Enjoyed but seemed a little rushed at the end overall good experience tho, i like the check versus whatever mechanic.

the character and story are believable and likable. the main story is pretty much linear with some minor changes with your choices and only the ending has a more meaningful difference depending on your critical stat and romance option. the ending felt kinda rushed as compare to the introduction which is a pity. i would like to know more about the characters and their after story. Dont worry about messing up in the story because you can always restart the game. which is what i did over and over again and memorising the correct option along the way. *minor spoiler* the plot twist about the main girl, silvana, is both the climax and awkward. There are no foreshadowing as to what she is up to. It isn't unbelievable but just felt out of place. **************** the games sometimes uses phrases that are hard to understand like... five hell", "welcome to fatehaven", "fatehaven companion". which left me guessing what they mean till now. Note that the "fatehaven" here most likely doesn't mean the game itself. In the end, the game is pretty much well done and can easily draw you into the story. however, the plot twist might not be as well structured as you hope to be. largely Linear storyline with branching endings and minor narrative changes based on your choice. 4/5 game. worth your time

Whats the Check Versus emotional:Fail or pass stuff??? Does it mean when you fail it takes away from tour stats depending on what you do??

This game has my heart in pieces!!! totally In love with every character!! it's a game I'd play over and over ^-^

I LIKED IT, But I get stuck on some parts. I wished that it was a little bit easy at some parts.

The characters were so intruiging and so qas the story! You shoukd totes buy it, its srsly worth the money

Good game and Warren's multiple play throughs

Worth the money. I love magic and fantasy... let's not forget romance! But it lacked in romance. Took me all game to finally get my guy. Though the plot was amazing and I'm very impressed. I'd love more magic but the MC was strong and I felt like I made her turn into me. I'm impressed over all and can't complain. Some parts where boring but like any book there's always a little part like that and I might have just chosen that path myself in the book. Amazing read. I'm gonna go look for the other books.

Kinda felt railroaded a bit but I didn't really mind that much. The story started off as pretty generic but in my opinion that only made it better as the story increased in depth (got a definite Undertale vibe after completion). Definitely my favorite author so please continue with your work.

I don't write many reviews, but I had to for this. I have played many CYOA games but I have never enjoyed one so much until now. Fatehaven has an enticing story, likeable characters, and a great narration. I was laughing one moment, and tearing up the next, then laughing again. It takes a great writer to be able to do that. There isn't much replay value but the one playthrough is enough to experience what makes the game so great. I look forward to whatever this author has in store next.

I was scared I would have to put a one star here, but I'm glad everything worked out. Great story. Great characters. SO GOOD. However, I would like a kind of check up on the characters after the story. I know you have one for the main character and any characters they might marry. But I'd like to know about the others too.

It started out pretty good, but really sucks as the story goes on. It seems like whoever wrote this rushed through it to pass off this garbage and make money off it. There are few choices to make, which makes this even harder to get through.

A single playthrough took me one hour, not four, and didn't like the ending. Tried different choices but got the same one. Also disappointed that an interesting potential romance option dies at a certain point no matter what I chose.

Ending was a little rushed but the story was very appealing. Choices actually somewhat mattered but there was still a relatively interesting plotline going on as well. The narration was very funny and somewhat lewd descriptions added entertainment.

Boring story i forced myself through it. Narrator trying to be funny but isnt. Few choices which dont matter that much. Overall i regret spending £2 on it there are much better ones that are free.

Charming! Probably the simplest, yet most entertaining choice-based game I have ever played. While most interactive novels can be a bit of a slog to get through (often discouraging me from attempting several playthroughs) and have the tendency of taking themselves too seriously - "Fateshaven" is a fun adventure with loads of heart, that isn't afraid to be self-aware or humorous. Characters are identifiable and likeable, even if the secondary ones seem to be more developed than the main ones. Storytelling is good but unbalanced; the beginning chapters go on for much too long. Romance options are sweet but feel somewhat hollow, needed more development. Options are few and feel lazily put together, more and more thoughtful ones would have been nice. Nevertheless, very replayable; worth every penny.

It is a great rpg with the quality of a high end fantasy novel. Probably one of if not the best cyoa ive ever played and one of the best games and books ive played and read. I tremendously recommend this experience.

