To give you an idea of how much I love this game, I downloaded it way back on my Nexus S, kept it on my Nexus 5, and now have it on my Pixel (working through replaying all levels a third time). Favourite puzzle game: good tutorial, learning curve & balance. Makes you feel smart when you conquer a daunting puzzle; nice "a-ha!" moments. I play other games, but always come back to this one. Highly recommended.

Some of the hidden challenge and brain braking consumption to this entertaining game makes a day's work more focussing, well the whole day in general. Only problem is you need to pay a dollar for just one of the other puzzle packs you can buy. That's why I gave only 4 stars rating. Evan that I know it takes money to program, 36 puzzles is almost like 5 to 10 minutes a time to play, depending on the level of challenge. Also they can make a knew fun game for 5 dollars like the rest of the companys out there:)

To all the people complaining about paying to unlock levels.. You do realize developers have to make a living, right? Be thankful for the free portion. The developer is giving you a sample to decide if you want to buy the game. If you choose not to, then you lose nothing, so the low ratings are really undeserved. Good game by the way (from a fellow dev). Also, to the people suggesting "just put in ads and let us enjoy the game".. do you even know how much revenue ad based games generate?

C70%
by C####:

Yes you have to pay to go beyond the free stages but these give you more than enough time to see whether the game is something you will enjoy before needing to pay out. And I can't believe all those saying 'give us ads'... WTF!?! NO! And NO to suggestions of IAP of power-ups etc rather than the puzzles. Here, you pay for what you play, end of, costs clearly marked. And woo hoo for that! Devs need food, shelter & the odd bevvy ????you know! ???? (& no I'm not a dev).

I absolutely love this game because it's challenging and forces you to think. It starts you off easy, but then things start increasing in difficulty, and before you know it, you are hooked. Soon, you found that you are working these puzzles in your sleep looking for the solution you failed to find before you fell asleep. This game is relaxing and challenging all in the same breath. At times it makes me want to pitch my phone through the nearest window, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I hope that this game is around absolutely FOREVER, and that they keep adding levels. I don't ever want to run out! So please, you wonderful Puzzle Retreat developers, I hope you keep adding levels to this game, they are worth every penny, and I will gladly pay for more...lots more, because you have successfully developed a true retreat. Hope to see more levels very soon, because I just started Everest... :)

These puzzles have proven to be excellent retraining for my memory, focus, and concentration after suffering a traumatic brain injury in a car accident. I have improved focus and recall. These puzzles are fun and entertaining even for people who don't like puzzles as I discovered when my cousin asked about it. She was instantly hooked. Puzzle Retreat is well worth purchasing.

I have been trying to re- find this game for ages and then it came up as recommended due to other games I play. I am really enjoying playing the free levels again and intend to buy all the others. No annoying adds just lovely graphics and great challenging puzzles. Thanks Voxel!

Sliding ice blocks of differing properties to make patterns... Easy, but challenging... There are approximately 50 free games, some designed to help you with the learning curve... Afterwards there are "packs" of games to purchase for $0.99 each ... No time limit or penalties on the game play... I kinda wish there was a hint on a few of the puzzles.. Like where to start.. But that is a quibble.

I very much enjoy this game! There are many other (usually word) games I play, but this is the ONLY game where I've ever paid $$ in orderto play more! That's says alot right there! Its definitely worth trying. I feel like it uses a different part of my brain. ^^

I love the game, I never played this type of puzzle game before. However I'm not o fan of the way you acquire new levels, paying a dollar for every level pack seems a bit too much. Also, this is the first I've user on my Note 2 that doesn't support the S-Pen.

Never seen games like this and good graphics, unique gameplay. yet ppl talk so much about being p2p. This developer has kind enough to give demo. By buying this game's full copy, you help them to make another good games.

Fun and logical game. I have trouble putting it down. This is one of few puzzle games that does a great job of being challenging without being frustrating. Try it, and if you enjoy the two free packs, then you will find the rest to be worth the money.

So far this is a challenging and fun puzzle game. You must move blocks in a sequence and a pattern that allows final blocks to fall into place. Yes higher level puzzles cost $.99 but a quality game with good graphics justifies some expense. It's a good time.

first you will get the tutorial stages and 36 chapter 1 puzzles that quite good. I play this game while take a poo and finished the chapter 1 with 4 times poo. Will buy the second chapter bro. 10/10 best poo game ever, think harder it got out faster

The dingbats who say the dev is "money hungry" are idiots - for .99 you open up a whole new pack of puzzles. And really is a buck really too much to contribute to the time and effort it took to build this bug less, lag less, fun game? Kudos to these devs for putting out a finished, polished product. Wish more games were as good.

