Love it, everyone throw money in this guy as he really deserves it

Can't really say anyting negative about this game. Good and simple platformer, excellent retro graphics and also new skills you receive along the way. Haven't finished the game yet though...

Like Nubs adventure X10, though this had less story, I personally woulda liked more. My only gripe, more secrets or some reward for skilled and curious players. I kept looking in hard to reach, need an upgrade to find, seemingly interesting places with nothing to get level 1-2 has a ledge you can't reach without double jump, but nothing up there, another has a chasm that if skilled enough you can reach the bottom, for nothing, and just before the last level there's a long cave below the exit, hard to reach and need skill but only space at the end of it. Give 1 sec longer hit invincibility, an extra heart, a 1 hit armor ball like his brother, +1 damage, a small something in those small spots that were so hard to find and get to at least a life or health. Amazing anyway with simple story, jetpacks, tons of platforming and upgrades, and a difficulty setting, hard is a Challenge!

Great little game! The on screen controls are passable, but if you got a blue tooth congroller then you are all set! Sadly USB controllers only support 1 button, though that's no fault of the game but Android itself. Anyhow, TOTALLY worth the pocket change!

Great Metroidvania platformer. Nice controls and paced perfectly for touch screen, not like so many others where you're constantly wishing you had a controller. If you liked Knytt or Cave Story you'll like this.

Loved the game. But for the money I had hoped it to be a bit longer with a few more surprises. But still not a bad deal.

If you're gonna use a whip as a weapon, then you should make the very 1st pixel version of Castlevania. Imagine that! Just make sure to add more enemies, bosses, themes, and backgrounds to make it a Castlevania game and I bet you will make a nice amount of $$$ my friend. It would be an awesome idea, don't you think?

Easily the best platformer for mobile OSes out there. I would like for kit Kat full screen mode. Also toast notifications unnecessarily, abruptly, and annoyingly pause the game. Especially bothersome when downloading lots of updates in the background. Please fix?

The gameplay is ok, although you should just have the upgrades from the start, its not fun without them. The art is nice at first but becomes simply bland. The boss fights are bullish*t and not even fun.

If you're looking for an adventure platformer with action, challenge and fun then look no further than. rico a tale of two brothers. Probably the best game I've downloaded on to my phone. Can't wait to play through it again on hard! Great job IMakeGames!!

This game is perfect

Great game in the NES Tradition. Very well made traps, great boss battles, play control, upgrades, classic music, and very challenging. 4 stars because I felt there should have been more upgrades, the crystal collecting seemed unrewarding, and this game ran very slow when my phone got hot...which is ridiculous for an 8bit game on a smart phone. Still well worth the money.

I don't expect much from mobile platformer, and there aren't many. This game can generally fill your need for some basic Mario styled platforming; it's a linear and simple grab the coins and fight the boss deal. The enemies don't knock you back on contact, which does get annoying when it results in multiple hits and makes them lack a "physical" presence, but if you're skilled enough, this isn't an issue. The aesthetic is deliberately retro with some modern touches, and looks decent.