Terrible. Game starts off interesting...then basically puts you on the bench while the writer proceeds to decide what your character says, feels about other characters, does, and even thinks, which is often perverted. Perverted would have been fine if it was cause the player decided to be that way but its like that no matter how you try to craft your character. This is yet another story where the writer is more interested in telling their own story rather than caring about being a choice game and letting the player have valid input.

It was a fun experience but it was very lewd in places (almost unnecessarily so) and the ending felt a little anticlimactic. The "check vs" system really broke the immersion as well.

I liked the game even though most of the choices were based on two things that are easily picked by your stats but the ending wasn't great almost going out of its way to insolt you the reader and lable you as a villian for picking the choices be them good or bad

Wasn't sure about buying this..but sure glad I did. Just finished my first playthrough, and I'll definitely read it again. Well written,funny,also thought it was a pretty good ending. Keep up the good work!!

I love it, all the other way through good characters and interesting situations. But I am sorely disappointed in the ending. First not only did you make all of the events that transpired caused by a meteorite that's going to destroy the world but also make it a time traveling mess that makes all our past choices void I couldn't even get myself to pick it up and play it again

Dissapointing. The start was intrialguingbwith 3/4,choifes. But afterward, You can't called this choice of games if you can only pick one between 2 choices. This is practically just a novel. Your choice also did not influence where the story goes. Or even your character. Replayability also only interesting for a first timer. Waste of my money.... Too bad...

I've enjoyed many CoG titles, but this was a surprising and awesome one. It was a lot longer than I expected and had some amazing depth. More creative than most too, in my opinion. Oh, and pretty good romantic choices.

I really liked the story but it did disappointed me a bit. I've tried going through the multiple endings and was disappointed by the fact if how little the story line changes when you have a different element. Makes sense but still there were only small changes to the storyline making the replies boring. In addition to that, is there even an ending where you can get fully corrupted? I've tried multiple times with only getting around 70% would have really loved it if there was an ending for it though.

I was sad that patch died but other than that it was amazing and I love it I wish they will make a second one about after you stop the meteor.

But why, when it asks what you think about religion, does it consider the, 'They're just a means of control!' option to bring up your emotional score? Wouldn't you think it was the opposite? That irked me.

Good start, great flashbacks, wonderful imagery! Leading in the story to the plot twist my heart just exploded! There's really not many choices and I actually hope for a more drastic ending.

I wish the skill system wasn't so complicated or so quickly subject to change. Also, the same story could have been written with common English...

It's a well-written story, and it's definitely worth reading, but the world hardly seems original. A land called Delmacia? One letter off from Riot's Demacia. Orcs have tusks and green skin? Blizzard's Warcraft did that. Silvana the dark magician? Sylvanas from Warcraft is a banshee. I could go on, but you see what I'm driving at. Oh, and just so I'm clear: Borrowing ideas is perfectly reasonable. Taking them wholesale, less so. Also, four-hour play? If you read super-slowly...

Fell in love. Just... Even as i reminic, my heart aches.

Set in a fantasy world where magic is taboo, you being a mage is handled well, and the characters you meet along the way are quirky, though a bit shallow. The price the game is set at is just right, as it is a lengthy, enjoyable tale, though not quite as long as games like Tin star. Those looking to buy should definitely do so, but I would play through the demo in the CoG website first to see if it's for you.

Sadly the choices don't seem to have any real impact. There is very little variation. It was still a very good read though. Hope to see more of this author.

I did not find any dragon in the story. Although the plot twists is good. Spoiler alert! As far as I know there are 3 ending for each girl. 1 single ending. 2 dead(killing your friend and get your soul pulled out ) There is no Dragon????!!! Why would you put it in the opening when there is none?

I, as a seeker of my own adventure, have bought and read many types of books such as this and I have only one thing to say about it... It is the greatest book I have ever read in my life so far. I wish to give my personal thanks to the men and women who wrote this story and hope to have even more awesome books such as this in the future. Thank you for all your hard work into making making a masterpiece such as this.

Quite an enjoyable story with numerous choices. One star off for lack of distinction between stats and I had no clue when the main char was talking and when he was just thinking.

While the world and writing is great there is not much of it and virtually no choice. The story was nearly identical save the end and even then there was only tiny room for variation. Not worth the amount I paid but I enjoyed my first playthrough and hope to see more from the author.
