If you are an advanced player please check out the Pokertrainer app instead. It has some more advanced exercises, for example on Implied Odds and Hand Reading.

You can judge and compare your poker skills through the different skill levels. Are you a Noob or a Legend in poker? You can also see how you are getting better and better when you practice by your higher and higher scores.

The Poker Hands Trainer includes:
- Preflop Trainer
- Poker Hand Ranking
- Best Poker Hand
- Texas Hold'em Rules

With the Preflop Trainer you can practice which hands to raise with from different position and learn about 3-betting and 4-betting. It will help you learn and practice a sound preflop strategy based on how the best micro- and low stakes player actually play in 2013.

You will also learn to quickly recognize different poker hands like for example two-pair, flush or full-house and which of the poker hands that are best. This may sound easy, but it is done on time which helps you improve both speed and accuracy and it gets more and more difficult for each level.

I learned a lot from this game, mostly that I can turn a more consistent profit by playing tighter. Yes the ranges in the preflop trainer are tighter than in general play but regardless... I win more often now. Hands trainer is good too just to keep my decision making sharp.

It keeps telling me to fold A_o. If I have an ace and anything else on suit, I'm at least playing to the flop. Sorry.

The tutorial about poker hands in the section straight actually shows a flush, though the description is correct.

You learn a little, but this is not a good app for learning the rules, then applying them. Needs better province modes, like playing hands and using the learned skills

This app is great for learning poker hands. That has always been one of my biggest hang ups. And this app helps without actually having to play real rounds. My only suggestion is to allow the cards to be seen again after a wrong answer. After closing the wrong answer box, I would like to see the cards on the table again instead of progressing to the next draw or hand. On the third draw, the next hand is dealt after closing a wrong answer box and you can't see what the winning hand was built with.

Poker is a beautiful game and this app gives me anxiety. this Creator has slandered everything poker is about. Don't download.. if you play like this app "trains" you to, then no one will want yo play with you...it's called being a troll. ITS A GAME ABOUT BLUFFING!!!!!! treat your poker how you would treat your wife!!! Its all about the foreplay! This guy is an idiot. I bet he lives in his parents basement and has daddy issues. Don't be a troll. Love your poker.

According to this app, I should fold almost every hands on preflop. I'm sure probabilities tell so, but what a boring game it makes

Only has a quiz function which doesn't tell tell you what your doing wrong or right only tells you how many you got correct.

I don't like that the your cards are covered straight after seeing them. When you're learning a card game it's always helpful to be able to keep checking them.

The very first tutorial introduces so many unfamiliar words and phrases that it lost me in the first sentence. I was hoping to learn how to play. Sadly not with this app.

I have down loaded both the poker odds trainer and poker hands trainer and do not see any difference between the two on the home screen menus?

Currently in second for contest by a few points. Was working on 1st, when I was congratulated, by game, for advancing to next level.. but game is now stuck between two levels and I cannot progress. Please fix this issue. I will add that I do have to wear reading glasses to see cards, otherwise I misread them or have to slow down too much, affecting the score. Thanks in advance for your help

Good idea but the cards are too small. Won't rotate on smartphone.
