The Steel Sunset. Interactive story

Exciting story, since I love a story with mysteries, unknown, fiction, humor, and action, it's a 5 star from me. I thought I would have to wait every 30 minutes for a few lines to the end which is torture for a reader but glad there is a timer disable option. Thank you for this. Edit: people keep saying dwarves don't go to valhalla but what do they really know? Every story is written by a writer with their own imagination so use yours and stop complaining. Edit: I wish i could join your group on fb but trust is an issue for me now than ever before with increasing privacy intrusions from every corner or side of so called good and bad.

This could be an excellent game without the timers.

I would give the game a higher rating but I'm still waiting for Douglas to respond 3 hours after I started the game

I didn't play the game yet but when I looked in the place where the most recent updates are supposed to be located. But I had to admit that was a big shocker to find out that were NO updates recently, NONE!!!

Waiting time is VERY annoying taking away what ever immersion you may have gotten into, its just so frequent too.

Decent game and idea. Notifications made it horrible.

The story is very interesting albeit the setting being typical for a fantasy story. Personally I liked how the story was going along until the end came, it felt too... abrupt, left too many knots untied and many questions unanswered. Spoilers here so anyone interested on playing Steel Sunset don't read on. Why did the elven forest appear dead on the radar? Why did these people invade in the first place? Why did they try to kill everything aside from the bland "They wanted to rule the planet for themselves"? The ending was far from satisfying and too anti-climatic, I'm especially suspicious about the elven forest. I was also hoping we'd jump to the elven shaman's perspective, don't get me wrong I liked Meay and Dargut, but it would've been fun to see the perspective of more people. The story could've been dragged out longer in my opinion as it still has the potential to add more.

The timer slaughters the story. To even really enjoy the game you have to watch 20 ads all in a row (which believe me, is a very long time). The thing is you play ten seconds of game then wait forever (and doesn't even tell you how long) to play ten more seconds of game! Then the choices lack, well choices. The choices are like do you say "good job" or "you did good, I guess". I'm fairly certain the choices don't really affect the gameplay at all (or at least very little). Also this is kind of gorry for an E rated game. And it just ends. And your all like, "Wait. That was the climax?" And it says "share with friends" or "main menu". And you go to make the next choice and then your like "Oh, I guess this is the end..." Extremely anti-climatic.

A overall great game, the wait makes it realistic, and a good story to go along with it

It is good but the waiting time should be removed or at the very least reduced Other wise you have a great game

Love it but one problem dargul won't send. Me a message and if I go back into the game after some time it keeps going

The only offsite ihave is three extended wait times.

It really does a great job of making you feel like an all-powerful entity, which is awesome.

Like it but could do with out the wait in times or at least put a timer to tell people how long they got to wait

Good story and idea, but waiting kills my time and spoils everything.

It takes WAY to many coins to disable the timer. You should not have to watch 20 ads. It should not be timed to begin with.

Quite impressive base concept and story-telling. I may be quite biased, however I find this enticing.

I'm giving this game the 2nd worst game in my life because the waiting damn I didn't have to wait this much even in the lifeline and plus the idea was good but the storyline​ was awfully short

Well written story, I personally quite enjoyed cleansing these heathen steel sunset warriors with my unholy fires! I also thought Dargut's transitions from terrified, to obedient but inquisitive, to eventually absolute obedience was well paced. Finally, the waits in between made the story excellent for reading while doing something else, as the pauses gave ample time to multitask as well as make it feel like I actually had my own little dwarf minion running around. All in all, I loved it and would love to see more from you guys!

Like the setup but then there is some problems with the context like Dwarfs and Valhalla(Viking belief not Dwarf belief) is a bit confusing. And for the aliens just say they are warriors with a weirdly looking skin and body. don't call they so obvious. Then for the Pictures, would be nice if this would chance with the story.

At this point it can only be 1*...tried to buy coins, but they were not credited! Furthermore, the 'Report bugs' option does not work, whilst 'Rate me' does! I'm happy to change the rating when the two issues are solved, particularly as I was already happy to support you by buying coins! Until then...not happy!

The story is engaging i love the fire dragon, but i don't like that to advance the story you have to wait in real time

Really unique style, good story. Waiting is a bit long but makes sense if you get in character

I like the pictures, very cool. But other than that, eveeything else just wasn't what i expected to be. The ending is anti climatic, dwarves don't go to Valhalla and can we at least have a name for the archdemon? That would help.

First off, a dwarf and halfling are not the same!! The frequent stopping is kind of annoying too

Oh look, another game that spaces out a small amount of content by making you wait. Some good ideas here, but the writing and plot leave much to be desired. Certainly the 'wait for text' model only works when there is a sense of urgency, and I didn't feel that at all. Points for including a way to skip the long wait time though, even if it is a bit hidden.

Игра интересная, во всяком случае установить её будет не грех. Начало мне уже понравилось. Оформление на плюс, музыку не слышал пока-что по причине отключения звука =) А сюжет даже по своему интересный. P.S. Ну вот я её и прошёл. Интересная, а то что есть паузы в игре, это тоже хорошо, нет большого потока инфы в голову, но и всё запоминается. В игре я ошибся лишь один раз... Когда сказал гному прыгать из темницы с высоты... =)) Музыка приятная. И я пытался быть хорошим демоном ^_^

This game may have potential but the fact of the matter is that no one wants to sit down and open up this game in anticipation for a great story and have to pause constantly and for what feels like forever before even getting to anything good. It makes getting through the story painstakingly slow and tedious and takes up more of our time as readers than necessary.

Was kinda into it until I realized it's basically just world of Warcraft fanfiction and all fanfiction is is writing for people who have imagination and no actual talent *shrug*

I don't need this thing buzzing begging new to play every 5 seconds while I'm at work. Seriously?

The story isn't that bad; but changing main character without a choice is kinda...(??). Also the fact that we were cool with Dargut (spoilers:) and then next thing you know he dies; is kinda a waste... I get that he's sad he couldn't "save" his world, but just killing himself cause of it is...

Great game to play on your free time!
