Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven

Pretty cool in depth character creation and lengthy story. A lot of options and choices throughout too. Really like the outbreak story aswell. It's a bit unique in the situation it puts the player in. Is now one of my favorite games I've played on here.

Really fantastic new Zombie Exodus entry. And very, very reactive, full of options with all sorts of branching narrative. This is one of the best choice of style game books out there. Just fantastic, evocative writing, no pretense. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely amazing. But I do feel ripped off. I think it was $4-5 for such a short story. I wish that you could've ADDED all the parts together like the last one, instead of ending it like it was a demo. Other than that, absolutely amazing. Loved it

I am loving the in depth story and customization you have with it. It's a great game. The only issue with it is it's way too expensive for part one and I imagine you plan to make it about the same for the other parts. I really think you should make it a lot less expensive for each part.

I loved the first Zombie Exodus game and this one is even better! I've only played once through and I think I died pretty early, so I am going to try again. But man, it was fun!!!! I've played a lot of Choice of Games, there are only a few that I've really enjoyed, but this one is the best.

Loves the vast amount of choice and ways you can deceive people and end them, while still being a nice loveable guy or girl on the outside. Can't wait for the next even if it costs money I've been a fan of the series for a while

Think of a zombie version of D&D but text based. What I mean by that is "choice" unlike newer games this game gives you real choices with real consequences and so many that you can truly call said choices "my choice" but I'd really have to compare it to fall out new vegas as well. Because there is a bit of a set path even though there are so many beginnings, middles, and ends to them it you begin to feel otherwise. Best choice of game I've ever played, even compared to the hero project series.

Love the content, gives tons of options and customization. Your able to basically import yourself into the game which is a great experience. I love the game but having to pay for anything over the 1st chapter kinda sucks... Since well I can't pay but I love the game :D

Overall a fantastic game, played the first one to death having multiple playthroughs from 2014-2017 and when this dropped I was so excited to play it! I've just completed it as well and it's amazing! My only gripe with the game is that the scavenging part at the very start of chapter 1 drags on a bit. Like the furthest you really go is Thelma's, I was hoping for a bit more exploration to pace it well.

I love the game I really want to buy it. I have the money but I don't want to buy a 15$ card for a 5 dollar game.

The amount of customization is insane and there is a lot attention to detail with the character and events that can happen.This author always puts so much attention to his characters and I highly recommend his other games Zombie Exodus and A Wise Use of Time which was one of my favorite. Also the backgrounds have really immersive things in them such as everyone recognizing you as a Movie Star, thanking you for your service as a Soldier, and even taking pity on you if your just a Teenager.Loved all of it!

I love the game and the story, have tried it almost over 10 times already. I hope the next part is released earlier than the schedule. I also think there are more ways to build relationships, and there are more choices unlike the previous one. Also the clothing styles(though it's not that important, just thought wearing a suit while fighting zombies or other survivors would be fun and looks cool. ) anyways 5 stars and thumbs up. But before I forget hope the story is a bit longer.

Pros: completely customizable Great character development, I actually felt remorse for a character I killed that was only there for a short action packed lil bits. Very well written, and with awesome graphics lol Cons: a few quirks here and there involving redundancies in words and some typos. Some strange reactions in areas which I will email the creator about so as not to leave spoilers. WISHES: in the character customization there is a zodiac symbol in the tattoos but it doesn't let you choose which zodiac symbol. And I wish that if you chose to put it on your face if you could choose where on your face like for example, by/under right eye. Overall I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes zombies and text based games, or good books. Also this could make a nice movie lol.

I liked the various interactions and differences between each games but I wish there was more to the story and that I didn't have to pay 5 dollars for the first chapter. But I'm always happy to support my favorite game designers :) keep up the good work

Bait and switch. I'm disappointed that this game doesn't tell you that you have to pay for each section of the story. Be upfront with your pricing.

I thought first game couldn't be topped. Now with just a taste of sequel, I realize Safe Haven will really surpass Zombie Exodus, which is feat in itself. First off, there's so much customization options for your character, it's like I'm playing DnD. Second, every choice has impact on your story. Truly no two save files would be the same if you choose even a little different here and there. This is the best Choice of game out there, and it's only a Hosted Game. It's much better than any of the professionally done Choice of Games, and it's only one part now! Mad props.

Great story! Almost roped me in. I sadly do not have any disposable income (lost my job recently) or else I would buy the rest.

DREAM COME TRUE! But the dream also has a limitation, i love this type of games where you get to chose, especially zombie stories, but people like the 17 year old me don't have the money to buy chapters (and i don't have credit cards) and it really is sad for me, but you guys really did a great great greaaaat job at making this game with so much effort and patience, keep on making stories like these guuys!

To tell you the truth. I think you can make a life of highschool game. 3 years of life in highschool. What is your choice? Follow the crowd? Join the nerds? Stay hidden and dont stand out? When you wanna stop doing zombie . I m sure you can make story like this. You are talented. Though my review is irrelevant to the game, that what I think when I play teenager prologue of the game.

