Yaba Sanshiro - Sega Saturn Emulator

Great progress so far, app freezes from time to time requiring a reset and save states often will not load (normal saving fine), but it is working at full speed on my Mi A1 with the games I tried, mainly Shining Force 3 with the translation patch.

This emulator don't play the best game of Marvel vs street fighter, X men vs street fighter or x men children of the atom. Boooo

Shield TV user here so I'm speaking based off that system but for those experiencing problems try these few steps. 1) Use .bin/.cue copies for all games. 2) If you don't hear music in your game open the .cue file up with a file editor (I use notepad++ on a pc) and check the naming at the very top between the two quotation marks, if it's a different name from your .bin rename it exactly the same as the .bin file, save it then try your game again, besides no music some games would not start for me because of mismatched names. 3) Some games will either not start or will crash at some point in-game without the actual Saturn bios instead of the built in one that comes pre installed with the emulator. Get the bios (any one of them should work but I used version 1.01 the EUR one I believe) and place it in your sdcard (storage)/yabause/bios folder, change the bios in the settings (also change the Cartridge setting to 32 Mbit Dram for games that use the 4meg cart such as xvsf/mshvsf/sfz3 etc.) to your new one then try some games that didn't work before. 4) If a game freezes on you wait it out for a minute or two and sometimes the game will come back again. Hope these tips help some of you

Guardian Heroes works great! I love Yaba Sanshiro! I am now given the chance to play some my favorite Sega Saturn games from my childhood, on a mobile device. I have the Moto Z2 Force, and paired with the Moto Gamepad mod, this is the best Sega Saturn Mobile experience you can get. Hands down! Keep up the great work!

This used to work great when my phone was on marshmallow, but ever since the update to nougat the audio has become choppy. Not the emulators fault, but be aware

Although at first, I wasn't very impressed with this, over time with the continued support and development has made this a force to be reckoned with! If you love Saturn, this is the one to download! Still a lot to work on. Daytona USA no music. Graphics unstable. Inaccurate Frame rate.

I could play sonic xtreme but for some reason I can't play sonic 3d blast can please add/fix this

How do i play/install games for it? I tried sonic r an fighters but it wont play/ load.

I can only save once in dragon force, why? (only one gameplay)

Seems to mostly work well emulation-wise.The onscreen analogue controller works a lot better now. Adverts are annoying (and don't seem to have been in the old version) but I guess everyone wants money from apps and there is the option to remove in exchange for a "donation", I would be more inclined to do so if there were a purchase version in the play store though since my purchase would then be remembered. I guess Sega wouldn't be happy though. The previews in the menu don't seem to work but did in the old version. Burning rangers looks like it needs some optimization compared to other games

I gave this 4 stars because it exists and with a few good games it works pretty well, considering how poor saturn emulation is even for PC this is kind of a feat. Where I take points away is the stuff that isn't limitations of the tech such as really poor on screen game pad and poor game image support. These games come in a bunch of different file containers and image formats but most other optical disk emulators appear to have this down pat.

It won't let me play Sonic R which is the only reason I got this emulator

Love the emulator but before your new system i used yabause and after last update and even on this emulator it made shining and the holy ark unplayable and it worked before. If u could fix this that would be amazing as shining and the holy ark is one of my all time favorite games. U guys are doing awesome all work

Runs pretty choppy on Gpd xd... Not the emulators fault of course. I donated a buck then tried to register and got a message that there was no record of my payment... Otherwise this is the best Saturn emulator for Android.

Currently the best supported emulator, with improvements made almost every week. The app developer is spending all there free time on this, you should donate if you like it.

Keeps getting ruined with updates. Optimize this thing for GPD XDS AND SHIELDS FIRST, phones should be secondary. NOBODY IS PLAYING THESE THINGS ON PHONES. Shining Force 3 still doesn't work. Shining the Holy Ark still doesn't work. Gungriffon still doesn't work. HUGE bug in Astal that renders it unplayable on a certain stage. I donated just to have the damn thing downgraded. Fix it or give me me money back. Edit: Now you're asking for MORE money? Get out. I won't support greedy developers. Here's one star for you.

I only got this emulator for Sonic R. But whenever I try to boot up Sonic R I get a black screen.

I can't believe I'm playing Saturn games on my phone. Truly remarkable. Seems to run games very well, but crashes every time I exit from a game. Some analog controller issues while using an xbox 360 controller, too. The only way I was really able to make it work was to manually edit the keymap.json file, and it still isn't perfect. Keep working on this, it's very close to perfect. New on 1.0.1: set as title icon doesn't seem to work now.

Can't figure out how to get anything to play and no one seems to answer questions regarding how. Seems like trash till proven otherwise.

How the hell do I load games on here. I did exactly what they said to do on the instructions. I have .bin. cue. .iso in the /games folder and it *still*doesn't recognize it! Even when I press "Refresh". I have all the settings set properly. What the hell? Help or this rating stays...

Best Sega Saturn emulator for android, with even more compatibility for games and great Dev support. Best run on a shield TV, but will run on lower spec devices just as well.

So does this obsolete UoYabause? I really liked that one, so this one must be good!

Doesn't recognise any of my roms that worked fine on old version of uoyabause. Why is this?

Don't pay attention to the ungrateful one star reviews. Those yahoos have no idea how difficult Saturn emulation is. For everyone else, this emulator has enormous potential and it's improving thanks to constant updates from the developer. Many games work quite well. Just check the developer's blog for game compatibility.

This is currently the best saturn emulator for android. With the right settings I got a solid 60-50 FPS when I was playing Sonic 3D Blast. Very smooth and stable but sometimes I come across some graphical problems and sometimes sound would not play. Still great emulator!

Nice. I loved the old one but because of a Saturn save memory problem every game refuses to start, unless I use a built-in BIOS. Help please!

Plays Shin Botuden excellently, too bad it doesn't support lower end phones. My other android can't get this emulator due to this emulator being too new,or because my android is too old -_-