This game is terrific puzzle but not challenging enough to warrant only 36levels per package and an expensive full unlock. For under £3 I would truly consider paying for full game because it was a brilliant, or 60-80p for at least 1p per level

Didn't take long to solve all of the free puzzles. I would not pay for puzzle packs since $1 would only give you 20 minutes of play. If it took longer to solve it more came in a pack would be willing to buy.

Once I completed the free levels I was given a limited-time offer to purchase the next three levels (0.99 each usually) as a package for a total of 0.99 so I clicked the link to buy. it said it was the three level package yet after completing my purchase only one is unlocked.

This an excellent game and not just a kid game that they tried to 'upgrade' a little bit -- this is really a 'grown-up' game!! Makes you think, too!! (Kinda gets your mind off of other stuff!!)

One problem I have with a lot of other puzzle games is that they punish you for taking your time and thinking your way through the puzzles. This game rewards you for doing so by providing fair, interesting puzzles with clever yet simple mechanics. After playing the free levels I was immediately persuaded to pay for the next level packs and I am not disappointed. Looking out for the next game from these guys.

It is fun. Who knew sliding little ice cubes could be so fulfilling? I was about to sell all my worldly possessions and move overseas to help people, but this totally scratches that itch.

I NEVER pay for games but I paid to have all the levels unlocked & it was worth it. Loved the newest hard level. I got so caught up in one puzzle that I was late for work! Great job. Hope y'all are working on more puzzles

After I finished all the puzzles available in the first 2 sections, it seems like I have to pay within 24 hours or it will cost me MORE to continue to the third section? It puts gamers in a "take it or leave it" situation. If I am wrong, feel free to correct me. This is why I only gave 4 out of 5 stars.

It's for small kids. Only 2 sets are free. For rest you have to pay. Candy crush is n times better than this.

B70%

This is one of the best puzzle games avaliable. Yes, it is maybe a bit pricy to have all the packs, but I bought them all, and it was worth it. Would like to see Google Play services integrated, mostly cloud save. This feature is a must have for any puzzle game. I hope to see both that and more levels in the future.

These are fun little puzzles, but each one doesn't take very long to solve and they are pretty expensive. Install the app and play through the free puzzles but I wouldn't recommend buying any more at the price they are offered.

T70%

It's not too challenging yet satisfyingly stimulating. Too bad there's only a limited amount of free games.

B70%

It sucks you only get two packs free, i'm almost done with the highly addictive morning pack, but after that what am I supposed to do? Sit there and look pretty? This is a really fun puzzle game, and it'll be a shame when I have to delete it since I can't pay for more packs ಠ_ಠ

I had a stroke 6 months ago. This game is a type of therapy to help my spatial reasoning improve. I've bought the whole package. If you don't want to pay for more levels, play until your tired of the game, then move onto another game.

T70%

I love this game! It helps boost cognitive thinking in a simple way and I recommend this game for anyone of all ages. However, they only give you two free packages, and once those are done you have to pay for the rest. It's "aim" is just to make money.

I absolutely love these puzzles. They're both challenging and soothing, perfect for doing before bed. The interface is simple and the visuals and sound effects are very pleasant. $5 for all the level packs is a bargain--half what you'd pay for a movie, for hours and hours of brain exercise.

X70%

Different. Hard enough to challenge you but won't make you want to pull your hair out. Most puzzle games are too hard (many) or too easy. This is truly casual puzzle fun for lateral thinkers :) 2 thumbs up :)

I love this game. It's full of fun, easy challenges. No timers. Very relaxing!

Everything in its place and a place for everything. Yep, thats what it's all about, so satisfying .

T70%

It's pretty good and challenging for a while. But the new level packs are a waste of money with many repeat puzzles. It gets easy and boring after you get used to it. Meh.

Lucky I came across this, fun and interesting puzzle game. Interesting mechanics, sort of like checkers but you have to fill the board. Different blocks add more challenge to the game, puzzles are very clever. Also from a studio in Melbourne! Love seeing local developers make quality games.