Its amaxing! Hurry up with the rest of it!!! Only complaint is that it was too short, and reading the info on it, it said different stories and such, which essentially means that once a new part starts, you need to be some one else besides the character we just spent however long, building and such. Which kinda sucks. Atleast thats my understanding. Which also means that trying to romance a character is pointless bc you dont get that far. But maybe im misinterpreted it

In my opinion,this game is epic...but the prize is kinda.. expensive...many of the reader's are teenager and can't rly afford this kind of money..if u can pls make the prize lower or give discount... we appreciate it ＼(*T▽T*)／

Very nice and also adding Pacific Islander to the mix of races to choose is cool cause I'm P.I myself,but everything else is fine and big improvement to the first Zombie Exodus.Keep up the good work!!

Feel like this game is a complete rip off. £5 for a game that is really short and ends abruptly. Doesn't mention when you go to buy it that it's only 1 chapter is essence. Feel like I've been robbed by these people.

I can't help but to compare this game to AAA choice-based games like Fallout New Vegas, Heavy Rain, Life Is Strange and Until Dawn. A hidden gem. Highly recommended.

Would really love to have a sequel to this. It a great read. Love how every character has it own story. And please don't rush the more details and choice oriented the better

Absolutely awesome. I got over the price lift and now I can say that this game was made SUPER well (well enough to be worth 5 dollars each part). I love the tie-in with Josh from the first game, and the varying story in general. No two experiences are the same.

Best in the installment. I kept second guessing myself and ended up beating episode one with a teenager. It felt great since I made him exactly​ like me.

I loved it so much you can pick your person ability and personality and if you want a pet your race and what mixture of race and so so much more. Just did the free trial if i could buy it i would it is so worth it you can tell the time and effort they put in it. Great job you guys did in making it. Glad i tried your book.

This game is incredible, highly recommend it. Played a lot of interactive stories lately and none have topped this and Zombie Exodus. The choices actually have impact and the story is interesting and really well written. I can't wait for the next parts to come out, it's super engaging and the pacing is great :D

Part 2 cannot come soon enough. I bought this game and I'm sad I already played through the first part. All the other games I got in late so I have played each part.

Still w8ing for chapter 2, when will it be out? Cant w8 to play the next few chapters to see what happens, as I can see from the characters so far, I say there will be more romance happening than from the first Zombie Exodus. Good thing about ZESH is that we can further customize our characters than from ZE. Hope to play the next few chapters soon. Thank you.

Can't wait for part two! Also i don't see any reason for yall to complain about cost. It is cheaper than Exodus and it has more functionality to it. You can craft items and reinforce your home not to metion how the storyline changes at the beging to give your profession a unique feel. The story is aswome and I cant wait for the rest of it to come out. I have been wondering this for a while but why can't you have a niece. Why only a nephew?! And also why only a male dog seriously?! I mean this game is great but could be better with some additional changes or options to dependents and pets!

I loved this game! Great story and ive played it twice with totally different experiences but both being great. My only question now is, are the original Zombie Exodus and Safe Haven connected in any sort of way? I would like to see some tie ins, althought I know it would be hard to do that considering they are two different games with two different save drives. If it happened then i'd be ecstatic because that means my characters could meet! Overall, its a great game with great choices and lots of story to be told. Thanks for the experience!

I love how customizable your character and story is! and the last chapter was fantastic! In the beginning it became sort of repetitive, since all you did was stay in your house, eat, do a task, then sleep. But then it really picked up when certain events started happening and you began to let people in. Great story! Totally worth the money! Edit: JUST LOOKED AT THE CREATORS FACEBOOK and he said he's gonna try to release it by the end of November. SO pumped

Games better than ZE 1, but I can't access the ZE 1 rewards even though I typed in my account, I finished the ZE 1 and remember I had a save there but somehow cannot be accessed here. Am I missing something? Can't wait for the sequel though, this game feels like revolutionary when it came to zombie text-based games, particularly everything because its not just about killing zombies, there is survival in it and personal well being as well as those around you. And the Makarovs sucks, grade Z A-holes...

The game so far is good. Great character customization, compelling characters, and your skills made a difference. However I have to agree that 4 bucks, especially knowing that the next part will be an additional fee, does feel a little irritating. All that said I trust that it will be worth it judging from how this turned out.

I have read/played through this game with different attributes each time and it is really different for some depending on the strengths assigned. It pays to do a few run-throughs yourself and enjoy the happenings. Play as the opposite sex, make a character after someone you know or like a character on a ahem tv show. I was a female scientist my first run. The second, I was a girl with Jack of all trades skill but I pictured her a bounty hunter....a tough. You know? This last time my daughters wanted me to do a cop from a certain popular zed show. All of his attributes good and bad were added. It makes for interesting choices I tell you. I hope you give these "books" a try. So worth it. Who knew a book could have REPLAY value? Lol.

Engaging and well written. When I spent money on it I had hoped it would be longer. I feel a tiny bit ripped off because it's only a couple of days you play through in it, but that said, it is still the best multiple choice text based game I have ever played.

My god I can't wait for the next part. You people have an amazing mind to create this beautiful masterpiece. I thoroughly enjoyed the game from start to finish, especially the love interest of which I am enjoying so much so far. The context of the story, the point system for the abilities, I am totally digging them. Eagerly gonna wait for the next part. Great job dev team, another masterpiece made.
