DroidFish Chess

Please provide plateform to make play two different engines against one another. Though it is Very powerful chess engine..... Totally immaculate in calculations.... Beats many a powerful engines within 35 moves. But graphics and control could be made more user-friendly.

This is a great app. One strong recommendation is to have a toggle button for turning the arrows all on and all off. This would be extremely helpful practicing openings on your own and toggling on the arrows for guidance when needed. Otherwise its really really distracting seeing arrows while trying it on your own. There is a way to disable the arrows in the settings, but its an a nuisance to go back and forth. Thank you.

It beats me left and right. This engine will make you quit chess. It would destroy your ego.

My favourite but one thing must be added as in chessify app, the scan option from board or pictures is not included. We hope soon this option will be added.

Stunningly good app. Yes, the UI could be a little better, but the whole functionality and experience is VERY GOOD (I have never used caps in a review before ????). I use Droidfish primarily for inputting competitive games I've played (sub-120 ECF county player) to PGN format, then seeing where stockfish thinks I should be doing better, i.e. by suggesting better moves.

I love your app Peter, but what could be better is 2 things only: changing chess pieces and tournament mode for playing against engines. Do this and you will have a 10/5 rating for this app. Great job. I give it a 5/5. Add those 2 or even 1 of them, and itd be 6+/5! :D

Thanks for new update. In the future updates i expect new features such as engines match that could select two different engine in computer vs computer mode.and could modify each engine parameters.

Good app, however the interface is far too cluttered and the controls annoyingly complicated. Please simplify your interface!

Always the latest Stockfish version, tons of configuration options, analysis mode, visual arrows, import/export of PGN ...and free! The only thing I'm missing is the ability to analyze a whole game to detect blunders, errors and to annotate games.

Great app but when I try saving a game it asks me to locate a pgn file to save to. Why can't the app create its own? As a result I can't save any of my games, which is annoying

Top chess app but needs improvement many openings and all subopenings are not played by droidfish it should play each and every opening and all subopenings

I fell this app would be even better if you guys add a talk to speech mechanic for moves. Like let's say that I said "Pawn to E4" that the pain should move to from e2 - e4. I feel that this would be great for people so want to practice their blind fold chess, or even just get better at knowing the board. Overall it's lovely, thank you for making this app.

How do you tune the engines for Android to never draw, when initiating a computer vs computer match with one engine? Is there an option in the app for a slight tweak for those matches? I'd like to have a continuous Stockfish vs Stockfish or Komodo vs Komodo Win-Lose PGN generator with automatic numbered filenames, to, uh, analyze later. All. Night. Long. Till the breaka dawn.

Add 'next best' 'show threat' options. Default vs external engine match.. Add 'theme play' option to play every time same opening. Our suggestions and feedbacks you always take so lightly why don't u make improvements in this program. Remember, only people's suggestions can help you to make your app more and more fine

Best engine, confusing UI, and one thing I found missing lately, if you play 2 human players, it would be nice to have flipped pieces, so you can play like at the table.. Anyways great app and I know it's not important feature. Keep up the great work

This turns your phone into a full-fledged chess computer. It's incredibly feature-rich. You can open and save PGN files, edit the chessboard to create custom positions, analyze any position, and even use endgame tablebases. My only complaint is the complexity of the UI, but you'll get used to it.

Can't recommend this highly enough. The best chess app I have seen for years.

Very nice app with good functionalities but I am confused with the clock.By default,it is 2 minutes but when the the is over it becomes negative where it should be declared as "forfeit on time".

Graphics can be improved. This engine play better from black side than white side. But apart from all it is an awesome chess engine.
