Love this game. No ads in paid for version, a bargain at just 99p. Suggestions for improvement: no need for bonus points, you've won the game anyway. Ability to choose target score i.e. 300 instead of 100. Instead of showing "their" score at end of game show name of opponent. Also to be able to play in landscape mode would be nice.

On the free Spades players get a custom background if they wish. On the paid version of Gin Rummy all that happens is that ads are removed. It would be excellent if I could change the background to something in my files, something that I like as in Spades. Otherwise, I might as well have put up with the ads. Otherwise fun and relaxing game.

I don't know where my review went. Here goes again. I still agree with another review and firmly believe that the game cheats. Both my opponent and the deck know what's in my hand. I win when it's my turn to win (and it's my turn way too often) and I lose when it's not my turn. (And when I lose, it seems like it was preordained.) And Gill knocks REGULARLY upon drawing for the first time. I just finished a game with Gill. It lasted two hands. She knocked on her first play both hands. (The first hand's occurrence was not surprising. As I said, it's a regular occurrence. But twice in a row is just over the top.)

This game has several problems, the worst of which is an AI that cheats...there are just too many times, and too frequently, that the AI draws one or two cards and knocks...this needs to be researched...it appears that it is constantly dealing itself pat hands..

It would be great but while I have the paid version it seems to be restarting my phone after playing for a while.

After many hours of play you get the feeling something isn't right and these cards are not random.

I upgraded to the paid version so I could get rid of the ads and it was so worth it. Play this game every night

only comment i have is Rich is continually tougher than Jane (and I've played many 100's of games to say this). he should be above her on the tougher opponent scale. also, an upside with this game is the pay versions installed size is much smaller than the ad supported game.

Best Gin Rummy Game!

This is definitely the best gin rummy app I have found. It has awesome options for game play, and the game play is smooth. I love the selection of opponents based on skill level. Has fewer ads than most other rummy apps. I have noticed errors on occasion with cards being discarded that were already in the discard pile. It isn't often enough to make me change my rating, and I play it a lot.

Enjoy playing this game. I had a knock play where Jane played a card on a run that wasn't meant to be a run. I had three 6's, three 7's, and three 8's and when I knocked the cards were rearranged into three runs and Jane played a 5 on one of the runs. Is there a way to declare I want three sets of trips? Or maybe the rules allow rearranging your opponents cards?

I love this paid version of the game - NO ADS! After trying the free version, I thought this version was a bargain for the price. The game itself is excellent in every way. Great stuff - same review as mine for the free version...

I'm an average player. This game is making me a better player. One suggest : It would be nice to have a deadwood counter. Not a mandatory but convenient so I don't have to do the adding.

Top app players get manipulated run of the cards. Time after time they are able to knock after two or three draws of cards. That's not AI!

I've owned the pay version for some time now, and remain very satisfied with the interface, AI, etc. I have one request though...any chance you could add a bit more customization options for the user? For example, it would make a very good game a top-notch one, in my opinion, if players could change the winning score from 100 (an awfully quick game sometimes) to, say, 150...or 300. What do you think?

Achievements, Tough ones !!!! I realize your a small team with other priorities.....BUT could use something to play for.....or play for highest score of the day.....the week....etc...... Doesn't have to be against a human opponent.....

This is a great app. Well done. Teaches the game well. My only suggestion would be a pass and play mode so two players could play.

A good game, worth paying the small cost for to avoid the ads (which I kept accidentally clicking in the free version.) My only criticism is that I don't see the point of the bonus points awarded at the end of the game - if I've won I've won, and adding 100+ points to my total doesn't change anything. It just means I have to work out my real score manually. Could this be made optional?

Another great game, just like everything else from AI Factory :) I own all your games except TicTacToe… which I was kinda disappointed to see released before Bridge & Whist (both card games). There aren’t any decent versions of these two games on the market, but there are a lot of great TicTacToe games available. Do you still plan to release Bridge & Whist (maybe Rentz)? You mentioned in an older post of mine that they're planned to be released (~6 months ago)

This game is rigged. The opponents are ranked. The higher the rank the greater the cheating. I would like for the creators to fix the cheating and allow randomized card play. The game would be great if the cheating was fixed. I have uninstalled this game. It is not worth memory space.

None other allows the choice of playing straight gin, Hollywood gin, just this rush to knock game. Also the highest ai knocks in two sometimes 3 draws. A REAL PLUS would be like some of the other card games, give us the option to play both hands ALL CARDS SHOWING. Not only a learning tool, but would PROVE AI is not getting dealt better cards eachtime. Thanks.

K70%
by K####:

I have kept track of cards drawn and it repeats. So unless I missed it telling me this is two decks combined then it glitches. I won't say cheat because that is a human trait but it is repetitive. So it is fun but not accurate. 7/6/15 Reply to AI Factory no it is not from a discard I pulled the King of clubs out of the deck twice. Then it was the Kind of Queens. Playing on a nook does not allow for screen shots. I understand your need for help to fix troubles but you also need to play the game to find them for yourselves.

Unlike other reviewers, I think the deals are very fair. You win, you lose; not unlike playing against a human player. Computer opponents skills level up smoothly and if you read what their strengths and weaknesses are you can adjust your play accordingly. If you want to win all the time and don't want to challenge yourself, play against the one star opponents.

I really enjoy rummy and this version is great. However I also like to play this game with my wife while we are out (which happens a lot) and hoped this had a pass and play option so we wouldn't need to bring cards anymore. If a pass and play option is added will rate 5 stars. Thank you.

I installed this 23/08/2015 and keep playing it even when eating, I am 60 years old, I play against the AI Milly who is a one star player, I win most of the time, but this game gets a 5 star rating from me, worth more than the £0.99p I paid for it
