About Fox Hunting
Fox Hunting is a puzzle game. It was first published in the USSR back in 1985 in the magazine "Science and Life". The game author was inspired by radio orienteering, or radiosport. Fox Hunting may also be of interest to those who like Minesweeper, Battleship, Nonograms and other board games.
The goal of the game is to find all foxes in as little number of moves as possible.
The game is played on a 8 by 9 grid. Nine foxes are randomly placed on the grid, with their location being unknown to the player. One cell can only contain one "fox."
You can open one cell during each turn. When you open a cell, a number indicating the number of "foxes" that can be seen from the opened cell appears. This number indicates how many "foxes" are located in a horizontal, vertical and diagonal directions relative to the specified cell.
If you click on a cell that contains a "fox", it will be painted red. This indicates that the "fox" was found.
The game goes on in this manner until you have found all the "foxes".
I plan to gradually expand the functionality of the game. I intend to add the ability to choose the board size, the number of foxes on the board and the maximum number of foxes in an individual cell. I'm going to add the settings screen and several difficulty levels.
