Hex War for Android
Copied war of colors. Download war of colors.
Great app!
They just broke my game with an update. Now the dialog boxes are all black. Can't control moves. Cant play the game.
Was great before the roll back update. Now the display screen is black on black. I can no longer see anything during movement.
Broke it with update. Broke is worse with roll back.
Broke the game on update
Can I get the old game back? It glares on the screen, and the controls are now shaky. Used to be able to adjust it in size on screen how I wanted it, now it has limits. The controls are also more limited. Used to have 4 different sizes for the map, now no control. Hell, even the settings menu is jerky.
What happened to my favorite game? Updated and now controls and UI are quirky and game slower.
The default settings are simple to understand, and it didn't take me long to understand the basic mechanics and move on to more complicated styles. I would like it if I could increase the frequency of special tiles, maybe with a slider. Also, the fog of war is too limited: It would be nice if the first tile or two away was visible; the next showed enemy occupation, but not number; and the next just showed tile shape. I've noticed some stability issues on very large maps.
Really simple game which requires thinking
Classic strategy. Very engaging.
Complicated

great, but there aren't setting changers. The irony is that the custom games have less customization than the quick games. You can't change things like fog of war, or probability. The switches dont appear. I have the same problem in the settings on the menu screen as well. This has always been an issue for me. A fix, and you have all five stars :D
Lots of potential It's a simple, yet deep strategy game. The auto unit movement setting is the best. -Star for lags on huge maps
love it
Decent game over all. Extremely laggy on large maps, but as a turn based strategy game it doesn't affect the gameplay too too much.
Did not get to play, it crashes when game starts, every time I try.
It's a fun game but crashes literally every game. Autosave doesn't work. Also there's some funkiness with the scrolling once the game gets halfway through on the huge map. These symptoms appear on both my phone and tablet.
I like the concept but normal is to easy and hard is way to hard its one thing if the computer can out think me but to give it an advantage is ridiculous
I can only play this game when I'm ready to waste an hour because it's so addictive, for how simple it is its really fun!
Solid fun game
It's almost impossible to find a game like this now a days. Problem is that the math sucks for example for some matches I'll always lose if I hit a panel that is 3 and I hit it with a 9 that has a 99% chance of winning how do I lose my 9 but the enemies 3 us untouched. Or if I have a 9 and am enemy hits me with a five how did I lose and why does the enemy have 10 now. Sometimes the game pisses me off but it's the only one of its kind
The game is fun to play, and has well thought out mechanics. However, as with many indie games it lacks pretty visuals. It also has no campaign which saddens me as pre-made maps utilizeingthe current tile types would play very nicely.
This game is one of those which is so simple yet so deep. The inclusion of auto transfers of units means it's one of the only games I've played which uses supply lines. My only complaint is the map scrolling, which is finicky and difficult to manage.
Additive game. Easy to learn hard to master, but will run down your battery at a massive rate. Not sure why it uses so much power, it's not that complex an app, but it does. Otherwise rating would have been higher.
Great game, supply lines are useful. Large maps have a big issue with scrolling. It's near impossible due to lag. But good custom game options and very easy to play. 5 stars if the lag issue is fixed
I don't understand my opinion on this game. On the one hand I love it's simplicity and it's key gameplay. But somehow, the games tend to play out the same once you get it. :/
Love the game rules, but setting up the auto transfer for each cell is very tedious. Wish there was an easier way (a button?) to auto transfer all units in a certain direction
Decent game over all. Extremely laggy on large maps, but as a turn based strategy game it doesn't affect the gameplay too too much.
Maybe could be more efficient since it lags on huge map once well into game and it's not like lg g3 is underpowered phone
Supply line management too tedious. Needs to be simplified. Battery hog, my phone was on fire. But it's good fun, memories of Risk.
I'll give 5 stars once camera angle becomes movable on big max
The screen scroll seems to suffer a lot when there are three computer opponents on a large map. It's almost unmovable. Fun game though.
I can only play this game when I'm ready to waste an hour because it's so addictive, for how simple it is its really fun!
A perfect execution of a simple design concept that has all of the strategy of Risk with more novelty each game and simplicity for the lack of complex rules. It sucks battery, yes, but it's worth it. Its a quick and great game, but I keep playing because it's just good.
I love that you can make what are essentially, 'supply lines' to the front lines. But whenever I get control of about 50% of the map, all the numbers on the board change to 0's, 1's and 2's.
really fun game similar to the well known classic Risk. I have run into some bugs in this game but it's nothing major.
Running an s7 and it crashes mid game like wtf
