Somme Trench for Android
All five star because this book has a tragic and heart pounding ww1 masterpiece with heart and new found poetry! There is no more to be said 5 stars!
Should be longer and easier to rank up a world war two version too would ben nice
I can't figure out what youre supposed to say when the sentries challenge you. Anybody know?
Great and awesome game. Please bring more stories like this to our hands in the near future!
Brilliant story and depics the horrors of war amazingly
Hardly any choices to be made at all.
A good book I read about 12 times
Wish there was away to choose gender I mean you could be a girl who snuck in to the army
Love the new save feature! Really wish I could drive a tank!
Great
It's great
This is a game that pages the genre into the realm of art. The writing is almost always top notch, the design makes replaying from different points of view fascinating. More a genre of literature than a game. I really can't offer enough praise to the developers. You really feel as though you are exploring history and humanity and any idea of score or victory fades. Very highly recommended.
You may or may not remember my previous review, which was quite critical of this game. After replaying it multiple times, I now consider this an engaging experience, if an occasionally frustrating one.
I hate reading for the fact it takes me a while to read things this is one of the only things that I was happy to keep re reading a playing again
I love this game but its too hard to imagine! I just cant :(
It's a good game but it's really short you can replay it but what's the point
Very fun and descriptive and worth every penny
Wish there was away to choose gender I mean you could be a girl who snuck in to the army
All the people I knew got killed, I eventually joined the Air Force as a machine-gunner. Died trying to save my only living friend from our burning aircraft. 10/10 IGN
Wish it had checkpoints though
Amazing story, loved it! If it was made considerably longer though i'd be willing to pay, say, up to $50 for it. Loved this story. :)
To short. I wish it went into more detail and had me go though each day and to have more choises in that day... It seemed more like reading a book other then choises. But each choise is very importent. About 3 hours of enjoyment.

Great
The story itself was great! Wish it had more options in a day to day basis. Also as I was about to REALLY get sucked into the story it ended.
Have to read heaps and I wished that u could be a medic or officer and make more decisions
It was short, when I begun to get sucked into it, it just ended, though I expected something like a good book, its my first experience with game books, I learned a lot about WWI, I enjoyed playing it(although sometimes the writing is too simple)
I love it I wish there was a way to be a general tho so I can be infamous.
I hate reading but I was so into this really makes u think wht would I do. I was a gunner got promted to cpl my Sgt got killed captured a German soldier on my own held out in no mans land then got promoted to Sgt then got sent home gotta play it again :D
I loved the story and absolutely adore playing it over and over again. I do kinda wish there were more jobs if not for the awesomeness, at least for the the ability to see the war from even more perspectives of othet specialist positions.
Can you add more guns or more solder like a officer or a medic job
I don't know the challenge word

Enjoyed this game a lot. Keep them coming
Wish there was away to choose gender I mean you could be a girl who snuck in to the army
Good read but more decisions needed
Love the new save feature! Really wish I could drive a tank!
One of the best.

Somme Trench is a rare CoG that doesn't take you across worlds or have you learning magic incantations. It slaps a rifle into your hand, blows the whistle and dares you to survive. The mishmash of battles and downtime moments, confronted with the supernatural, are chaotic, tense, frightening and gruesomely written. It's a title that takes striding efforts to be faithful and respectful to one of the most savage wars in history. Let down only by a relatively short length and somewhat limited replay value.
