Amazing! Historically very accurate, I would say not just about the course of the events but also the social mindset. The action is vibrant, and the choices keep you in tension and involved. Just one thing that buggers me, Gabrielle does not soud to me as a spanish name. Is it meant to be french?

I love seeing the comments of "Ewww violence" what did you expect in a war book? Sure they are pictures and I am confused why they were included but all of that did happen..

I just cant play this game, all the fighting makes me sick! Brothers shooting at each other after having had breakfast together, wtf was wrong with people in this period?

This is some brutal history with actual photos (including people holding human heads). I just couldn't get into it personally.

It's a great Choose Your Own Adventure, forget about all the lightweight whiners that can't handle graphics!

I knew nothing about Spanish Civil War. This story immersed me in it and gave me 4 different angles from which to do it. So engaging. So awesome. But there were a few typos here and there, my only criticism.

Best choice game I've played so far. Not too long, not too short. Very educative as well. Your decisions don't influence the game THAT much but nevertheless worth the price without a doubt.

It's one of the best written Choose Your Own Adventure Games I ever play! With actually meaningful choices!!!!

We need more of this kind of game. I love the setting of the story, which is a departure from the usual fantasy or distance future

People usually make games of choice in different settings, usually fantasy. This was a nice turn from that. Although the choices are fairly unimportant in themselves, its still a great and educational read. I have always had an interest in the SCW, and the time period, and this was a fun way to explore it. Btw, dont listen to the guy who posted that you need to remove the images. That dude apparently though he was downloading a different game (its about a very tragic civil war in spanish history bro).

U must remove the horrible photos of ppl holding heads etc. Until u do that I won't rate this. Also needs a warning for ptsd. Sufferers.

Pretty clear the author's put effort into researching and describing details, but the writing feels a little heavy-handed and the glitches of tense and punctuation are distracting.

Amazing, worth the money 100%. I always read the reviews pre-purchase to choice games, and this one stuck out. Immediately I wasted a good hour and a half simply absorbing all the information in each choice and result. You'll find yourself hating the view of some characters, but trying as hard as you can to keep them alive. Seriously just a wonderful story with a nice set of choices.

While the author definitely needs to proofread his/her text, the story was well-interwoven with a lot of research obviously done to ensure accuracy. It focuses on a major modern civil war that is often overlooked and overshadowed by the World Wars of the same period. Great read (if you don't mind tpyos.)

But I didn't play it over to see what's different even though it was sad and not the best ending possible, it's my story and I wouldn't change it

Writing is good. Just not what I look for in a Choice game. I want immersion. I just couldn't get into it. I like to create a persona, mold it into something. It makes me care about the main character(s). In this, I just didn't care. This would have been better as a short story without the choices. Just my opinion.

Doesn't keep my attention for more than 10 minutes. Not as fun as some of the other titles from Hosted and CoG.
