Spellcrafter is an RPG game with deep tactical turn-based combat and a unique spell casting system. Explore the magical world, collect gold, interact with NPCs, take quests and make moral choices! Recruit heroes, assemble and summon powerful troops and send them into battle!
The unique feature of Spellcrafter is the spell casting system. The game recognizes the sign you draw on the screen and automatically chooses the appropriate spell from the spellbook. If you don’t remember the correct sign you are able to consult the spellbook, but beware! Reaching for the spellbook takes additional time and the quicker you cast your spell, the more powerful it will be!
The game is divided into 3 acts. Each of them tells a part from a compelling and magical story about the nature of reality, power and morality. You are able to choose from three races and play as human, control necromancer forces or fight for the elves. Each act features 3 levels with a different setting.

Like the turn based aspect and the battle grid. The timer makes me feel rushed though and one of the things I like about turn-based games is to be able to take my time to think out the tactics. The casting system is unique and I kind of like drawing spells on the screen which adds immersion. But sometimes the Spells were hard to trace and had to be too precise which got frustrating. A map would be helpful too. I'd check out the game again though if some of these things were changed.

An interesting turn based game, reminds me of HOMM. Took a while to figure out how to cast the spells well but after turns realised it could be done anywhere on the screen

I got about halfway through the third level, then the game decided that any battle I won wouldn't remove the enemy, but would still deduct troops and cards. Literally impossible to progress.

The only thing I wish you could have is the ability to see the location map and perhaps more new spells. Adding a layer of special items that can help you instead of just gold would also be fun. I'm not through with the whole game yet but it's keeping me interested. Good job.

As a game with decent graphics and a battle sequence is an OK game, as claimed an RPG it is not, a very linear game, to the point you can't just wander off on your own, you follow a path and battle some enemies get some gold and you character get some experience. There is no equipment management or other RPG elements no actual RPG. No way to manage you character skills or improvement. However because of the no IAP I will keep it and support the developers. And just because of that you get an extra star.

Awesome game! Just completed the first section, I'm addicted, thanks for such a great game! Worth every penny.
