About Ideate Games
Ideate Games is a set of 6 simple short (2-10 minutes) free games. All games share the same content on 11 topics: objects from the British Museum, science discoveries, western literature, art, classical music composers, culture (combined 3 previous topics), movies, and nature, 15C Europe, history of Alaska, each with 50-100 entries. More topics will be added periodically (feel free to send us suggestions).
Put events or objects in chronological or numerical order in the Strings game. Strings gives you 9 random items each time. Can you find the 5 closest to each other?
How fast can you identify an item (book, museum object, movie, science discovery, composer) from a clue? Clues is a quick but tricky clue-event matching game, where the clues can be quotes, descriptions, categories, name of a piece of music or painting. You are given 9 images, and presented one clue at a time.
Given clues to 4 items or objects and a map of 11 rooms, can you figure out the shortest path to collect those 4 items? Collections is a real challenge to how well you know the subject.
In Rooms, 11 items have been left in the wrong rooms. Your task is to sort objects to the correct room, based on clues. Each game has a randomly different arrangement of rooms (11 variations).
Buckets is a categories game, with 2 levels of play. Try to make the largest categories. Lots of help and hints available.
Crime Scenes is a simple multi-room game. You are given a clue to the crime scene. Find it, then you get a clue to the weapon. After you find that, you get a clue to the perpetrator. The crime scenes are paintings, the weapons are Museum objects, and the perpetrators are characters in Literature, with their descriptions mostly taken from the book.
