Heroes : A Grail Quest

Like HMM but really kind of a slow build up. Takes awhile to get an army to take castles and you don't have the resource management that HMM had to distract you during buildup. Otherwise a really fun game.

Satisfies my HOMM 3 urge via my mobile device. No in-app purchases means this one's a keeper. And no, it doesn't have to be changed in order to be more like HOMM 3. It excels on its own merits.

Did get stuck on an island with my ship to far away to get back on tho. But we'll worth the 1$. No in app purchases. ....awesome

The best. Great strategy game with no crappy energy system or IAP paywalls! Extremely rare! Very similar to homm and a bit of a roguelike mixed in.EDIT: updates keep making it better and better !

Amazing game! No ads, no in-app purchases, gets you hours of gameplay, decent replay value, simple yet still requires a bit of strategy. If you are a fan of HOMM or KB this is a must have for android, it's not super deep or complex yet it does an excellent job and it costs freaking 1$. Buy it. Just do it!

This is an entertaining if limited game reminiscent of 90s era titles like "Might and Magic" or "Lords of Magic". Heroes definitely offers many hours of entertainment, and is well worth the 1 dollar it costs to play (alot less than one might spend on some "free" games these days). To any fan of this type of game, or even those just looking for a low stress time kller I definitely suggest you download.

Perfect game... Only wish it could have more maps to play. Played about 5 times on different levels but the final artifact is always on the same island and in the same place. :(

Nice game with no in app purchases required. Now freezing when trying to begin a battle. Fixed! Now the grail has disappeared and I can't finish

I found this to be an enjoyable little game that doesn't take itself too seriously, gave me hours of fun and without any of those iap's that plague the market. Easy 5 Stars.

Here's the bottom line... Only 1 dollar! Very playable! Easy to start! Classic simple but very fun RPG! Nice graphics! No special permissions! No ads! No in-game purchases! Overall - Fantastic! Worth every penny! Can you make a beginners level so I can win? Very hard! Has anyone got to the end of this game? Any tips?

This game is almost a straight port of the old kings bounty game. This is a good thing! Kings bounty was the inspiration for heroes of might and magic and many other tactics games. Worth the price.

Don't know where to post, but I want more superb game from you dev. No new game after defcom TD. I will surely buy your brilliant game. pls make a new game. RTS done, Turn Based Strategy done, TD done, Fallout done. I think next you can try to make an RPG game like Diablo. I miss your brilliant work.

Well worth a dollar, but... Hard to tell if a fight will be too hard (I'd like to see approx difficulty relative to my army). I've restarted the game twice in two hours, because lost too many troops. Also would be nice to have option to repeat last battle. Annoyingly, the most effective (but unpleasant) strategy seems to be to suicide-attack a castle, weakening its defenses but wiping out your army so your upkeep is zero, then do nothing (dig to pass time quickly) for several weeks (WITHOUT buying any troops that cost upkeep) to build up cash before hiring more troops. Then hit the castle again. Battles became more satisfying once I figured out to press and move to different edge of enemy cell, to select direction from which to attack, so don't block another stack from reaching enemy that round. Treasure chests just give gold and scrolls; crypts have more interesting rewards. Magic is limited to single-use scrolls. Once you've mastered, game is over in a few hours. Unless you are new to this game type, worth playing only 2 or 3 times. (Design Suggestion: When select magnifying glass, each interesting location should immediately show key info, so don't need to click on each one.)

A fantastic turn-based strategy game that delivers a full, enjoyable experience without having to bait you with false promises or pay gates that dig into your pockets. Great value for a great game. Rated 4 only because it is a little too easy to find yourself in a no-win scenario. But you live, you learn.

Great, simple and well designed game for HOMM and KB fans. Only reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because necromancy is op and it unbalances the game. Basically once you've got it you can't lose. Would also like to see battle stats like hit damage and upcoming attacker order.

I hate games where they "offer" in game purchases. This give you a whole game with 3 levels. Fair price and a decent game.

Not very fun gameplay. Played this through twice just because I payed for it. Don't know why. Very repetetive gameplay. Needs more interesting choices in battle. Right now the battles are just too straight forward and boring.

Additional scenarios. Possibility of computer controlled "heroes". More units please. Maybe even the ability to upgrade units. Quests to bring pirate criminals to justice at towns would be nice. Or just side quests. Also more random items please. Like flotsam and jetsam. Or random encounters out in the world, not just mobs. Subterranean level? ;) Shaping up to be a great game! Keep up the good work!

Excellent game with absolutely no IAPs. Finally a one-time pay game again, haven't seen that in a while.. The gameplay is smooth through and through but gets a bit repetitive after a while. Still great for hours of time killing though and absolutely perfect for a boring bus ride! I'd really like to see different scenarios and the city building system from HoMM but that might be worth to be put in the next (hopefully soon coming) game of this great, customer friendly developer.

I was looking for something like this for a long time. Fun strategy game based on Kings Bounty. Run around assemble armies, crush you foes. Another bonus- non of those in-app purchases! Thanks for making this!

Great bare bones heroes of might and magic type game.I would give them more money if the app would allow. Wish they would expand, or make a more in depth game of the same type.

5 stars for no IAP's, adds or permissions. Take note loser devs.. this is how mobile gaming should be. Zero clutter on my phone. Would rate higher if I could.

With the mechanics of Heroes of Mighty & Magic, this games brings back a familiar game play and lots of fun.

Go in with clearly superior army and wiped out consistently by armies a third in size. How can peasants destroy pikemen who outnumber them? How come my attacks only take 5 or so away from enemy, yet their attacks can take 40+?! Don't get it and this has stopped me playing.

The castle only repeats a story and defeated castles only produce the same 1 unit type. 2) buying new heroes/ more than the one hero you always get. 3) actual turns, with possibly a wandering enemy, deposit your units and defend your castle. 4) different starting points, always bottom left.

Takes a little bit to figure out what's going on, but then it's a great way to waste some time :)

Such a fun game. May not be as complicated as HOMM, but it's still a great quick time waster. Well worth the $1.

And I love it. Has a customizable difficulty, and a randomly generated map every time you start a new game. Now I want to reinstall Kings Bounty: The Legend. My Wishlist for this game is a zoom feature on the World Map, a little panning on the battle screen, and tooltips on all things, like spells, stats, etc. Actually, maybe just a built in manual like in Star Traders RPG. These are just minor issues though, and that last one is demanding, sorry. This is a great game, and I'm playing it every night.

As many have pointed out, this is a derivative of a 1990 DOS game by the name of King's Bounty. There are fewer creature types and the map is somewhat smaller; it also uses a hexagonal grid like the later Might and Magic sequels. The graphic is slightly improved compared with the original. Sadly, winning the game on any difficulty level is way too easy and the number of time turns given is about twice what is needed for a leisurely campaign visiting every place on the map and destroying every enemy.

Homm in your pocket. Great graphics and gameplay. Easily worth the price but it is not for people who need to be told what to do and unfortunatly its really short :( almost want to avoid winning to see what else there is.
