Text Twist

I consider myself to be lierate. I am by no means a websters dictionary. But I know my fair share of some pretty uncommon words. I love a challenge. But these words are so ridiculously uncommon. I love a challenge, but you shouldn't have to have a Phd in a dictionary, to guess these words. It should be called "Text Twist Dictionary Expert Edition".

The game is fine. Simple, but clunkier play style to similar games. I like the low permission requirements for security reasons and that is why I chose this game over others. However, recently the game has not been recognizing words even when I type them correctly. It will say "wrong" and then it will be a word I "missed" at the end. Is the coding off for the letter characters???

Really enjoy this game. It gives hours of entertainment. The only drawback is I wish they would add more words, as many times the same​words repeat themselves.

Five rounds and didn't understand a single word they wanted me to find and I usually love games like this. Game play was chunky and they didn't have features like last word played or easy control of the letters.

If my alarm goes off during a round, the entire game will start over with new letters and completely lose ALL PROGRESS!!!! MUST FIX ASAP!!!!

This is nothing like the text twist i used to play. I can't find anything like it either. This one though. .. the word "aarrgh" was a winning word. COME ON PEOPLE. Really? Aarrgh im a pirate.

It's a decent game but the words are often not American English and they repeat the same anagrams

Word lists were very strange to say the least. Could have been such a good game.

Their are plenty of (off the wall) words that just isn't a word I've ever seen or heard of... Hopefully, time will tell.

Words no one else uses...pointless.

Bit limited with only six letter word anagrams. And what is the point of the hints giving you clues to words you have already found??

It's addicting, but I like the original better. This is a very short version and this is just not for me.

The words that are used are so uncommon, I was making up stuff most of the time. Not even sure if the words I was using are real words. I was looking for text twist I played years ago with my family. We had hours of fun. This is not it at all. Games are suppose to be fun and challenging. This was just ridiculous. I don't know how much they paid that person to say it was a great game, but if it was so great why did they only rate it 3 stars. There should be a warning attached do not waste your time unless you regularly read the dictionary or you are fluent in baby talk. Worst game ever.

It uses Scrabble dictionary so I expect weird words. It's nice that I can get their definitions, so stop whining sheeple. Would be nice to have a 'last word' button. ALSO, please FIX tablet display. Big font on top, teeny font way on the bottom. LG G

Too many dictionaries. Too many nonsense words. Also I get a good score going and stop to do something else only to find the game has stopped running when I want to continue playing.

Over half of these words you never ever hear in everyday vocabulary which takes the fun out of it. I would give it a minus on the stars but unfortunately it won't let me. So stupid

and the fact that it does not require special permissions and adds makes it even greater! Thanks so much!!!

Been looking for a game easy to use like the old Text Twist game, and I think I found it. Just wish timer was longer with more words to guess, like the original. So far this is the best app I've found to play this game. Keep it up. Thanks!

I'm good at these games, but this is the stupidest one, just like the others say

Mist heel wat woorden, die echt wel bestaan. Niet alle geldige woorden/afkortingen zijn gekend door de gelinkte woordenboek. Afkortingen en eigennamen zouden eigenlijk niet aanvaard mogen worden. Hint geeft letters van een reeds geraden woord! Nog wat werk aan dus.

There are English words it won't accept, and too many words that I've never heard of and can't find definitions for. Am uninstalling.

I very much agree with the others that a lot of the words I've never heard and I'm usually really Good at this kind of game. I don't mind learning new words but this is a bit much. I just put in random letter combinations and get a word. I'm uninstalling.

I liked playing a text twist game on my PDA so I tried this app. The other reviews were correct. This program has a lot of strange words in its dictionary. Uninstalled.

Not enough words or variety

Full of stupid words with bizarre spellings and usages. Should be able to select/deselect dictionaries. Deleting it as a waste of time and space.

Full of words the average person never, and I mean never uses.... even Google search didn't know what kepped was...

Helps improve vocabulary

This has too many never even heard of words. Like a crossword puzzle. Sorry, it's not for me !
