About Thunee
Thunee, after the Tamil word for water, is a popular trick-taking card game that originated in Durban, South Africa. Visit www.thunee.za.net for more information about the game and tutorials.
This app uses sophisticated artificial intelligence where the computer attempts to learn from your play and play accordingly. It is fully customizable via settings/options where you change options like:
- Choose between Difficulty Hard, Medium or Easy
- Choose to have score assistance for Medium & Easy. Get trick/hand values as they close and real time score.
- Choose when to be asked to bid (All the time or only when you have 3 or more of the same suit or J9).
- Offer win or loss early if you or your opponents have scored more than the required amount (set to on by default)
- You can choose the length of time to take to clear a trick (hand). You can also choose to click on trick to clear. Note even if a duration is set you can click on trick earlier to clear it. (the default time is 1 sec)
- Includes vocal sounds for bidding, calling Jodhi, etc.
- Customize game appearance by changing background (or choose your own color with vignette effect). Change card packs.
Easy difficulty help beginners with calling jodhis' and claiming double or Khunuck.
The options and appearance settings if available from the drop down menu bar that’s activated when you click on the menu icon on the top left. It is advisable to read the help initially which is also available via the drop menu.

Please note that in order to make your experience flawless and smooth, we are now using crosswalk. This means that you will briefly see a prompt with an alert message saying "Decompressing the crosswalk Project Service" only during the first run. Realy good work Chief. The game work intelligently and it's also great for newbies. There's just one problem I've been having which is calling khunak...i think that's right?....it doesn't give me the option to play a khunak in the game at the last hand when my Jodi is above the opposition's count. Once again. Good work man.

Good app. V addictive! I put mine on silent not to hear the annoying voices! Partner plays weird at times, like throws small cards first when playing a thunee. Also no option to play a thunee if u want to irrespective of cards u have. Lastly, my app keeps shutting down and I always have re-download. Pls rectify this error. Thanks.

Great game. Really enjoying it thus far. How about adding some new background options and card packs? And I'm tired of playing against "Left"and "Right". How about letting us edit the partner and opposition names?

Game is great from previous thunee app. However when playing thunee how is it lossible to get caught by trump??Please can that be sorted out,playing good thunee hands with an iron wall thunee and being caught by a king of another suit saying im caught by trump when playing my thunee hand. That glitch needs sorting out. As well as the voices, also its a charo game,lets make it known in the gameplay.

Brilliant all round, only missing factor is a multiplayer/online feature for real time playing against other "human" players instead of just the AI. But otherwise, the game is very well executed in the mobile form. 4/5 stars for me, add multiplayer and this would easily be 5/5

Lovely game really enjoying it. Good time killer. Please allow us to call even if we have nations Good way to fish, At times I like to call thunee or royals but the option doesn't come up. Please see what you can do to help, thanks much appreciated

Hey Ugen. Please can u sort out the game. I have noticed that my partner plays weird most of the time but the biggest problem is when i am trumping and my partner wins a hand. She is supposed to play a trump card to try and rid the opponents of any trumps they might have.... my parnter does this when she does not have the 9 card of the same trump.... however when she has the 9 card she does not pull grump. Sometimes that cause me to lose out on a double game. If u sirt that out thus will be a 5 stat game. Thanks man

This is just brilliant. I spend hours playing on it. The other day my phone went missing and next thing, I can hear 20/30/40 calls from the bathroom. Turned out my brother in law took it and was playing. Well done to the Developer and thank you for bringing such a unique game to our finger tips!
