There's also an option to stay in memory after use, which can be unchecked.
Directions say to go to menu to exit. What menu? There is none. My only option is to uninstall it, or let it run 24/7 and drain my battery faster.
I'd like it more, but it's always glitchy. It stops responding and I have to reopen the app every time I wanna use it, which is inconvenient when it should be on my notifications bar. And it often makes me hit search more than once before it brings up all the results. At least it's usable, though.
Just what I need to remain a scrabble expert...recommended for everyone who is anxious to improve on word games....would appreciate if its default mode is set to twl 2012
Works when my brain won't.
I chose this app for the transparency feature. The preferences menu lets you choose black or white text for the transparency mode. But no matter what, text stays white. On my screen I can't see the text well enough for it to be useful. What a letdown. Can't use, so uninstalling.
As so many others have said, there is no menu to exit this app. Have to do it with the app manager & force stop. Ridiculous. Also, can only check one board letter at a time.
Loved this app for many years. Now the menu screen doesn't stay open long enough for me to exit. I have to uninstall and install every time I need to use it. Please fix for 5 stars.
You're never to old to get excited about words. This app adds to the fun!!
It's ok. Can't find half the words in the dictionary, and I use two, that are provided by this app and many, many times the app does not include everyday words. Doesn' make sense.
Good compared to rest, must exit by going into settings, app mgr, force stop, a pain in the tush. Missing a lot of words with extensions re... ed... ing, but overall foundation is great.
I like this app but I hate that I have to force close it to make it go away when I'm done. Only app I've ever had to do that with.
Wish you can touch screen to see your tiles and lift finger off screen to go back to this app, instead of closing one app to go to the other.
This app doesn't give you unlimited numbers of letters to find words in but allows you a good length string of them. It allows you to order words in different ways, and to have given letters in different positions. It is very pleasant to us.
No way to access your scrabble board to view from the app, and the search button and clear button are in awkward place so you constantly hit clear instead of search. Nice that you can chose extra letters and placement in the words and it's nice that it shows up in your notifications bar.
Very easy to use and a good help with word games.
For scrabble at least, it only finds words up to eight letters. It uses an inefficient search algorithm, so wildcard searches take longer than they should.
Worth supporting developer with upgrade. Does what it is suppose to ... and well ... oh. As to the shut down angst, perhaps nice if would do ... but folks, it is called task mgr if can't follow directions and do another way. IMO not enough of an issue to make it a deal breaker. If deal breaker for you, find one easier to shut off ... and crapier to use.
Works well for a variety of word puzzels. Scrambled letters, missing letters, it finds the words if they are within the 8 letter limit.
To close on Galaxy, Nicole, try the menu button on your phone/tablet.
I like that it allows for searches, but not how limiting it can be.

Can't shut this app down on lg g3 had to uninstall it no menu fix it and would defo use it
Good at what it does, although the dictionary sometimes fail to load for the anagram. Then I had to use the scrabble

General functionality is just OK, but there's a few tweeks needed. First, trasparency is useless in Words, because you can't read the words due to the small, thin, and black font. Second, it doesn't find all words, even simple ones, for example I had a rack with JE... and T to search on, and it didn't return JET as a word.
