遊戲玩法：

輪流按自己的卡片以獲得自己的暗號，要小心不可被其他人偷看到。

遊戲中存在平民及臥底兩個身分，臥底屬小數，他們的暗號與平民不同但相近。也可增加白癡這個身份，沒有暗號，全靠猜測，難度極高。

玩家要從指定的玩家開始發言，然後按任意次序，以一句話描述自己的暗號，但不可直接說出，也不可故意作出錯誤描述。藉此玩家可判斷誰是臥底，抑或自己就是臥底。

每過一輪，玩家們可投票決定「處決」哪個玩家，臥底全部死亡時平民勝；平民死亡一半即臥底勝。白癡玩家則只須生存下來便可得分。

玩家可以通過適當地模糊自己的描述﹑猜測別人的暗號甚或觀言察色以獲得勝利。
