Color Mix

Try to find the right color!
 
The central element of the screen is a circle divided into two halves.
The left half of the circle is filled with the template color and the right half is a color composed by the player.

The goal of the game is to match the template using 6 primary colors.
Primary colors can be mixed in any proportions limited only by the number of moves available at the current level.
The game uses Natural Color System which is a perceptual color model developed by the Swedish research group after 60 years of studying color perception in humans. The player is given six shades of primary colors: yellow, red, blue green white and black
 
In most cases the game gives the player the right number of moves needed to find the right color. The player can use each of the colors multiple times and the final color is a result of mixing primary colors in the right proportions. The algorithm was prepared to be most intuitive.
 
Color Mix has two gameplay modes:
 
LEVEL
In this mode the goal is to solve all the predefined levels. The difficulty of each level was prepared to follow player’s experience and make the gameplay more interesting and satisfactory as the game progresses. Fixed design of the levels gives an opportunity to compare results with other players.

CHALLENGE
In this mode the goal is to solve randomly generated color as fast as possible.
The most difficult gameplay is on RANDOM mode when the player does not know the number of moves needed to solve the color. All scores are saved separately for each difficulty level.
 
The game can provide also an educational value. It allows the player to check and develop ability for proper color perception. The game can teach how to mix primary colors to get any desired color.
