Life of a Wizard

This was a fantastic story to play through. My half orc had one emotional adventure, I was sad when it ended. But in a happy way. I do have one question, is this story set in the same world as 'The Lost Heir', cause they are both the kingdoms and their capitals are named the same. I'm just curious. Anyways, fun story, good job.

One of the best choice games out there. You choose a list of classic races ALL with different advantages and then you must boost your skills or magic, morally or inmorally. The point is there is tons of hours of enjoyable playtime!

I would give it 10 stars this game has the best story line ever unlike there other game life of a mobster but I applause this one the mid-evil setting is very interesting but the chouses you make don't effect the story line but that doesn't stop me from putting 5 stars love it Please make sequel and thank you for. the expierience its very much worth it i set in one spot for 30 min please make sequel

I would have rated 5 but the story was too short, the adition of checkpoint would have been nice so you could go back a few choices, and I want a refund! I also want more choises!

There's just not much character to Life of a Wizard. Just as an example - it asks you about your love's name, and then you choose their race, and then you choose whether you stayed together. None of this is the game giving your lover personality. I stayed with my character's first boyfriend because while he had no personality, so did none of the others - what was the point of dumping him for someone else who was equally non-existent. The story itself was rushed with a strange cadence that acted as if there were things that you should have known that were never mentioned previously. Ah - the great dragon Pardadaononx (i misspelled that on purpose) is attacking again. Again? When did it last attack? What the heck? The whole game is like that. Well you encounter X. What is X? Why is X mad at me? Who cares. On top of that - the stats often seem arbitrary at best, which - since there's such a huge number of them - can be obnoxious during quests. Ah, your Summoning 96% and Health 75% and your Alchemy 70% is useless in this battle against a single group of bandits. Only Illusion 50% helps here! Frankly, there are better choice of games. Play them instead.

Perfect in all ways except that you dont have much of a choice at the end, conquer the world or bring the golden age to your country

Months after finishing this game, I still enjoy it whenever I play it again. Indeed, the game has a high replayability value. ^_^

Bruh I'm like 1 hour into this game and I can't put it down...

I planned to sleep. Saw the decription of this game so I decided to purchase it. I was happy I did and of course. I didn't sleep until 2 replays. Its great because you can even choose familiars or animal companions etc human companions and get laid lol with 1-3 girls every replay. But you cant get the pegasus if you get laid cuz you are considered impure. Fuk u horse with wings imma bang.

The setting relies on classic high fantasy tropes, and ends up feeling unoriginal. Playing it reminded me of the minmaxing and needless complexity of early DnD, which it has clearly been inspired by. It is however a very good as an introductory piece to text-based adventuring.

While a good attempt, Life of a Wizard suffers from a rushed storyline that doesn't actually have that many outcomes of significant difference. The characters don't have the depth or personality of other interactive fiction, and I really didn't care at all when any of the characters left the story. Also, many of the stories have a "give up and go home" option, which really ruins the experience. Ultimately, it's just more of a " try to have these certain stats at the end" thing than I was hoping.

Not worth 3$, it also has very little replayability. A fun one time play through, probably kept me busy for two hours.

Excellent rpg, and repeatable with some difficult achievements to go after. I just wish it kept track of my various characters and playthroughs so I could forever see who I got what achievements with.

Really nice game with lots of endings possible. Though I am still unable to figure out how to be the fallen angel.

Do I even want to know how long this took to write? I can't even imagine how creative this person is and how long it took to write this story with how brilliant it is and how many endings there are to choose from.

The writing is unsophisticated. Having said that, I found this addictive and fun to play nonetheless.

True, this game is a little linear, but there's so much customisability, it's a really fun game, and you can choose to help or harm, become a lich, or save the world.

I love this game, it's so much fun! I wish the story didn't have to end. I'm replaying it to unlock all the achievements and explore the story further.

Well written absorbing piece of fantasy, I only wish two things, first it was longer and second that there were more things to do as archmage of the academy.

Like a lot of people who are thinking about getting this game, I read/play a ton of interactive fiction. Love when a well written story paints a picture in your mind and this one does that. What makes it even better is there are a lot of choices to be made so you really get invested in the characters and the story. Good story, good writing, good choices, good replay value. Everything you want in a good interactive fiction story.

Really enjoying the story, but I never seem to be able to romance the king, is this unavailable? Can I end up with him?

The only qualms I have for this book-game is the change in story-line; no matter your choices, it is pretty much the same from play-through to play-through. Each time, you hit certain key points in the game and it ends up only slightly different. For instance, no matter your race, you start at the same village. This kinda puts a hamper on replay value. First few runs are great though.

I bought this game because I thought it would be like other choose-your-own adventures, but instead I recieved instead a storyless plot where the choices just decides which areas your points go. It's basically collecting skill points in mini quest after mini quest until your skills reach 100 and you grow old.

Highly immersive, very replay-able. Had more than ten play-throughs before I got tired of it. Well worth the purchase. The Achievements feature is a big plus.

The stories that are brought to life by your games are just perfect, the ability to form friendships and alliances and study...Etc. These games are probably the best I've ever played on a mobile. Keep up the amazing work!

I had gun with this game, but i wished it was longer. Still the choices don't really change the next scene, but the result do vary.

It's one of the most well written interactive novels I've read. As an avid Choice of Games fan, I can confidently say that Hosted Games does a better job of developing their games and characters. Superb game.

This game was awesome from beginning to end and it's long enough to be worth the price. I recommend you get conjuration and thief high early in the game.

A fantastic game reminiscent of the classic choose-your-own-adventure books I used to devour as a child. Well worth the money I've spent on it because every new game I play leads to something different!
