Hearts Free for Android
The ads were ok but they came up randomly and I always had to wait for them to load to go back out of them. I really like it though. It's addictive and fun to play. I like how you can decide how hard the CPU players are. It's overall a pretty good game.
This particular version of Hearts puts entirely TOO much emphasis on making SURE that YOU will get the Queen MOST of the time to the point where it's really not very realistic. For the most part, you can pretty much count on losing. You can tell from the ridiculously high or middle-of-the-road hands that you're dealt more than often enough. UPDATE: Come on AI, if this AI engine is the one that companies in other countries use to perform serious research, then we're in serious trouble. Worst AI I've seen.
Good graphics, awful gameplay. 5 stars to designer, 1 - to software developers. Only one actual computer "player", no simulation of three independent ones. It "knows" your cards, it "plays" against you only and can (suppose it does it every round) exchange cards behind the scene. No fair play and simulation, app is slow, full screen ads.
Great implementation! Like others, I got frustrated with the cards and play. I can beat the Spades game 80% of the time at some of the toughest levels, not this one. However, I've become a better Hearts player with this game and am now winning 25% to 33% of the time. IMO, this AI is much better than the Spades game. So, ignore the folks complaining (I used to be one of them) and get this game. You'll enjoy it!
Great solo hearts game with varying characters, difficulties and some basic stat tracking. Would like to see the inclusion of the "random opponent" feature that already exists in your spades game. I enjoy just being able to startup and play without having to manually select new opponents each time.
I like you can play the computer and pick player difficulty. It doesn't let you change your mind on which cards to pass before you pass them, though.
The programming here is very suspect. The computer programming so clearly knows what is in your hand. It is frustrating when it makes plays that would be asinine unless it knew exactly what was in your hand. I nonetheless have fun messing with the computer's mind with shrewd moves. Entertaining to a point.
Perfect except when cards are passed, you don't see what you're getting. They just move into your hand. They should hover above till you tap to receive them. So only 4 stars.
This game is not at all like a real game of hearts. The computer either allows you to win or makes it impossible to win. Why can't someone create a game that is reflective of an actual game of hearts with simulated players who don't know what cards you hold. It's simply no fun to play when the computer know what you hold in your hand.
Even though I do like this game I agree with some of the other reviews the game seems stacked and often it feels like it is three players against one . For random it seems odd to get the queen three or four hands in a row not the same game but in a row.
I appreciate the smooth interface seen in all ai factory games, but unfortunately this hearts version has a couple main flaws. Primarily, the passing does not follow the conventional "left, right, across, hold" cycle from hand to hand; rather every hand is a "pass left". This impacts the flow of the game (especially with no hold). Also I miss not being able to see the scoring history by hand. You can only view the total score. Overall the ai is pretty sharp on this version (closest I've seen to human players for hearts). Update: Thank you for the developer response, I had search for passing options from the wrench icon in play but missed seeing the alternate rules menu at the start.
It's still early, but the A.I. seems a little off sometimes. Hard to put my finger on, seems like it misses some obvious plays.
It's short, sweet, and simple. Nice animation with the faces too. It gets a 5 star from me. Im confused as to why people ranked it less than 5 stars.
Add some 3D graphics colors lots of colors some Casino like slot machine noises and you would have remade a classic
If you start winning often, the game cheats to try to win. You set the controls to alternate the passing of cards and then it almost never passes to the person who is targeted to win. Takes away from the game, which is, otherwise, good.
Just the right amount of challenging. Computer will kick your butt if you don't know what you're. Doing
Hi! I think it will useful to add a button named "term" to use when we know that rest of cards are ours (or one of computers). (Saving time ;) )
Doesn't pass cards alternately left, right, across and no pass - so game is inherently biased
Very addictive. Have played several Heart games, but enjoyed this one the best.
Third hearts app I've downloaded, and this is the best. Great features, including different skills levels and graphics options. Shows scores as you play, stats, etc.
Great game! Thanks for the tip about Rule Settings on the player page. I somehow missed that.
Like this app. It is like playing against real people. I tried another app.... it was stacked against you, like players were collaborating and targeting you.
Great game! Addicting, fun and very little annoying ads.
A great format for practising. I like being able to choose the challenge level, the play is very quick and best of all, no live players making unhelpful comments. Well done!
Best hearts game out there. Would like to know the scale of the rating in stats means. You ought to add some background to that
Too many ads which rely on location services. Really slows down my ageing Samsung tablet.
Great aggressive play. Just wish the game would follow the rules of Hearts, and would pass cards at the start of a hand "according to Hoyle", instead of always passing to the same player.
This game gives the same vibe that I used to feel in winXP hearts game. I loved this app.
One of the best hearts games I've found. Would like the option of subtracting 26 for a moon shot. Also would be good if the screen rotated to landscape.
I played 4 games and each opponent won to single figure scores and i lost all 4 with some excellent hands. THIS IS NOT RANDOM PLAY.
This would be a 5 star if the player interacted like they do in some of the other cards games you have.
Could have different difficulty levels and auto complete.
Quality hearts app. Good looking and perfect for killing time on the John.
Free so you have to tolerate the ads
An "undo" option would be good The add are extremely persistent and annoying!
A responsive and easy implementation of this game, with the ability to customise the difficulty level.
This is a good and challenging game get it I think you'll like it
This game is not normal hearts, who are they trying to kid, I still play ,but gets frustrating , I think the opponent's know what is in your hand
This is on my line-up of games I play most days! Enjoy the challenge!

I love this game and my android version works great. The only thing I don't like is that when Jack of Diamonds option is selected, a player can still shoot the moon even if I win the jack. The way I learned the game and the stand alone version I play (Hearts Deluxe) doesn't allow that. Instead, the player who was trying to shoot the moon gets 26 point and everyone else gets zero for that hand. Just a heads up. If AI upgrades it, an option for the Jack of Diamonds play would be sweet. It makes the pursuit of that card more important than simply giving the player minus 10 from their score for the hand. Still LOVE it!
