The Passenger for Android
Pretty, but feels slow. It has unskippable cutscenes that are landscape but play in the portrait orientation. You have to take notes or screenshots yourself, otherwise you will have to slowly walk 3 screens back to look again at a hint object, and then walk 3 screens again to the puzzle you tried to solve. The magnet puzzle also felt slow and unresponsive. In the elevator puzzle, it was almost impossible to see the lights.
Too short I'm not sure exactly what was happening. It needs some dialogue or video to explain. No story that makes any sense. I'd play a lengthier version if it came out though
Finally made it through - even though I had to cheat. I'm glad I found a walk through. The graphics are beautiful, albeit a bit somber. The music is fitting. I have no idea what actually happens, as this is "part 1" - which I didn't find out until the end and web searches. Unfortunately, parts 2 through 5 don't appear to have materialized, so I'll NEVER know what happens. The game play is a bit stilted. Movement is slow, controls are minimal. Puzzles are awkward and solutions are cryptic. There's a lot of back and forth pacing that draws on and slows the pace even more. If it weren't for breaking down and finding a walkthrough, I would not have been able to finish. But aside from all that, I really DID like it... It's more like a slow and awkward graphic novel (comic book), and I appreciate the art and the fitting music. Too bad I'm 5 years too late.
It's pretty short and some of the puzzles are a little obtuse but certainly not impossible or unfair. The magnet mini game lagged like hell on my lg g3.
Has nice graphics and requires no permission, but its story is very short and probably will never be continued or finished (it was last updated in 2014, three years ago). As a giveaway it was good to play with it, but it's way too short to eventually buy it.
The game is non realistic, with weird codes and you have to note or remember them... this makes the game less payable. Story wise, it is good, the passenger is a sentimental dude who keeps travelling, and seeing old pics and crying and such cutscenes appear.... But the story is not clear at all.
A bit short. As well as I had no clue what's going on . A bit clueless. Decent would like to see more. I see its a test.
Thanks for the freebie and also thanks for not requiring any permissions, it makes a nice change to not have to give up all your device and account permissions to play a game.
has alot of potential -if there was an actual full length game involved, the description does say short- but come on .... you pick up a photo and out of nowhere Boom! games over! laaaame
Very buggy game from totally unresponsive developers. Avoid at all costs!
Controlled so poorly I thought it was broken, boring otherwise
Nice graphics but very annoying to play
Terrible control with magnet&rope quest
The premise and art are good but the slow pace of walking around ruins the flow of the game.
Didn't manage to get past the first puzzle, controls are just not responsive
Please to continue on finishing this game, love how there's a limit amount of music that builds the suspense
Too short, story didn't have much context in general
Cool!! But I'm stuck
Short, just like this review
Stuck on intro loop
To be continued. Then?
Waiting for d conclusion
Too short
Beautifully looking game!
Love the art ,the puzzles , love all of it !!! Please make episode 2 !
Everything everyone else has stated. Way to short, he walks way to slow, can't see lights light up, and I paid for it. Would I buy something like this again? No. Am I mad I bought this? Only a little bit.
I like the game and the graphics r good. But I didnt read the reviews before I purchased it. So my only problem is the same as most others, its really short. Wheres the rest??? It just stops with no explanation. And wut bugs me is that it says "to b continued" which means thats just it. A lot of games that say theyll b adding more never do. :(
First and foremost, this is no more than a paid demo of a game that is unlikely to ever be finished. Their Facebook page stated in 2012 that all players would soon receive a free update to resolve the Passenger storyline, but playing this in 2014 that clearly never happened. I liked the style though the colour scheme did make it hard to differentiate to solve some puzzles. Others were unexplained trial & error only, or unresponsive messes. Overall an extremely frustrating experience - needs finishing!
This game stinks. Takes forever to move between screens, the controls suck and the puzzles r the worst. Art is cool though.
I can understand a little lag for swinging a rope, but the fact that the rope won't stop going up when I take my finger off the button is crazy. This games sucks, don't download.
The game doesn't work, can't you test them BEFORE releasing them....wasting my time and money!
Slow. Can't seem to finish last puzzle. Area to interact doesn't respond.
Got to the torn paper and put it in the book and it vanished. Not in bag. End of game
To much potencial but without noin sense clues and actions, short... I want my money back
Great graphics and puzzles. So addictive. Next installment please!
Waiting for next installment but really interesting thus far. Could do with some voices
Please to continue on finishing this game, love how there's a limit amount of music that builds the suspense
It wont even play just keeps showing the intro clip.

This game is far too short--finished in about half an hour! The animation is very bad and story is non-existent. The puzzles are not intuitive and no explanation is given as to how to complete them. As an experimental project, however, it's fine. The ambient music is adequate and backgrounds are attractive. Despite needing a lot of work, as "episode 1" this shows promise, but I wouldn't hold my breath for anything further since it hasn't been updated for nearly 3 years.
