I'll admit I was a bit hesitant to buy a game without any free chapters, but this was one of the best choice of game installments I have ever played. Very lengthy gameplay with excellent pacing as your character ages and eventually joins his friends in the after life, fulfilling ending and enticing epilouge. Would definitely recommend.

Will play it again once I recover from my end. Loved it and greatly enjoyed the story allthrough did lose a little of the magic towards the end. But I couldn't put it down and finished it in one day. Not sure if I should have made it past forty but was true to myself and fought many long hard wars. Really fun!

Don't really understand why this game has such great reviews. There are very few choices to be made and the dialogue can be really hard to get through. I made it to chapter 5 before I had to give it up. Not worth it imo

Don't normally review but this game is among the best I've read. Very long story with many different paths that's all very worth a couple of bucks.

A good text based game, in the last few chapters you get less choices but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Definitely something to lose yourself in for upwards of 5 hours depending on what choices you make, not the best I've played but it's definitely worth a look at if you're interested in medieval knight based stories and games.

This is absolutely stunning! I was left in tears right after the story ended. The author truly outdid his/herself on this immersive tale, cheers to you mate!

I love this story, i survived till the age of 63.... But my last kid was born when i was 60 0_0 thought u would like to point out he remand ever faithful to his wife TILL DEATH, which i got sick a died whilst seeing the ghosts of mt past cherished people and loved ones. He will forever be know as The King Maker.

loved it but found it interesting that my wife had a child in her 60s - other than this funny little glitch I was completely invested in this tale and didn't want it to end

I loved this game. The historical detail was nice and the entire story was well written. The save game feature was nice. You'll have to replay a few times to get a good ending but it was totally worth it.

One of the best games of this genre I have played , made me feel like I was actually there making the decisions myself , good job ????

The choices on last chapters don't seem to matter. For example, the character will always get back to Aswick with his demanding wife during the fire incident in the capital despite the combination of choices I've made. T.T

Is there only the ending where you become ill and die in the castle or is there any others?

I just finished the game and all i can say is "wow that was so much fun" and your story line can really change with some of the big choices.

It is a great game and I really enjoyed it but is there any way to get Stephen crowned King every time I try I get banished

Not too many choices to make all in all, and it had a very weak ending. But the management of a dutchy is pretty fun

I've played this countless of times and loved it still. I loved how the story was very well planned. Hoping for a sequel ! :)

Great story love the knightly theme if you like medieval stories in the same style as Cornwell you'll like this one buy it

Really good, if only there could be a map to help the reader visualize the locations and kingdoms.

Very few choices, reads mostly like an educational book teaching kids about medieval times.

I enjoyed this game, and I often find myself replaying it every few weeks. It's great...except it seems like the writer was super focused and energized at the beginning, but near the end it loses something. It's like you can tell the game is nearly over and he's just tying things up. Not a terrible thing, but...it's missing something that would otherwise have me rating it 5 stars

Great writing, intrigue, character development and choices can matter heavly but some plot lines fizzle out. You can take full advantage of your circumstances but can make huge reprucussions later. I would prefer the story being longer or extend into the next generation but for what it is its amazing. Lots of replay value

The narrative is terrible and convoluted, for the first half of the game there are barely any choices and the choices you do make for your own homestead as you end up whisked off elsewhere never to see the place again! Try Heroes Rise instead, a much better game with actual CHOICES TO MAKE.

Hands down the best choice of game I've ever played. If you play the way I did you'll witness a story of Knights and Ladies, Kings and Chivalry, and most importantly true, life long friendship. If you get the ending I got you will attempt not to cry and you will fail miserably. If you don't cry then you are without a soul

The game takes you from childhood through death (one way or another, you *will* die at the end, of old age in your bed if you are successful). Your choices do matter, although in many ways not as much as I might like. Beware, people or families may wait decades to get their revenge. That politically useful marriage can be great, until your wife poisons you to make her (your) son Earl. I enjoyed the experience.

The historical realism, and the depth of writing put into this makes the game worthy of 5 stars. It was appropriately long, offered many choices, and told a satisfying story of a knight you follow from birth to death. I finished the game utterly speechless, all I can say is that the creator behind the narrative should create more interactive novels. This was a masterpiece.

This game is great. Its in-depth and a wonderful story line. Now if only we could get a game exactly like this but in feudal Japan or China

Loved this game. The story is awesome, it doesn't have as many choices as other games but the different paths make up for it in spades. One of my favorites.

Over the pass months I've been really into these types of games, but out of all the ones I bought so far this is easily the best!!!!

This was an excellent story where your choices mattered. Very long and engaging story, well worth he money. One of the longest if not the longest stories. Loved it. edit on a galaxy note 5

Poorly written and offers very few choices. Waste of $

It was a long game with few choices and it was pretty boring but if you want something to entertain for a while it's worth getting also *SPOILER* DO NOT READ PAST THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T BEATEN IT. But if you get defeated in the final battle and sent to the crusades and you choose to restore your save your name will be John Doe and it won't change back

There should be more medieval rpg from hosted games, but games that dont run away too far from reality. Overall the game was great, i an hoping for more of this type.
