L9Droid is the android port of Level 9 Interpreter v5.1 - an interpreter for Level 9 games in any format, including Spectrum snapshots.
Level 9 published 20 games, and were in one way or the other connected to a number of other games. This extraordinary feat makes them the second largest text adventure company right after Infocom.
Their games featured a decent parser with a dictionary of sometimes 1000 words and more, making them the most advanced adventure games ever available on tape.
Games uses an advanced command language interpreter that understands both simple one or two word commands and complex multiple command sentences. Read section "Library/About/How to play" in program to more info.

Every quest is a non-immersive railroad, with little options other than navigation. 99% of the time, the only things it will let you say are north, East, south, west, etc. That would be fine, if any of the adventures had stories, but they seem to have been all written by someone who really gets off on cartography. I'd give a 0, tbh, but it's free so 1. You're better off playing some d&d.

An excellent interpreter, but I'm having the same issue as Cheshire Noir- on a TF201, the menu button does nothing, making it impossible to quit and load another game. In-game, everything works perfectly, and as a mobile Scapeghost emulator it's wonderful. But it would be nice if you could fix the problem, then it'll be a five star app easily.

It works fine on my Galaxy S4 but on my Transformer Prime TF201 the menu button doesn't work. I can't change game without uninstalling and reinstalling, which is an issue :-) Top notch when it works tho!

The best way to play all the Level 9 classics. The only thing I'd add would be an option to view those glorious graphics even bigger.
